"Firefly!"
Firefly perked up and turned his head to face robin, his lover, the only one who understands him. "Yeah?" He placed his phone down and tilted his head, wondering what she wanted in the middle of the night.
"I love you~" Robin hummed as she placed a kiss in his cheek, making firefly flustered. "Ah..what was that for, Miss Robin?.." He questioned sheepishly, "Stop calling me that..we are married remember?" Robin said. — it's by habit...he can't stop it. "Yeah..I know, it's almost been a year.." He mumbled.
"Mhm...anything you prepared for me?" She asked, teasingly. "I..haven't gotten there yet." Firefly sighs, feeling bad. But robin just chuckled and held his hand. "Hey..look at me." Robin said as she grabbed his chin and made him look at her. "It's okay, little bug..gift or not, I don't mind." Firefly stared at her blankly... "I'll love you, always."
"..." Firefly stayed silent, feeling embarrassed. "I.." He paused as Robin looked at him, smiling, her wings flapping gently — she's happy, he knows. "I love you too, Miss Robin." Firefly managed to say. Robin chuckled and sighed, "You're still saying that..silly little bug." She mumbled as she leaned for a soft kiss, firefly reciprocitated.
"Miss Robin.." Firefly said softly, almost like a whisper, "Why did you choose me?" Robin hummed as she got comfortable under the sheets. "It's something that attracts me to you, little bug." Firefly's brain stopped — "You aren't afraid of me?.." He asked as he wrapped his arms around firefly, in a spooning position.
"Well..is there truly an answer to that, little bug?" Robin hummed. Firefly thought for awhile, "I don't think so...but-" Robin turned to face Firefly, "Then, that's the answer, little bug." Robin yawned. Firefly watched as she fell into her slumber and firefly sighed, trying to figure out what she's trying to say...
"You never make any sense, Miss robin.." Firefly mumbles as he fell asleep as well.

"Wake up little bug." Robin hummed as she traced circles behind Firefly's back, causing firefly to whine. "nooo....5 more minutes." Firefly complained as he turned around, pulling the blanket, causing robin to jump. "Sleepy little bug." Robin giggled softly as she kissed him, making firefly wake up immediately. "W-w...what!???" Firefly panicked and fell off their shared bed, making Robin laugh loudly.
"Hahaha! ahh.." Robin huffed, stomach hurting. Firefly got up and threw a pillow at her, getting angry that she laughed instead of helping him. "It's not funny, Miss robin!" Firefly cried out. "s-sorry little bug...haah, it's just too..funny!" Robin smiled as she caught the pillow.
"Hmph. You're nothing but a big meanie!" Firefly murmured as he got up and walked away, frowning. Robin quickly caught up, hugging firefly from the back, causing them to fall onto the floor again, causing firefly to yelp. "What was that for!?—" Firefly grunted as he tried to get her off..
"Sorry little bug~ let me make it up to you.." Robin grinned as she kissed Firefly's face all over making firefly squirm. "Ahh—! no get off me! It's too much!" Firefly whined, trying to get away from her. "I love you little bug." Robin hummed as she pulled away.
"Let's have our breakfast now, I'm hungry little bug." Robin said as she got off him and walked off to the kitchen, Firefly behind her.
