Shinsou walked down the hallways of UA along side the self proclaimed "Bakusquad". Bakugou, of course, was leading the way. Kirishima walked beside him with Mina and Sero trailing a bit to the side behind him. Kaminari and Shinsou held hands as they walked a bit farther behind, absently talking as they went. Everyone came to halt behind Bakugou, Shinsou was confused for a moment but it made sense once he heard that voice. A boy called out and quickly approached the group, Bakugou being his very apparent target as the two began bickering back and forth.
Neito Monoma of class 1B. Widely disliked among class 1A due to his annoyingly eccentric behavior towards them. While Shinsou didn't particularly have a strong disdain for him, he understood why they did. Monoma was cocky, relentlessly petty, and mildly ( or strongly ) psychopathic. Though he was still admirable, enough so that even *the* Katsuki Bakugou recognized him ( even if he'd never admit it ). Bakugou and Monoma had a weird relationship like that. On the outside they seemed like the basic rivals, constantly at each others throats, but they always had this unsaid understanding of each other.
Shinsou was snapped out of his thoughts by the feeling of a hand on the front of his shoulder, Monoma greeted him eagerly with Kirishima holding back a clearly fuming Bakugou behind him. Monoma was about to say more but was cut off by the sound of the bell, Shinsou didn't realize just how much time they spent there. Monoma smirked before quickly turning and walking away the way he came, patting Bakugou on the head as he went.

Eventually the group got to class, not without getting yelled at for being late, of course. Shinsou wrote down what Mr. Aizawa was saying, but he wasn't truly paying attention. He kept finding himself thinking back to the earlier interaction, back to Monoma. He wasn't sure why, he was already in a committed relationship, so why was he so infatuated with someone who wasn't Kaminari ?
“I like you, Shinsou. We’re so similar.” Those words constantly played back in his mind. Shinsou felt guilty though, Kaminari had said the same words to him beforehand, but they just didn't seem to have the same appeal as the words the other said.
Perhaps it was because Monoma truly understood the struggles Shinsou went through ? But that wasn't really fair towards Kaminari because he also understood where Shinsou came from, he was also the one who spent the most time with Shinsou, so why ? why wasn't it Kaminari who clung to his mind ? It wasn't that he didn't love him, he did love him. Didn't he ?
