Lucifer Wished For A Child And An Egg Appears!

Summary:

Lucifer wished for a child after seeing Chloe get back together with Daniel and the next day an egg appeared in his bed.

I apologise for forgetting to get a prompt out last month but I've got a beauty for you now.

In Dutch we have a saying: in May every bird lays an egg (rhymes originally), so...
Show me Michael and maybe Lucifer dealing with the sudden appearance of an egg. Are they Demiurging in their sleep? Do they have a case of a divine cuckoo? And if so, will they get rid of it, or will they attempt to care for it?

Chapter 1

Chapter Text

Lucifer smiled as he sees the Decker/Espinoza family while Michael was busy eating a soufflé. Michael looked at his twin before sighing as he walked over to him. “You do realize that you can get a family yourself right?” he said, crossing his arms. “What? Oh! Yes I could do, but I would rather be alone for a while,” Lucifer replied, leaving to go get some air. 

Lucifer looked up at the sky when he went out for a walk, smoking his cigarette and as he blew out a smoke, shooting star appeared.“Well looks like I got to make a wish,” he said softly before slowly closing his eyes. “I wish for a child, it doesn’t matter how I want a child,” he said in his head before immediately went home. As Lucifer slept, he didn’t notice a shimmer that appeared and immediately twirled around his body and then went into a corner and made a popping noise.

The next morning, Lucifer woke up, got into the bathroom to get ready for the day and as he put on his suit, he noticed something in the cormer of his bedroom he sees something white. “What in the Me?” he asked, walking over to the corner and his eyes widened in shock as he sees an egg on top of a nest. “Well, it seems my wish came true?” Lucifer said to himself before sitting down beside the nest. As he got a closer look, he can see that the egg has different markings on it. The egg has gold specks on it as well as a few faint marks that looked like white feathers.

Lucifer looked at the egg and smiled before gently caress the egg, jumping a bit as it shook but calmed down as it stopped. “Looks like I’m not going anywhere for a while,” he said before going to grab a lamp that he had bought while high and set it up. A few weeks passed and Lucifer was still waiting for the egg to hatch. He had call Chloe, telling her that he’ll be taking a few months off since she and Daniel were together and didn’t want to bother them. Chloe was saddened by this, but she realized that Lucifer was trying to not ruin her chances of a happy ending with Daniel.  

Lucifer smiled as he caressed the egg once more, giggling as it wiggled once again. “You’re very active today maybe you’ll come out soon?” Lucifer asked the egg, leaning against the wall as he looks at the egg happily. The egg wiggled more, and suddenly there was a crack. This cause Lucifer to jump a bit and grabbed his phone to record everything. The egg started to crack more and chirping sound could be heard from the egg. Lucifer had tears forming in his eyes as he records the chirping sound.

After about an hour or two, a head appeared and the top half of the egg popped off for the head to appear. Lucifer jumped a bit before going over to help the baby out. As soon as he pulled out the baby, another appeared, chirping angrily at being woken up. Lucifer was shocked to see twins in one egg then he remembered someone telling him that inside a woman that an egg can have two babies as well so he carefully put the first baby in the crib that he bought that was big enough and quickly got the second baby.

“Alright calm down you’ll be with your twin soon,” Lucifer said as the second baby chirps loudly at being removed from their home. A few hours passed and once he cleaned both of the babies, Lucifer looked at the two baby boys who were happily suckling on milk and their tiny wings twitched happily as well. Lucifer sighed as he checked the time before looking at the twins. “Don’t worry I’ll make sure that everyone will rue the day they hurt you,” he said. 

Chapter 2: The Naming Of The Twins

A few weeks go by, and Lucifer was cleaning one of the twins’ wings which was very tiny but will grow massive. “Now then to name you,” he said to himself as he kissed his son’s forehead while thinking. “Hmm I know I can’t name you anything that makes me think of people I’ve slept with so that narrows down do to at least three million,” he said. “Hmm, Oliver?” he said, causing the other twin to react happily. “Looks like we got Oliver now to you,” the Devil said, looking at the baby who was staring at him.

“Liam? William? Henry?” Lucifer spouted out random names, but the boy didn’t react to any of them. “Clark?” he said, getting a reaction from the both by getting whacked in the face by the boy’s wing. “Clark and Oliver it is!” Lucifer exclaimed happily as he takes the twins and got them dressed for the occasion. Michael was worried, he had not heard from his brother in a while and he was so worried that he over watered his plant and killed it by complete accident.

Now he was angrily going to the plant store, but as he made it to the door, he looked over and eyes widened as he saw his twin with two little babies that looked like him! Michael was shocked and immediately went over. “There you are! I was worried sick about you,” he said, not wanting to scared the babies as they were drinking milk. Lucifer jumped a bit before smiling at his twin. “Apologies, had to keep these two a secret for a while so that they don’t missed out on bonding time,” he replied, looking at Oliver and Clark with a maternal look.

“Oliver and Clark? Hmm interesting choice of names, thought of a middle name for them?” Michael asked, causing the Devil to look at his twin. “Not really, but I would like some ideas for them,” Lucifer replied, looking at his twin who sat beside him.
