It's fine I said
Yeah. Right.
I mean I did want to go, I wanted to see the inside of Chaos Breaker with my own eyes. But I guess being a demon does come to haunt you every now and then...
"All right, but I'll bring you a souvenir."
No Rudy, I don't need souvenirs...
I grabbed my hat, trying to hide my face, I didn't want him to see me. I was sad, a little bit anyways, but Rudy can always read me like a book. It's so embarrassing sometimes...
"I don't need any souvenirs. Give me a big hug when you get home and that will be enough for me."
In that moment I just wanted to get this over with, there was nothing I could do, simply accept the facts as they were presented.
But then.
Rudy opened his arms wide and grabbed a hold of me, that surprised me more than anything. My heart started to beat, and fast. I could feel my face grow hotter, it was probably so red right now.
His... lower part started to dance a little bit, but he quickly enough released me from that big hug and looked at me with a smile, a tender and sweet smile.
"Th-thank you..." I said
"No," with a tender voice Rudy responded "thank you"
He can be such a playboy when he wants to...
Or maybe it's just me wanting to be seduced, regardless, that was more than enough to make up my mind.
Such a sweet moment that felt like it lasted an eternity, but in the blink of an eye it ended. It got replaced by a disgruntled "Finished?" coming from the man with a mask for a face.
He made all of the others, Sylphie, Rudy, Nanahoshi, Ariel, Luke and Elinalise grab what looked to be a simple baton with two pristine gems at the end of them.
After they had grabbed the baton and the masked man said a few words he vanished into thin air, or at least that was what it looked like.
In no time at all, Luke, Ariel, Elinalise and Nanahoshi disappeared, the only ones left were Sylphie and Rudy. The two of them looked at eachother, then at me and suddenly Sylphie disappeared. Rudy quickly looked away from me and at the location where Sylphie was moments ago, looked at his baton, looked at me once more, and vanished too...

While I really wanted to be bummed out on my way back from those ruins, something about the way Rudy spoke made me really fluttery. I felt sad that he'd be gone for who knows how long but at the same time very excited to see what we'd do once he came back!
The trip home felt way shorter, I was certainly daydreaming for the majority of it, but it didn't bother me one bit.
It was a nice coincidence that today was my day off from campus, that said I needed to prepare for the next classes.
Or maybe not... Now that I remember I've already prepared in advance for tomorrow's classes, huh.
The only thing I had to do at most was watch over Lucie, but Lilia and Aisha were already taking care of that.
The yard of our home was very beautiful, it was a bit weird, it made me remember the village where I was born with a nostalgic eye, even though I had no real desire to head back there.
Aisha had taken the role of gardener too, she took care of the three trees that were growing there, there were flowers of many different colors everywhere, as far as I'm aware, she was trying to learn how to grow them to have zones of colored flowers, but the way they were organized that gave a bit of a chaotic idea and it has a very natural feel.
Even though Aisha, Lilia and Lucie were at home, it still felt very empty without Rudy and Sylphie, they simply gave it a lot more life
Or maybe I just missed Rudy?
That could totally also be it, but I guess it is how they say it, you don't appreciate something - or someone - until it's gone away for a few days on a 'business trip'.
And here she was, Rudy's greatest achievement - or so I assumed -, Lucie Greyrat, a tiny baby, she looked so cute, as of now she was snoozing with a large smile on her face, Lady Suzanne had already left, but I assumed she gave a full stomach to little Lucie before leaving for the day.
I wonder if Rudy wanted a boy or a girl.
He looks so happy, delighted even, every time he is with Lucie so it makes me believe he always wanted a girl.
I wonder if I'll be able to also give him a girl.
That's what he wants... Right?
I mean he's a man, men want kids, that's a natural rule, but...
Bah, it's not worth thinking about these things now, the time will come.
I've already spoken to Sylphie about it and she seems fine with it.
"Wuuh, Wah Waaah!"
Oh no! Little Lucie is crying, uh umm, uh what do I do??
"Waaah! Waaaaaah!"
Is she hurt, is she in pain? What happened to her?
While I was preoccupied with what I should do to help Lucie, Lilia opened the door and entered Sylphie's room.
"Oh dear, oh dear" Lilia was calm, she did not seem agitated in the slightest, meanwhile I probably looked like I was about to cry.
"It's alright Miss Roxy, Miss Lucy simply had to release herself, let me change her."
"Oh, a-alright"
Am I really prepared to have a child?
Maybe I should consult with Sylphie once she comes back.

A few days passed without much trouble, my daily activities remained the same. I'd wake up, have some breakfast Aisha and Lilia prepared. I would take a short shower, making sure not to wet my hair - It's so long it would take way too long to dry -. I'd get dressed and head directly into the school faculty with Dillo. After a meeting with the other teachers, I'd teach the students different and mixed subjects. I'd bring with me a small tub containing a very fulfilling meal that Aisha most likely cooked since it was adorned and decorated with different spices.
When all of that was finished, I'd return home, take a long shower, dry myself up and get dressed in my pajamas.
I'm not too fond of them; they makes me feel like a small child. However Rudy disagrees. He says they make me look 'cute' and 'adorable,' and he 'loves me very much', something that, regardless of how many times i hear it, makes me blush.
Before heading to bed, I ate dinner with Aisha and Lilia. Norn came over yesterday so today It'd be just the three of us.
And with that, another day without Rudy comes to a close.
Today is the third day Rudy has been out. After all my activities were finished, Rudy appeared home, I was hoping for an emotional reunion. He'd say "I'm back Roxy. You look wonderful" Or something along those lines. Sadly something else came about.
Nanahoshi had falled desperately ill, there was nothing Rudy could do about that. And to top it all off, Sylphie had been the one to experience first hand her - I think - friend collapsing in front of her while choking up blood.
Rudy only stayed for one day, or actually half a day, since he didn't even stay the night, the moment Aisha, Norn, Lilia and I were aware of the situation he took off again.
But regardless, I'm here for Rudy and so is everyone else, I'll support everyone to the best of my abilities.
Yeah, I'll do just that...
