Most of the bodies of water have all but dried up. We have been starting with the implementation of water rations alongside food rations but I do not think that we will have enough for everyone in the facility. I am unsure how we will handle this but I hope that with the new recruits things will get easier.
We have a pregnant woman here amongst those who are on the priority list. The higher-ups have told the resource distribution team to put the “less helpful” people further down the list. I understand their reasons but still, I find it highly unfair. If only I was capable of doing something more instead of typing in reports into this computer and watching as the people I help slowly die from this heat.
Back to the new recruits– we have only two this round. The numbers have been dropping the past few months since the start of all this, but it is understandable. Most people are weak due to lack of resources and have more or less accepted their fates. I am thankful a handful are still willing to help us all survive this. Hopefully.
New recruits:
1. Asahina Mafuyu - Researcher
Before temperatures started spiking, she was an outstanding student in the field of medicine. She has delved into studying geography since the temperature spikes. It is admirable how she keeps on top of highly demanded skillsets. No doubt her intellect will be extremely useful in helping us survive this.
2. Akiyama Mizuki - Field explorer
Adaptable, nimble, and quick on their feet. Mizuki has proven themselves several times before, when we were still able to venture out without the need of heat endurance survival gear (HES gear). They were one of those who kept bringing back more resources, clearly good at scavenging and even finding things in places we have not thought of searching before.
These two should help us greatly.
