Chapter Text
INTRO (sort of?):
Nemo was leaving to study abroad all the way from Switzerland to go to Malmö, they were very excited but were also anxious as one is when leaving the country they’ve lived in for almost their entire life.
Despite that, they are very much looking forward to studying music, IN SWEDEN!! And also spending time with other musicians from all over the world (seeing they were going to go to an international school)
They’ve also been looking into what type of side job they might take, so far they found a cozy coffee café close to campus! They have already sent a mail applying, so now they just have to wait for a response
And because almost all of the students going to the school come from abroad, the school provides dormitory for all those who follow a course, these were shared dorms but Nemo could put up with that! They’ve already had some brief contact with the person they’d be rooming with: Bambie Thug was fae’s name, so far they seemed really sweet, they were sure that they were going to get along just fine.
Nemo was going to follow a music course and chose to follow multiple genre’s of music because they could never choose between any of them, and they really do want to combine as many genres as possible into a song at one point, kind of like their own bohèm.
Huh that would make a good lyric hm, they’ll have to keep that one in mind.
PRESENT:
Nemo was finally on their way to Malmö and they were so so so excited for this new adventure, and if everything went well on Friday they’d be officially working at the little coffee shop!
But first they were planning on getting to the dorm and get some sleep because hitchhiking may be fun some times but it can also be exhausting. And after that them and Bambie would go out together to explore the city a little more
When Nemo finally arrived at their dorm they didn’t see any sign that Bambi had already arrived so they just put down their stuff, briefly made up their bed and went off to have a nap. They didn’t really dream of anything, but it was still very calming at the same time.
When they did wake up again they saw that Bambi was just arriving and putting down all of their stuff, so Nemo stood up and quickly said
‘My god, Bambi it’s so nice to actually see you in real life for the first time!’
To wich Bambi replied with
‘I’m so glad I finally get to see you, come here.’
And their opened their arms gesturing for a hug which Nemo accepted happily, them and Bambi had become a lot closer ever since hearing they were going to be sharing a dorm together, that was one positive! They already had a friend in this whole ass different country.
After Nemo had helped Bambi settle down and fully unpack they went out to go ahead and explore Malmö, and also try to find somewhere to eat because the both of the two were really craving a snack, well actually just a full meal right now.
As Nemo and Bambi left the school campus they just wandered around for about an hour walking a little pointlessly, but then they finally found a little café that also served warm baked goods a.k.a. The best food there is to eat when you go to a different country, they’ll try out some more traditionally Swedish stuff later at some point.
After they’d looked around Malmö, while talking about almost everything there was to talk about. They went back to their dorms because it had been a long day for the both of them and tomorrow would be their last free day before the classes start
