mother earth has been pillaged A violation that has awoken malevolent spirits. Seeking the lost, the frail, the depraved.
Charlene remembers her mothers words vividly, some speech she heard in church, she herself never believing in the "malevolent spirits" but she understood why her mom did. she was an older frail women, too old to take care of a then 12 year old. she doesn't understand why she is thinking of her, she knows the reality, that she is probably dead, perhaps a walker even, one of the many walker that do nothing but pillage other peoples lives, its funny if you think about it, in many ways she was alike the dead.
She doesn't understand why she's still here, The University, She always understood that people are a resource, people you can use and take from. so she would do just that. taking on the guise of being weak, submissive. that always worked, especially to men, but these people... she cant put her finger on it. She has hurt so many others, so why cant she hurt them? She can admit that that she tolerates most of them, disliking some, liking few. She respects Ruben, a strong willed man who is still soft with his son. she's not the biggest fan of her "roommate" Dario, he is an angry young man, often lashing out at everything that slightly annoys him, to her that made him stupid. Anger makes you stupid, stupid gets you killed. Maybe its because of Ron? The sweet Rwandan boy who seemed to gravitate to blonde with short cropped hair, always dead set on making her smile, sometimes he would succeed, she really likes Ron.
Perhaps the reason why she stayed is because she realized she was no better than the walkers, destroying the lives of others for her own personal gain. only time can tell.
