Chapter Text

1.

"No, chat, I actually will buy the skin once it comes out. Who would want to miss out on an Ahri skin?" Yunho says, looking back from his twitch chat to his main screen. He was currently live on Twitch with over 20k viewers who were watching him play Teamfight Tactics. There was a new update that brought back the game mode 'Choncc's Treasure', and Yunho decided to take a break from first person shooting games to play it. 

"Oh, we got Lissandra. What do I play with Arcanist? 'Play Porcelain and Arcanist' ? Okay, yeah sure. I'll let you guys backseat this game because the last time I've played was—" A voice cuts through his sentence, making him pause. He moves one side of his headphones back, looking to his right.

"Yunho, do you want cookies? I baked some."  

"Cookies? What flavor?" He asks, eyes going back and forth to his screen and to the sudden visitor. 

"Chocolate chip cookies." 

Yunho's eyes brighten and he nods, smiling at the visitor. He then stands up, leaving the frame and coming back with a plate of freshly baked chocolate chip cookies on one hand and a cup of milk on the other. His twitch chat erupts as he places the plate and cup on a table, making sure it's not in a place where he'd accidentally spill the milk.

Yunho focuses back on the game, buying the Lux in the shop and placing her on his board. He looks through chat a few times, taking a bite out of the cookies. 

"Hmm… 'Who was that?'  Well…" Yunho looks back to his right, then back at his chat. He laughs, looking hesitant, not wanting to answer the question. Just then, the round of his game ended, distracting him from the previous question. It was an augment round, and three augments showed up on his screen.

"It's Call to Chaos! I have to pick it guys, you know I do. The other options suck." He says, deciding to ignore the spamming on his twitch chat and focus on the game. Unfortunately, the game ends with him in 2nd place, losing to a 3 Star Rakan. "But how did we lose this game? 'Rakan things'? No, chat… I was so close to hitting 3 Star Lissandra… Do you think she beats Rakan 3? 'No'? I think she does though." 

After arguing with his twitch chat for a while, he opens up his phone to a few notifications. He chuckles, looking back at the stream. "Why is Wooyoung telling me to check twitter? What's up?" He opens up a new browser, opening the website and being greeted by a messy timeline.

"He said I was trending and I should check the trends? Why am I trending though?" His eyes widened and he stared at the camera. "Chat, are you for real? No! He's not my boyfriend!" He says, chuckling right after. His twitch chat explodes again, spamming multiple questions. Yunho grabs another cookie, dunking it on the milk before munching on it, his focus now on his twitch chat. 

"Yes, he's not my boyfriend. Why did you guys even think of that? That's like saying I'm dating my mom!" He exclaims, laughing at how ridiculous it sounds.

"Chat, I can't tell you who he is unless I have permission from him." He says, reading his chat as he takes a sip from the milk. "Oh, that's nice…" He says, eyes sparkling as he dunks more cookies afterwards. He reads the chat a few times while eating, and his eyes go wide when he reads a message. "Wait, redplanetz said, 'Hoyun, you don't have to hide his name anymore, Wooyo already revealed it on his twitter'  What? Wooyoung did what? Wait, is this why you guys were—" He pauses, typing on the search bar, clicking on Wooyoung's twitter profile and checking the latest tweet.

"What the fuck, Wooyoung?" He says, reading the tweet again. Realization dawns on his face as he looks at his screen in horror. "…This is why you guys were spamming 'hwa hyung', oh my fucking god… Wait… Wooyoung's calling." Yunho drags his discord window from the other monitor to his main one, answering the call. 

"WHAT THE FUCK DO YOU MEAN WITH NO PERMISSION?" Wooyoung's voice blasts through his earphones and he winces. "Hello to you too, Wooyoung." He greets, rolling his eyes and grabbing another cookie. 

"No, Yunho. What do you mean no permission? I'm actually so fucking nervous right now what did I do?"

"Wooyoung, Hwa-hyung appeared on my stream by accident. I literally had no intention of revealing anything because hyung might not like it." Yunho replies, and there's a few minutes of silence, with only Yunho's munching being heard, until Wooyoung replies.

"Oh my fucking god, you mean I accidentally revealed his name? OH MY GOD NO, I DIDN'T MEAN TO… HYUNG FORGIVE ME, I THOUGHT— oh shit he texted me…" There's a pause in Wooyoung's dramatics and a few clicks of what seems to be like a mouse was heard.

"He said, 'It's alright, Wooyoung. It's only my nickname anyway'…  HYUNG, YOU ARE GODSENT, I LOVE YOU" Wooyoung's cries of joy could be heard from the other room through Yunho's mic, and the streamer winces again. 

"Does this mean we have permission to talk about him on stream now?" Yunho asks. "YES OH MY GOD! Wait he texted again." Another pause. Wooyoung mumbles through the other line, probably reading the message. "It says 'You can talk about me on stream if you want. The viewers are quite curious. Just don't reveal too much'…" There's a few seconds of silence until the two of them realize.

"Yunho, you know what this means…" The streamer looks to his camera after hearing what Wooyoung said. A mischievous look appears on his face as he grins. 

"Hwa-hyung, all I want to say is that, you'll regret this."

"He texted me again. 'I hope the mods are ready for damage control'… Hey, we're not that bad… Well, maybe a little but still not bad!" Wooyoung whines and Yunho laughs. The two then start their mission to ruin their hyung's life.

"GG! Finally won a game! And you guys didn't even believe in me? Told you I'd hit Hwei 3 just in time." Yunho says, giggling while pointing an accusing finger on the camera. He's around 3 hours into his stream. Wooyoung had already said goodbye around an hour ago, saying that he had something he needed to do. The two of them had spent a good 30 minutes blabbing about random things that can describe their precious 'Hwa-hyung'. Though most of it consisted of them either complimenting him or recounting an embarrassing story. 

"That's gonna be all for today guys, thank you so much for tuning in my stream. I won't be streaming tomorrow, so I'll be back on Wednesday with more Valorant. Thank you for watching!" He waves at his camera before turning off the stream. He leans back in his chair, sighing. He's tired as expected.

There's a few knocks on his door as he places his headphones down his table. The door opens slightly, and Seonghwa peeks inside. "Finished your stream, Yunho?" The younger nods, smiling at his hyung. Seonghwa walks inside, sitting on one of the chairs near Yunho's set up. 

"Sorry for abruptly revealing your existence to my viewers, hyung." Seonghwa gives him a reassuring smile, patting his back lightly. "No, it's alright, Yunnie. It was bound to happen. It's also my fault that I didn't realize you were streaming." He says and Yunho smiles. 

"The viewers liked you." 

"I'm glad they did. Even if they haven't met me properly yet." Yunho's smile drops when Seonghwa looks at him sadly. He frowns. "You can take your time, hyung. I know you're content with what you have right now, so we won't push you to reveal your face… You can just be like, a voice in the background!" 

"Yunnie, baby, I'm an ASMR youtuber and streamer. I have viewers who are big fans of ATEEZ. They'll figure it out somehow." Seonghwa chuckles. It is quite ridiculous if he stays as a voice in the background and no one recognizes him. He's already seen a few tweets talking about how the mysterious 'Hwa-hyung' sounds like him, Mars ASMR. It's funny, but at the same time nerve wracking. He sighs, standing up and offering a hand to Yunho. 

"Me and Wooyoung cooked dinner. The others are waiting on us. Let's go?" Yunho takes his hand, standing up while smiling. 

"Mhm, let's go."

Chapter Text

2.

San watches as Wooyoung's Minecraft character accidentally jumps off a cliff, laughing his ass off. "SANNIE, YOU ASSHOLE!" The in-game chat drops an announcement that reads, 'Wooyo_ fell from a high place' and San continues laughing, slamming his hands on the table. "Why didn't you tell me that the cliff was THAT high?" 

He rubs his eyes, wiping the tears that formed on the sides from how hard he laughed. "Woo, it's not my fault that you don't know how to do the water bucket clutch." Wooyoung groaned, typing a quick 'fuck you' in the in-game chat. San replies with an 'i love you too'. 

"I panicked! My water bucket was also in my inventory! How would I manage a water bucket clutch if that's the case?" 

"Skill issue, Wooyoung, skill issue." 

It takes a few minutes for them to meet again, with San sending his coordinates to Wooyoung, who still somehow got lost. San had decided to put Wooyoung's items in a chest and looked around the area while waiting for the other. The two had planned to build a house then get diamonds for armor and tools. 

When Wooyoung arrived and got his items, the two started to playfully hit each other, talking about random nonsense until they decided it was finally time to start mining. After a painful 20 minutes of battling with random baby zombies running around, creepers creeping up on them, skeletons with 20/20 vision, and spiders who seemed unkillable, they finally managed to find an eight diamond vein in a cave by the deepslate level after dying multiple times. 

"Sannie, can you craft me a diamond axe?" Wooyoung asks, his character crouching in San's screen. The other smiles fondly, before rolling his eyes. "I thought we were going to craft swords?" He asks and Wooyoung starts to protest. 

"An axe does more damage though?" 

"Woo, we only have 8 diamonds. We still need a pickaxe."

Wooyoung sighs, clearly tired of looking for more diamonds. "Can't we just settle on iron tools for now? Diamonds are hard to find. Since when did that even start to happen???" 

"Ever since the caves and cliffs update, I think?"

Their conversation was cut short when San heard a knock on his door. He moves his mic away from his mouth, mumbling a quick 'I'm streaming'. The person on the door says something, and San nods. Soon, the sound of the door opening is picked up by the mic.

"Hey, Sannie."

Seonghwa greets, waving his hand. He sits down on San's bed, making sure not to mess it up. San's streaming set up was on the other side of the room, and his camera was facing a wall. His bed was located on the opposite side of the streaming set up near the door, so it was impossible for him to be caught on camera.

"Sorry for intruding, I'm bored and I had no one else to bother." 

His voice was gentle and soft, but it was loud enough to be picked up by San's mic. It was still muffled, but now more coherent. His twitch chat zooms, with multiple people spamming new messages every second. 

"Hongjoong-hyung?" 

"Sleeping."

San forms an o with his mouth then faces his screen, his attention now back to the game. He leaves one side of his headphones off, to hear whatever Seonghwa was going to say. 

"Is that Hwa-hyung?" Wooyoung asks, delighted to hear his hyung's voice. "Yes, it is." 

"Does he know you're streaming or—?" Wooyoung asks again, still unsure. "He knows I'm streaming. He came inside my room willingly." The confirmation of who it was made his viewers even more excited, as the chat is now in slow mode with the influx of newcomers. 

"Okay wait, how is he hearing my voice? Is he watching too?" 

"Yeah, on his phone."

"Okay, now that Hwa-hyung is here, he will never escape." Wooyoung's Minecraft character playfully hits San and they both laugh. Seonghwa could be heard laughing as well, and San's twitch chat basically melts. 

"Hyung, what do you wanna do? Me and Woo are building a house, but we've run out of things to talk about." San asks, turning to his side and waiting for the older's answer. There's a few minutes of silence until Seonghwa suggests something. 

"I don't know. I really only came here to fight off my boredom. How about you ask your chat?" 

"No, Sannie, don't listen to chat. They're a bunch of children. Five year olds, I tell you" Wooyoung says, his character shaking his head vigorously.

"Aren't you also a five year old?"

"HYUNG?! No, I'm not??"

San clicks on a few things on his other monitor, reading the twitch chat that's bursting with life. There were a bunch of emotes and copy pasta. The streamer sighed, trying to read through the ongoing wall of text. "Oh, here's one. Mountainviewer said—" His sentence gets cut off when Wooyoung snorts, and San stares at the camera with a blank and disappointed looking face. 

"I'M SORRY BUT WHAT KIND OF NAME IS MOUNTAINVIEWER"

"Wooyoung!"

"No, no… I mean I like the name… I really like it a lot, it's so witty. Whoever you are, thank you for making me laugh… Okay, you can continue." 

San rolled his eyes, looking back to the chat to continue reading the message. "Mountainviewer said that we should do a Q&A for Hwa-hyung." He turns to look at Seonghwa. "What do you think, hyung?" 

"Uh, sure why not?"

A loud gasp could be heard through San's headphones and Wooyoung hits him again in game. "I really need to get back to streaming so I can drag Hwa-hyung with me." He sighs. "You're not gonna drag me with you?" San asks, pouting whilst shaking his Minecraft screen. Wooyoung's character crouches, walking closer to San. 

"Of course I'm going to drag Sannie with me!" 

"God, these two…"

"Okay, first question. How old are you, hyung?" Wooyoung asks, discord camera open. The two had decided to abandon their Minecraft journey and focus on much more interesting things (like exposing more shit about their precious hyung). Wooyoung had decided to open up the discord call and open his camera, so that San's viewers could see his face too. 

The live chat of San's stream was open on his other monitor, with multiple questions pouring in all at once. San had already told the viewers that they weren't going to answer questions that were too private, and will only stick to normal and usual stuff. 

"I'm 26. I was born in 1998." 

"Yes, chat. He's the same age as Hongjoong-hyung, but older by a few months. They're both ancient." San says, giggling. Seonghwa snorts. "You guys are only a year younger, what are you even talking about?" 

"I'm sorry hyung, we can't hear you because you're soooo old." 

"Can we move to the next question already before I change my mind?" 

"That's our cue to go to the next one. Someone asked, 'how long have you been friends with ATEEZ members?' ... Oh yeah, great question. The stage is yours, hyung" San announces, swiveling his chair to look at Seonghwa.

There's a few minutes of silence, with Wooyoung and San patiently waiting as Seonghwa counts how many years they've known each other. "Hmm, around 8 to 9? It depends on which member, really, but I think it's around that long."

San chuckles, looking back to his twitch chat that's going crazy. "Hyung, they're going crazy. 'They've known each other since their teens?' Yeah! Me and Woo are high school sweethearts~" Wooyoung basically squeals, and San's twitch chat goes even crazier. 

"Sannie, I want to kiss you."

"No, I want to kiss you." 

"Start kissing each other when you guys aren't live in front of thirty thousand viewers and when I'm not in the room, thank you."

Wooyoung bursts out laughing, with San following after a few giggles. "Hyung, don't act like you don't kiss—" A pillow finds its way on San's face, and his headphones falls off. Wooyoung, who's watching the whole ordeal, laughs even harder, practically wheezing.

San flops on his bed beside Seonghwa, letting out a tired yawn. Seonghwa chuckles, patting his head.

The younger had already ended his stream after answering more questions, like what games does Seonghwa play or what are his hobbies. They did their best ignoring the questions about Seonghwa's identity, his real name is or what he does for a living. The reactions on twitter were funny, and San spent a good amount of 20 minutes scrolling through tweets, even finding some of the replies of other ATEEZ members on the viewer's tweets. 

Everyone who was watching the stream that day knew all too well that San ended it with a big, dumb smile on his face. They've always wanted to interact with Seonghwa freely like this, and they all agree with their viewers when they say that Seonghwa stumbling upon Yunho's stream by accident was a blessing. Everyone's been having a really good time.

"You did well today, Sannie. You should take a rest. Wooyoung's coming here, isn't he?" The younger nods, shifting in his bed to get a better look at Seonghwa. 

"How's Hongjoong-hyung doing?" 

The smile on Seonghwa's face slowly drops. 

He sighs, hands now playing with San's hair. "Still not well. I already told him not to push himself too much when it comes to his work, but he always doesn't listen. Now I'm stuck taking care of 7 manchildren." San giggles, gently hitting Seonghwa's shoulder. 

"Thanks for taking care of us, Mom~" He sings and Seonghwa rolls his eyes. 

"It's late now, and Wooyoung probably already finished cleaning up his set up. I have to go take care of a child. And by child I meant Kim Hongjoong" He says, standing up from the bed and smoothing out his clothes. San lets out a laugh, laying down on his bed, a sigh of relief escaping his lips when his back hits the soft mattress. "Yeah, go ahead and take care of your husband. He's probably gonna be sad when he finds out that you left him because you were bored." Seonghwa gives him the stink eye, which only makes San laugh even harder. 

"We all know that's not true. I was kicked out. He said I'll get sick too if I stay with him any longer. As if I didn't vow to be with him in sickness and health. Seriously," He sighs, shaking his head in disappointment and crossing his arms. 

"Why does Seonghwa-hyung look like a disappointed wife?" A high pitched voice suddenly says, and the two turn their heads to the door to find Wooyoung. "Oh, and hey Sannie~! I missed you so much!" He says, running to San's bed. San immediately stands up, welcoming him with a hug. Seonghwa doesn't mention that they've spent the whole day talking to each other through discord.

"That's my cue to leave. You two go to sleep. I'll wake you up for dinner." Seonghwa says, smiling fondly at the two. San nods, and they both lay down on the bed, immediately cuddling. 

"Bye, mom. Say hi to dad for us and tell him to get better soon." 

"Yeah, message will be delivered." The older says, walking out the room. He turns off the lights before gently shutting the door closed.

The video starts with a small intro that consists of clips of Mingi and other ATEEZ members around the house. It then cuts to a short black screen, before Mingi finally appears. He's in what looks like the garden in front of their streaming house, right in front of the gates. "Hello everyone! Welcome back to the vlog!" He says, smiling widely. 

"I just got home from the mall. Brought a few things for my room. You guys are gonna be watching me decorate my room." He starts walking towards the front door of the house, opening the door and walking inside. The interior of the house is modern with a homey vibe. It was filled with furniture, with a few plants and decor around. There were frames on the wall filled with pictures of certain members.

There are a few voices being heard from the distance, and Mingi flips the camera once he reaches the living area. Sat on the couch were San and Wooyoung, cuddling with each other while watching the TV. Mingi pans the camera from the two and to the show they're watching.

"Hey Mingi" San greets, and Wooyoung finally notices the taller. He immediately covers his face with his hands, shouting at Mingi. "What the fuck?!" The man behind the camera giggles as Wooyoung throws a pillow at him. 

"What, you look good!" 

"My bare face is only for Sannie's to see!"

Mingi throws the pillow back at him and San's eyes are focused on Wooyoung. "You know you still look pretty without make up, Woo. Don't hide your face." There's silence for a few seconds, with the camera only focused on them. Wooyoung's face slowly breaks into a smile before he covers his mouth with his hands, unable to hide his joy. 

"God," Mingi says, exasperated. He starts walking away as the couple could be heard giggling. "They keep acting like they haven't been together for years now." He says, flipping the camera back to his face as he rolls his eyes. 

"I don't know if you guys remember, but Yeosang, Jongho, and Sannie's room is on the second floor." He says, walking up the stairs that lead to a dark hallway. "Mine, Yunho, and Wooyoung's room is on the third floor. The fourth one is where— Oh wait, can I even say it? I can, right? Because you guys already know who Hwa-hyung is…" 

Mingi looks around the hall, and he stands still for a while, thinking about what he's gonna say next. "The fourth one is where the hyung's rooms are." He starts walking down the hall, looking at the camera. 

"Wooyoung's room on the third floor actually became a streaming room instead of a bedroom. He sleeps in Sannie's room. You can never separate the two." 

He then stops in front of a door, knocking a few times before opening it slightly. The light from the room greets his face as he flips the camera once again. "Hey, Yeosang." Yeosang takes off his headphones and moves his chair, waving at Mingi. "What's up?" 

"Have you seen Hwa-hyung?" Mingi asks and Yeosang pauses before replying. "I think he's in his room. Need help with your vlog?" The camera nods. "Yeah, he's either in his room or helping Hongjoong-hyung with something."

"Thanks, Sangie~!" The camera flips back to Mingi's face as he closes the door, the hallway shrouded in darkness again. "Before you guys start tweeting about it, no. It is not always this dark here. The lights are just off and I can't be bothered to flick the switch, heh."

He starts walking again. "Yeah, so as I was saying. I redecorated my room and added a few things. Mostly the fan mail sent to me, like there were a bunch of posters there that I displayed in a corkboard by my setup. There are still more decorations I have to add, that's why I was looking for Hwa-hyung because he's an expert in things like this."

Mingi reaches the stairs and flicks the light switch before looking at the camera. "I'll be back when I finally have hyung with me." He says, clicking his tongue as the scene gets cut.

The scene then cuts to Mingi laughing in front of a door. He covers his mouth with one hand, looking to the sides. "Why are you laughing so hard?" A voice behind the camera asks, chuckling slightly. Mingi points to his left and the camera pans. Yunho's leaning against the wall, arms crossed. "What?"

"Hyung, can you tell him to stop? I have a vlog to film." Mingi says and the camera goes back to him. "I wasn't even doing anything?" Yunho says, and Mingi rolls his eyes. 

"You were acting funny. Anyway, I'm back in front of my room with Hwa-hyung! He's behind the cameras. Say hi, hyung!" Mingi excitedly says. "Hello, everyone." 

His voice sounds more clear now, no longer muffled, but a little quiet as he doesn't have a mic. Mingi smiles, satisfied. "Nothing much about my room changed, despite the redecoration. I didn't really have that much decor in the first place. Hwa-hyung helped me clean up and Yunho helped me with my setup, that's why he's also here." Yunho's head pops up in the frame and he gives a little wave. 

"I don't know if you guys know this but Hwa-hyung is obsessed with cleaning." 

"I can't stand it when it's dirty…"

"Yeah, so that's why our house is always clean. Except for Hongjoong-hyung's studio but we don't talk about that." Yunho says and Seonghwa groans at the mention of Hongjoong's studio. "Yes, please do not talk about that. I spent three days cleaning the papers scattered around, it was a mess." 

"Hongjoong-hyung got grounded for three days when Hwa-hyung cleaned it." 

"Enough with the cleaning talk, let's go inside!" Mingi opens the door to his room and the camera follows. What first greets you when you come inside is his bed. By the bedside table was a lamp and a few items, with a mirror next to the table. The streaming setup is by the far left corner of the room near the windows. The back of the computer is facing the windows, and the corkboard is hung on the left wall. 

There were fairy lights on the ceiling and his closet is in the right left corner. A display shelf was on the other side of the room, opposite of the streaming set up. It was filled with figurines and a few books. On top of it were picture frames and a few potted plants. 

"Tada~ Welcome to my room!" He says, posing a few times. He chuckled, knowing that he looks weird but Yunho immediately brings out his phone and tells him to pose again, taking a few pictures. 

Mingi checks out the photos and laughs, hitting Yunho on the arm a few times. Yunho looks at the camera with an exaggerated shocked face, pointing at Mingi then at his arm. 

"Before Yunho decides to distract me again I'll show you guys my setup first." He walks to his computer, Seonghwa following him. 

"Yunho was the one who set this up, right?" Mingi nods, moving his chair to the side.

There's a vertical monitor right next to his two normal ones and a mic clipped by the side of the table. A light stand is placed behind his monitor, right by the webcam. His PC is on the sides near the windows, and there's an audio mixer by his keyboard. It's overall a normal looking set up. 

"Mhm. Look at this cute coaster a fan sent me!" He picks up the yellow coaster from his table. There was a duck face in the middle. "I think they crocheted it themselves, I really like it." He chuckles, placing it down his table.

"And here's the corkboard I was talking about earlier!" Seonghwa pans the camera to the left, stepping back to show the whole thing. There were different kinds of fanarts pinned on the corkboard, and even a few polaroids of Mingi and other ATEEZ members. 

"Oh, it turned out really pretty!"

"Right? Hwa-hyung was the one who arranged the photos and the fanart."

"I had fun."

Mingi beams at him before walking to the shelf on the other side. "Oh this, this is actually really cool." He says, picking up an anime figurine. "It's a Star Guardian Ahri figure! I don't really play League, but a fan sent it to me to spite Yunho and Yeosang." 

"Really? What was his reaction? I wasn't here when you opened up fanmail." 

"Oh he was really jealous. This is the one he's been wanting to buy for ages." Yunho walks into the frame, slowly reaching out to the figure before Mingi moves it away. "No touching." 

"Mingi, please…" Yunho pouts and Mingi places it back to where it was before. "Get your own figurine."

They all come to an abrupt stop when they hear knocking. Seonghwa pans the camera to the door that's slowly opening, Hongjoong peeking his head inside. "Joong?"

Hongjoong smiles at them before opening the door fully and inviting himself in. The video pauses and there's a sudden voice over with subtitles. "Hey. I didn't cut this part out because Hongjoong-hyung hasn't been streaming in the past few weeks and I know all of you want to see him badly. I know, I'm so kind. You're welcome." Mingi's voice then disappears and the video continues. 

"What are you doing here, hyung?" Mingi asks. Hongjoong points at the man behind the cameras. "I'm gonna borrow Hwa for a while." 

"Going somewhere?" Hongjoong nods, and the screen turns black, with only the sounds of the camera being passed around heard. It's silent for a while, the four of them talking about something that's inaudible. A few seconds later, Mingi shouts, "Have fun! Buy me nacho chips and I'll love you two forever!" 

The black screen then disappears as the camera gets picked up and Yunho's face shows up. "Hey, I'm the new camera man~"

"Hey," Hongjoong greets, laying down on the bed next to his husband who's scrolling through his phone. "What are you doing?" Seonghwa smiles softly, showing his phone to Hongjoong. He props his head with his hand to get a better view.

"Mingi already posted the vlog?" Seonghwa hums, turning off his phone and putting it away to focus on their conversation. "The viewers are crying because of your appearance." Hongjoong chuckles.

"I'll have to say sorry to them when I get back to streaming. It's been a while, I feel bad for disappearing for so long." 

"Don't get sick next time and listen to your husband then, if you don't want this to happen again." Hongjoong gives him a sheepish smile, pulling Seonghwa closer to him. "Yes, I will listen to my lovely husband next time." 

Seonghwa rolls his eyes, pretending to be annoyed but the fond smile on his face betrays him. Hongjoong looks at him lovingly, leaning in for a quick peck on his lips. "You're cute." 

"Whatever you say." 

A comfortable silence follows as the two lay in bed, enjoying each other's company. 

"What did the viewers say about you? You were in the vlog too, right?" Seonghwa pauses, looking up at the ceiling as he recalls the tweets that he saw about him. "Hmm, they really liked that I liked cleaning. I saw a few tweets about it, saying that I'm probably the reason why our house is so clean. Well, they're not wrong because I am the reason." He chuckles, looking back at Hongjoong. 

The other finds his hands and starts playing with it. "What about your identity?" Seonghwa goes silent, thinking carefully. He really doesn't wanna reveal his face to everyone yet, especially since his identity as 'Hwa-hyung' has been well-received. It was the same with his identity as Mars. But this is the internet we're talking about. Of course there will always be people hating for absolutely no reason. It's one thing you can never avoid as a content creator. 

"I don't know yet, Joong. I'm still… scared. What if they don't like me? What if I don't meet their expectations?" 

Hongjoong pulls him to an embrace, wrapping an arm around his waist and holding him close. "It's okay, love. You can take your time. I'll always be here by your side." 

"I'm just scared that it'll happen again." Seonghwa sighs, sounding tired. Hongjoong frowns. All he wants to do right now is to take Seonghwa to a place far away from everyone and give him the love and happiness he deserves. Someone as kind and as wonderful as him doesn't deserve to feel things like this. Curse the internet for being an awful place.

He pulls back from the hug to leave a kiss on Seonghwa's lips once again. "I'll make sure it won't." He whispers, hugging him tightly. 

Hongjoong will make sure of that. 

Chapter Text

4.

"NO!" Wooyoung exclaims, slamming his head down the table and hitting it. Behind him, Yeosang does a victory dance, clenching his fists and hitting the air. "I won!" He yells and Wooyoung groans, moving his headphones off his head before sinking down his chair, almost out of the frame of the camera. 

"Told you I'd beat your ass." Yeosang comments, and Wooyoung's twitch chat starts spamming a bunch of emotes, most of them making fun of him. He rolled his eyes before sitting up properly and wearing his headphones. On his screen, the words 'Challenge Completed' were displayed. Below it, two out of three stars were lit up, and his rewards were shown. 

Him and Yeosang started a challenge of 'Who could beat Floor 12 of Spiral Abyss in Genshin Impact first?'. Yeosang won by a landslide when he finished with 7 minutes and 30 seconds left in the timer. Wooyoung ended up beating it a minute later, losing a star in the process. 

"It's not my fault my artifact luck is shitty as hell… This game has a stupid RNG system!" He says, glaring at his screen. Yeosang pulls his chair beside Wooyoung, his computer long forgotten. "Stop glaring at Kazuha, he did nothing wrong." He then turns to Yeosang, glaring at him, still annoyed at the fact that he lost. 

"What's my punishment?" He asks, gritting his teeth. Yeosang chuckles, before making a thinking face. Wooyoung sighs, putting his palms on his eyes and rubbing them vigorously. "Aha! Got it!" The other winces and puts his hands together, waiting for Yeosang to drop the bomb. 

"You need to cook two dishes for dinner tonight." 

There's a slight pause before Wooyoung reacts. He opens his eyes, blinks once, then twice, and looks at Yeosang. "That's it?"

He shakes his head. Wooyoung groans again, leaning back in his chair. "I should've known it wouldn't be that easy." 

"Oh, but it is easy though? I went easy on you too." 

"Shut up and tell me already." 

Yeosang moves Wooyoung's chair, facing the monitor. He opens up the inventory and goes to the food area. Wooyoung stares at him as he scrolls through the food Wooyoung had cooked for buffs and health recovery. He then pauses and clicks on a dish. 

"You're gonna be cooking a Sweet Madame!" He cheers, clicking on the Sweet Madame and feeding Kazuha a few, bringing him back to full health. 

"What about the other dish?" A Sweet Madame is too easy. Yeosang would never go this easy on him. Yeosang opens his mouth and Wooyoung feels like dying after hearing the next words that come out of it. "Golden Shrimp Balls." He then clicks on the food near the Sweet Madame, and there is the dish in its full glory.

"What the fuck, Yeosang, isn't that hard to make?" 

"Exactly."

"Chat, I'm afraid we're not gonna be eating dinner tonight." Wooyoung says, staring at the camera. Yeosang laughs before gently hitting him, moving his chair so Wooyoung can be seen. His live chat was cheering, some were thanking Yeosang for picking a hard dish while the others were asking for a cooking stream. He nods, reading the chat. "Yes, I'll be doing a cooking stream later, just so I can prove that I was the one who made it."

"...About the ingredients though, I'm not sure if we have everything in the pantry. Wait, I'll go ask Hwa-hyung." He takes off his headphones and leaves Yeosang with his stream, walking out the room while calling out for the older. "It's just you and me, chat." He says. 

There's silence for a few seconds until Yeosang whips his head to the side and Jongho comes into frame, walking over to Wooyoung's seat. Yeosang says nothing and watches as Jongho opens the character screen. 

"What are you doi—" His jaw drops to the floor when Jongho clicks on Kazuha's artifacts and the first one had 508 flat HP with no crit stats or em. He moved Jongho's hands off the mouse and clicked on the overall character stats. 

"He played Spiral Abyss Floor 12 with these shitty artifacts? What the fuck?" Jongho looks away and covers his mouth, obviously laughing. "Wooyoung, what the fuck!?" Yeosang shouts, quickly checking the other character's stats. Everyone had godly artifacts, and the only one with bad ones was Kazuha. He was lacking elemental mastery and while being used in a vaporize team comp. It was a horror.

"What, what is it? Why did you call me?" Wooyoung's voice could be heard as he entered the room. "Oh, hi Jongho. What's up—" He pauses upon noticing what's on his screen and his eyes widens. He looked at Yeosang, horror in his face. 

"Why are you looking at me like that? I had no idea you were even using these!" Yeosang exclaims, pointing at the screen. Wooyoung covers his mouth, mimicking the sounds of crying. "I forgot I had shitty artifacts on Kazuha…" 

"You didn't check before we started the challenge?" He shakes his head and Yeosang laughs in disbelief. "I cannot believe you." 

"The Kazuha slander. I'll never forget this." Jongho says and Wooyoung hits him in the shoulder. "I don't hate Kazuha! He's my favorite! I don't even know which character I gave his artifacts to. Oh god, I caused my own downfall." 

"Gotta get cooking, Woo~" Yeosang snickers and Wooyoung rolls his eyes at him. "Shut up." He faces the camera, waving his hands.

"Alright chat, I have to go get ready for cooking so the stream's gonna end early today. I'll be back later though, so goodbye!" 

"Bye!"

it really is hard to cook, I tried it once while watching a tutorial and got a sloppy potato mess 😭

It's been a few hours but Wooyoung's cooking stream finally arrives. It's titled 'we are not gonna be eating dinner tonight' with Wooyoung in the kitchen on the thumbnail. 

"Hey, chat." He greets, leaning on the island counter in front of him. There were a variety of ingredients on top, but the most noticeable ones were the whole chicken and the big bowl of prawns. Behind him was the stove and oven, connected to a counter with a sink and a refrigerator by the side. 

"I was going to start the stream when the challenge ended, but it turned out that we were in fact, missing some of the ingredients. So I dragged Hwa-hyung to the store with me! We had to buy a whole chicken and prawns." He says, pointing at the two side by side. "Hwa-hyung's also gonna be cooking! He's on the other island behind the cameras with an electric stove. What I'm gonna cook isn't enough to feed eight men so he's also going to make dinner." 

Wooyoung puts his phone to the sides, away from all the ingredients as he makes space in the middle. He leaves the prawns to the sides and places the chicken in the middle. "I'll start working on the Sweet Madame. You guys can continue sending messages, I'll read through my phone. Though, I'm sorry in advance if I suddenly stop talking in the middle of cooking." 

He takes a knife, making two incisions by the wings to remove the wishbone. "Actually, quick backstory while I'm preparing the chicken. I had to go and wake Hongjoong-hyung up to get his wallet." He says, chuckling. He pauses to put force and fully remove the bone from chicken, making cuts if needed. "Oh, here we go," He says, pulling out a small v-shaped bone. 

"So as I was saying, we used Hongjoong-hyung's card to buy groceries. And he wasn't even mad. He just wanted us to stop bothering him so he can go back to sleep." 

"It's for our food anyway. He'll eat too, I'm sure he doesn't mind."

Wooyoung snorts, moving the chicken, the wings now facing him. He twists the bone by the drumette, taking a knife as he cuts in between the joints and removes it. He does the same with the other wing, putting them both aside. He then takes some salt and pepper, spreading it around the chicken, covering every inch. 

"Oh, did you guys know?" 

Wooyoung looks up from what he's doing and tilts his head at Seonghwa who's behind the cameras. 

"Wooyoung made me go inside the store all alone. He stayed in the car, watching tutorial videos. I was kind enough to offer to go with him and he treated me like that?"

Seonghwa scoffs in disbelief as Wooyoung starts laughing. "Hey, I had a good reason!"

"No you didn't. You already watched the videos to list down the ingredients!" 

"I had to watch again to perfect the dish!" 

"I'm never coming with you to the store again." 

Wooyoung gasps dramatically. Seonghwa only laughs at him, going back to what he was doing, ignoring the younger.

Wooyoung pushes the chicken aside and takes a lemon. He starts poking it with a knife on all sides. "Hey, do you think if I poke enough holes in this lemon and let Jongho squeeze it, all the juice will come out?" He looks to his left, waiting for an answer. 

"Definitely." Yeosang says from across the room and Wooyoung's eyes move to another person. "No, I will not be squeezing all the juice out of that lemon for you." Jongho answers, and Wooyoung frowns at him. 

After poking the lemon a bunch of times, he takes the chicken and stuffs the lemon inside with some thyme. He opens a cabinet from behind, pulling out some butcher's twine. His eyes travel the area, as if looking for something. "Hey hyung, do you have the scissors?" 

"Scissors? Yeah, I do. Do you need it?" 

Wooyoung nods, walking closer but Seonghwa starts moving first. His hands enter the frame, reaching out to give Wooyoung the scissors. The younger accepts, mumbling a small thank you under his breath as he walks back behind the counter. He cuts the butcher's twine, tying it around the chicken. The legs and tail are tied together, trapping the lemon and thyme stuffed inside.

"There!" He exclaims, smiling proudly at his work. He washes his hands and looks at his phone, reading the twitch chat that's going insane. 

"Wait, why are you guys panicking? What happened? 'Hwa-hyung', okay, what about him? His hands? What about his hands?" He asks, looking at his hyung behind the camera. It's silent for a few minutes until Yeosang's voice echoes through the kitchen. 

"Hyung, I think you accidentally showed your hands when you gave Wooyoung the scissors." 

Everyone goes silent. 

Wooyoung slaps a hand over his mouth. Realization dawned on him. He looks at Seonghwa, horrified. "Oh god." Jongho says, panic evident in his voice. 

Wooyoung removes the mic clipped on his shirt before running to the camera, turning it off. The stream is left with a black screen, and no one could hear anything.

Behind the cameras, Yeosang, Jongho, and Wooyoung are huddled all over their hyung who's frozen in his spot. 

"Hyung, I'm so sorry. I should've just gone over and gotten the scissors from you." Wooyoung says, worry painted all over his face. Jongho places a hand on Seonghwa's shoulders, squeezing it. "Are you okay, hyung? We can end the stream if you want. I'm sure Wooyoung's viewers won't mind." 

That seems to snap Seonghwa out of his trance as he shakes his head. "N-No. It's alright, guys. It's just… my hands." He says, giving the three around him a small smile. "But…" Yeosang frowns, eyes going back and forth from Seonghwa's face to his hands. 

"Are you sure?" 

"Yeah, it's alright. We can continue the stream. Besides, things like these are inevitable. I'll… I'll be showing my face in the future anyway…" He looks at the three of them before chuckling. "Stop frowning, guys. I'm okay."

Wooyoung sighs before nodding. "Fine. But if I catch sight of even the slightest bit of discomfort on your face once I turn the cameras back on, I will immediately stop the stream." Yeosang nods at that. 

"Right. Your well-being is more important to us than upsetting the viewers. If you need anything, hyung, just tell us." He adds. Seonghwa smiles at all of them before nodding. 

The camera turns back on and Wooyoung is seen trying to clip his mic back to his shirt. Yeosang goes over and helps him, waving at the camera before leaving. 

"Hey guys. Sorry about that." Wooyoung smiles sheepishly at the camera. He looks at his now worried twitch chat before laughing slightly. "... 'What was that?' Nothing. Everything's alright." He says, washing his hands, ignoring his twitch chat that's exploding. There's an awkward silence lingering around as Wooyoung goes back to work.

He takes a clean rack and places it over a baking pan. He places the chicken on top before turning around to open the oven. He places the chicken inside. "So.. that's going to cook for 45 minutes at 350°F. While that's cooking, I'm gonna start working on the glaze. My back will be facing you guys, so I'm sorry in advance."

Wooyoung pulls out a saucepan, placing it on the stove behind him. In the saucepan, he adds 2 tablespoons of lemon juice (unfortunately not squeezed by Jongho since it was store brought), 1 tablespoon of soy sauce, a quarter cup of honey, and one tablespoon of brown sugar. He brings it to a boil, letting the sauce reduce to a glaze, but still a little liquidy. He sets it aside.

"Alrighty! Since that's done, I'm gonna need to start working on the next dish." He takes the bowl of prawns and moves to the sink, removing the shells from each one. He runs the prawns through water before taking a small knife and cutting a small incision by the back. He starts to devein each one, putting them in a separate bowl before running the bowl through water. 

"Why are you using prawns instead of shrimp? Isn't it called Golden Shrimp Balls?" Yeosang asks, chuckling lightly. Wooyoung stops and turns to glare at him, rolling his eyes before going back to work. "Shut up Yeosang. You're not the one cooking." That earns him a laugh from the other. 

"But I'm the one eating?"

He ignores Yeosang and starts making the marinade for the prawns. He sliced a piece of ginger, crushed two cloves of garlic, cut a bunch of green onions, and set them aside. He took the bowl of prawns and seasoned it with salt and pepper, adding a cup of some sort of cooking wine and a quarter cup of rice wine vinegar. He added the sliced ginger, crushed garlic and the green onions and mixed them with his hands. 

"That's gonna marinate for 15 minutes. I'll be preparing the potatoes then." 

It's still awkwardly silent, with Yeosang cutting the silence a few times with comments here and there. Seonghwa still hasn't talked, and it's making the three anxious. 

Wooyoung tries his best to ignore the silence as he takes a pot and adds water in it, placing it on top of the stove. He cranks the heat up and focuses on peeling the potatoes. After a few minutes of peeling, he sets a few potatoes aside before cutting the remaining ones into small cubes. Once the water boils, he adds in the potatoes and leaves it there until it's tender and can be crushed by a fork. He takes another pot and also adds water, placing it right next to the already boiling one and cranking up the heat. 

"Hwa-hyung, I think I've gotten better than you at fishing in Animal Crossing." Jongho suddenly says, and Wooyoung whips his head to look at him. He looks back at Seonghwa who had an unreadable look on his face. "In your dreams, Jongho."

Wooyoung breaks into a smile. He turns back to the other potatoes he set aside, taking out a mandolin from one of the drawers and slicing the peeled potatoes thinly. The conversation of the youngest and the oldest continues. 

"But you haven't been playing a lot recently. I've been playing a lot."

"I'm still better, though?"

"How is that an argument?"

Wooyoung stops, laughing at the two of them. "You guys are a bunch of children." 

"You're younger than me, Wooyoung. It may be true for Jongho, though." 

"Hey!"

Wooyoung focuses back on what he's doing, walking to the fridge to get some cold water and putting some in an empty bowl. He continues to slice the potatoes thinly, and once they're all done, he lines them up and cuts them into strips. He then turns to the stove, taking the potato strips and dunking them into the empty pot of boiling water. He takes them out after 30 seconds, putting them in cold water and turning off the heat.

"Hyung, what are you cooking?" Yeosang voice cuts through Wooyoung's focused thoughts. He turns around and finds the other standing near Seonghwa, looking over his shoulder. 

"Wooyoung said earlier in the car that he was craving kimchi jjigae, so I'm making some. And I originally planned to cook spicy stir-fried pork for dinner, so here it is." 

"What's with the peas?" It's Jongho who asks this time, and Seonghwa smiles before looking at Wooyoung. "I promised Wooyoung that I'd help him a little. The peas are for the Sweet Madames."

Yeosang looks at Wooyoung, betrayal painted all over his face. "You never said it wasn't allowed~" Wooyoung sings and laughs when Yeosang gives him the middle finger.

"I'm definitely Hwa-hyung's favorite child." Wooyoung says with a shit-eating grin. Both Jongho and Yeosang glared at him. 

"I have no favorite child."

"Yeah, sure" Wooyoung rolled his eyes at him, not believing a single word that came out of his mouth. Just then, the oven dings and Wooyoung takes a thick cloth. He opens the stove, taking out the chicken. He grabs the glaze that he set aside earlier and takes a cooking brush. "Hell, whoever is in charge of washing the dishes tonight is gonna be suffering." Jongho snorts before answering. 

"It's Yunho-hyung." 

Wooyoung laughs, brushing the whole chicken with the glaze before putting back the oven to continue cooking for another 45 minutes. He takes a fork and a ladle, moving over to the pot with boiling water. He scoops out a single potato cube, draining the water before poking it with a fork. The fork stabs through easily and Wooyoung smiles as he turns off the heat, scooping out the rest of the potato cubes and placing them in a bowl. He turns to the island, placing the bowl there, now facing the camera. He starts mashing the potatoes. Once they're all mashed, he adds in a quarter cup of potato starch, salt and pepper. He mixed it together, forming some sort of a potato dough. 

He takes the prawns out of the marinade. "Okay, fuck. Here comes the hard part. I don't wanna do this at all." He sighs, glaring at Yeosang who snickers. 

Wooyoung takes a small ball of the mashed potatoes, pressing it flat on his hands. He places the prawns in the middle before wrapping the potato around it, forming a ball. He leaves the tail of the prawn exposed, patting the ball to make sure it doesn't break. He smiles proudly, moving to the camera to show his viewers what he made. 

"I did it! Fuck Kang Yeosang!" 

He walks back to his place, making a few more balls until he's out of prawns and mashed potatoes. Wooyoung takes a tray and places all the shrimp balls (technically prawn balls) into the tray, moving to the fridge. He opens the freezer with one hand while balancing the tray on the other, before placing it inside. "That's gonna be there for… around 10 minutes. Just enough for the mashed potatoes to harden. Okay, chat. I have 10 minutes of free time. We should talk. I've been so quiet, it feels weird."

"Let's see… Oh, yes. Hwa-hyung is… He's okay." Wooyoung says, looking up from his phone to Seonghwa. Seonghwa smiles at him.

"I'm alright. What's with the question?" 

"Erm, people are worried about the accidental hand reveal earlier…" He says hesitantly. Seonghwa chuckles.

"Yes, I am alright. That was indeed an accident, but it was bound to happen anyway, since everyone around me works with cameras." 

Wooyoung smiles and goes back to reading his chat. The smile on his face is immediately wiped off. "Chat, please stop asking me why I'm using prawns instead of shrimp." 

Yeosang's laugh could be heard across the room and Wooyoung glared at him for what felt like the hundredth time today. 

"They're right, though? It's no longer Golden Shrimp Balls. It's Golden Prawn Balls." 

"Seriously, Yeosang?"

Wooyoung takes the tray out of the freezer, placing it on the island as he takes another cooking brush. He already had an egg wash ready, and the potato strips are next to it. He cleaned his hands first before taking a shrimp ball. He brushes the ball with egg wash before placing the potato strips above, patting it lightly to make it stick. He does the same with the rest until they're all covered with the strips. 

Behind him on the stove, there's a pot of cold cooking oil. He turns around and takes out a tong from one of the drawers. Wooyoung gently picks up one of the shrimp balls with the tong and places it in the pot. He places a few more until the pot is filled and cranks up the heat. The oil soon sizzles, and after a few minutes, he starts to move them a bit. Once all cooked and golden brown, he takes them out of the oil and places them in a plate with cooking tissues to catch the excess oil. He does the same with the second batch, and he's left with the finished product.

Wooyoung shows the plate to the camera with a wide smile. "Tada~! Golden Shrimp Balls are finished! It looks great!" He places the plate back down and the oven dings again. He walks over excitedly while holding a thick cloth, wearing one on his hand. He opens the oven and the aroma of the roasted chicken fills the entire kitchen.

"That smells good, Woo!" 

Seonghwa exclaims. Wooyoung cheers while pulling out the pan, turning around to show the camera. "It looks exactly like the one in Genshin. I'm an expert at this." He says, smiling proudly.

"All that's left is plating. The peas are done. You can come get them"

Wooyoung walks over to the other island, taking the pan of sautéed peas from Seonghwa. He walks back and clears a small space on top of the island, moving away the trash and the utensils he used for cooking. "Okay, but the chicken needs to rest for a few more minutes. I'll plate the shrimp balls first." 

He takes out a clean plate from a drawer beneath the counter and places it on top of the island. He takes a few pieces of basil leaves that were stacked by the corner and circles it around the plate, with the stems in the center. Then, he gently picks up one of the shrimp balls, placing it in between two leaves. He does the same with the rest until he's got a plate filled with 8 golden shrimp balls. 

"I'm too lazy to plate the remaining shrimp balls so they'll stay there." He picks up the plate, tilting it slightly to show the camera the end results. It looked pretty similar to the in game version, only missing the flower in the middle. 

"You failed the punishment challenge, Woo. There's no flower in the middle and you used prawns instead of shrimp." 

"When are you going to let that fact go?" Wooyoung asks, exasperated. He only receives Yeosang's laugh. "And there's no flower because we're gonna be eating it." 

"It looks pretty good. Mouthwatering." 

"Hwa-hyung is the only bitch I can trust in this household."

"First off, I'm not a bitch. Second, do you not trust Sannie?"

"Of course I do! But Sannie's not a bitch."

"So I'm a bitch?"

Wooyoung giggles, ignoring the look of disbelief on Seonghwa's face as he sets the dish aside, now focusing on the chicken. "The chicken's all good now. And like… I need to remove the lemon stuffed inside." He grabs a pair of scissors and cuts the twine tying the tail with the legs. He then takes a tong and squeezes the lemon out of the chicken. 

"Are you gonna put that away?" Jongho asks and he shakes his head. "Nah, I'll use it for plating." 

He gets another clean plate and starts scooping out the peas that Seonghwa had sautéed. He spreads them on the plate, creating a pea bed for the chicken. After that, he places the chicken on top and surrounds it with the remaining peas. He grabs the lemon, placing it on the sides along with two jalapeños. 

There's a few moments of silence when Wooyoung steps back, looking at the dish that he just made.

"I DID IT!"

"You did it!"

Wooyoung starts clapping, jumping a few times. "It looks amazing!" He says, picking the plate up and walking to the camera to show the viewers the result. Yeosang walks up to the island, also picking up the shrimp balls. He walks towards the camera, tilting the plate slightly. 

"It's picture time!" He exclaims, giggling. 

"Wow, that does look amazing." Jongho comments, peeking through the sides. The two then bring the plates back to the island counter. "Yeah, because I know how to cook. See, if this was Hongjoong-hyung in my place, the whole house would've been burnt to ashes."

"As if I'd even let him take a single step in the kitchen."

"I don't know how Hwa-hyung manages to control Hongjoong-hyung, but he does. Anyway! There isn't going to be a taste test, sadly. Because if we eat any of these before dinner, it'll be long gone. I'm serious." He says, chuckling lightly. 

"It's dinner time in a few minutes anyway. I already finished cooking."

"Oh yeah, I forgot! Hyung, your food smells amazing." Seonghwa chuckles. 

"Unfortunately, I'm gonna be ending the stream now. I'm tired, hungry, it's time for dinner and Hwa-hyung also cooked kimchi jjigae. So I'll be going now." Wooyoung waves at the cameras. Yeosang does the same and Jongho's head pops out by the sides, saying goodbye. 

"Bye everyone, I hope you all enjoyed watching Wooyo cook!" 

"BYE BYE~!"

The stream ends with a black screen.

"Woo, baby, you did so well!" San exclaims, looking at the dinner table. He runs to Wooyoung, hugging him. Wooyoung wholeheartedly accepts. "Thank you Sannie~" 

Across the table, Yeosang pretends to gag while Yunho pats his back. Jongho grimaces, giving them a disgusted look as he places the silverware on the table.

Mingi arrives at the dining area from upstairs, his eyes widening when he sees the dinner table. "Oh damn, these look really good." He says and Wooyoung smiles proudly.

Seonghwa looks at them fondly from the kitchen, leaning against the counter with his arms crossed. A hand creeps up to his waist and he turns his head to find his husband, smiling at him. "Aren't you gonna join them?" Hongjoong asks, raising his eyebrows. 

"In a minute."

Hongjoong settles next to him, arm still wrapped around his waist. He looks at the dining area where all the rest are, bickering and making fun of each other. Wooyoung was clinging onto San, sticking his tongue out at Yeosang who's rolling his eyes in response. Yunho and Mingi were already sitting down, watching the two. Jongho sighed at the sight and walked to the kitchen, finding the couple there. 

"The table's already set. Let's go." Jongho gestures for them to follow as he walks back to the table, sitting down next to Yeosang. 

Hongjoong looks at Seonghwa who's still staring at them. "I saw what happened in the stream today." That makes the older turn his head at him. Hongjoong tilts his head, staring into Seonghwa's eyes. "Are you really okay?" 

His gaze is intense, and Seonghwa can't miss the worry that's written all over his face. He nods, smiling reassuringly. "I'm fine, Joong. I really am. I…" He pauses, finding the proper words to describe what he wants to say. He looks back at the others who are now chatting peacefully, waiting for the two. 

"The viewers seemed to really like it. And the kids have been really happy lately, ever since I started showing up in their streams. I can tell they've been wanting to introduce me to their viewers for ages now. So I…" Seonghwa looks back at him, looking hesitant. Hongjoong stares back at him, confused.

"You…?" 

Seonghwa takes a deep breath before opening his mouth. 

"Finally! The lovebirds are here. Are you two done flirting with each other?" Wooyoung exclaims once the two arrive at the dining table. "Thank god the food still hasn't gotten cold." He says, glaring daggers into the married couple. 

"Don't be dramatic, Woo. It's only been a few minutes. We can start eating now." Seonghwa says, pulling out a chair right across Yunho. Hongjoong sits right next to him. 

"What did you two even talk about?" Yunho asks, his eyes following Wooyoung's hands as he gives everyone a shrimp ball.

Hongjoong smiles, looking at Seonghwa. 

"Well,"

5.

"What do you wanna do?" 

Seonghwa hums, looking around the room to try and think of an answer. What does he want to do? Really, he has no idea. He hasn't been streaming for almost nine months now, and even then, the only games he played were relaxing ones. Animal Crossing, Stardew Valley, Minecraft, games like that. He's not the type to play intense and competitive games like League or Valorant. 

In short, he doesn't know what to answer Yeosang. "You don't know what to play, don't you?" Seonghwa nods, a bit bummed. 

"You should play a horror game." Jongho suggests, scrolling through his phone. Yeosang whips his head at him, glaring. Jongho turns, tilting his head. "Hm, what do you mean by that, Jongho?" He asks, gritting his teeth and smiling menacingly. Jongho gulps. 

"Yeah, nevermind."

"You know, that's actually a great idea." The brunette looked at Seonghwa, eyes wide. "Pardon?" 

"We should play a horror game!" 

So that's how Yeosang found himself sitting in front of his computer, webcam on with over thirty-thousand viewers, opening up a Five Nights at Freddy's game. 

"Jongho, I really don't wanna do this." Yeosang sighs, mouse hovering over the play button above the options and the exit. Jongho is right next to him, leaning down his chair as he watches Yeosang hesitate for the tenth time. "Just click the play button already. It's not like there's an immediate jumpscare right at the start of the game." 

Yeosang clicks his tongue and Jongho pats his back. "Why did I even agree to this?" He says before clicking the play button. His whole screen turns to black. A warning appears on the screen and Yeosang squeezes his eyes shut, groaning. The game suddenly starts playing a song and he flinches, eyes widening as he looks at the screen. Jongho laughs at him.

"Because you love Hwa-hyung?"

Yeosang turns around in the dark room, supposedly looking at a figure sitting down a bean bag and watching them. Yeosang's entire room was dark and the only light source was his computer monitor. Seonghwa was humming, watching him play peacefully. "Hyung, is it too late to back out?" 

"I mean, we can play Stardew instead."

He hovers his fingers over the escape button on his keyboard, but before he could press it, Jongho catches his hands. "No can do." Yeosang groans, covering his face with both hands. "Hey, it wasn't me who promised Hwa-hyung that I'd be playing this game." Jongho argues and it only makes Yeosang's misery worsen.

"That's part of the problem. It should've been you. Why didn't you do it?" 

"Are you serious?"

"No."

"Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls! Fazbear Entertainment would like you to put your hands together, for the one, the only, Freddy Fazbear—" 

"No!" He says to the screen.

Jongho chuckles, finding Yeosang's reactions funny. "Jongho, it's not funny!" 

It's not that Yeosang is easily scared or hates horror games, it's just that he was not in the mood to play any. He woke up today thinking that he was going to waste another 8 hours of his life playing ranked League, but then Seonghwa came up to him and told him he wanted to join the stream. And who was he to decline when Seonghwa looked so excited? He was more than delighted to have his precious hyung join his stream. 

Ever since that cooking stream with Wooyoung, Seonghwa has been really eager to join some of their streams. When they had talked about it at the dinner table, the older expressed that he wanted to 'test the waters'. 

He wanted to see if the viewers truly liked him, to see if they wouldn't hate him or judge him for what he shows to the public. Needless to say, everyone in that dining table had cried out happy tears, delighted that their hyung is willing to try again. 

It was nice to see him open up again, be more willing to try things, be more willing to be himself again. Yeosang already knows that their viewers will be nothing but accepting. Hell, they heard his voice once and fell in love immediately. 

"Fuck, okay so what do I have to do?" He says, panicking as soon as he's out of Freddy's chest. He fumbles with the unfamiliar controls and waits for Jongho to answer. "Just follow the instructions." He nods. Freddy starts a long dialogue and soon, Yeosang's attention is on his twitch chat. 

"You're not listening to Freddy anymore, aren't you?" He snaps his head to Jongho who was staring with a disappointed face. 

"He definitely wasn't paying attention."

"Chat, stop distracting me." He says, a small smile creeping up his face. Blaming his twitch chat was the easy way out, because Jongho was definitely going to scold him. "I'm not going to answer your questions later on, Yeosang-hyung."

Yeosang had specifically asked Jongho to stay with him while playing for a variety of reasons. Jongho was an expert at horror games. He posts a lot of playthrough commentary videos on his channel, playing different kinds of horror games and so on. He got extremely popular because of the fact that he was unfazed by the jumpscares. 

"There is an open air vent inside the maintenance room." Freddy's voice echoes through his ears and he starts walking his character, jumping up boxes to get inside a vent. Yeosang had no idea what was going on. 

A female robotic voice starts speaking as he walks through the vents and he stops, looking at Jongho. Before he could ask, the other had already started talking. "No, there is no jumpscare. Not yet." 

"Not yet?" 

"How could you be so bad at horror games?" 

Yeosang shoots Seonghwa a glare, the older chuckling. "Please, I literally hate this so much." 

"You just need to go through the vents, Yeosangie. It'll drop you to the lobby of the pizzaplex and you need to get the photo pass. The photo pass will allow you to release Freddy from his room. Then you can go back inside his chest and walk around. No one will attack you inside of him." 

Jongho blinks a few times before turning his head to look at Seonghwa. "Okay, why did you have to say all that?" 

"You might find it funny seeing Yeosang suffer but I actually feel bad because I'm the reason he's stuck here playing this game." 

Yeosang cheers, ignoring the annoyed look on Jongho's face as he follows what Seonghwa said. He looks at his twitch chat, seeing a wall of 'awww's and chuckling. "Hwa-hyung, the viewers are saying that you're so sweet." 

"Aw, really? Thank you~"

"Are you sure there are no jumpscares here?" Yeosang asks, looking around the gloomy place and finding discarded pieces of Mop Bots scattered around the area. He then walks inside the protective cylinder. Freddy is laid out in what looks like a dentist chair and there was a machine hooked up to his head.

He had managed to get through a small chunk of the game, despite being a bit scared and dying a few times. Jongho had been helpful, telling him where to go and what to do when he gets lost because of not listening to the instructions. He's now in the part where he needs to upgrade Freddy's body parts.

"Well, there is. But it'll only happen when you mess up." Yeosang pauses again, to look at him. Jongho gives him a small smile. "Relax. The minigame is pretty easy." 

"Could you… re-attach my head?" Freddy says awkwardly. Yeosang bites his lower lip, waiting for the dialogue to be finished. "Just… reconnect the wires… and be careful. I am not quite myself at the moment." 

"Okay, what the fuck did that mean?"

Behind them, Seonghwa is still seated on the bean bag, smiling at the two. He takes out his phone, checking if he's out of the frame in Yeosang's stream. After making sure he's out of frame, he opens twitter and finds himself smiling at the tweets about the two who are playing in front of him right now. He scrolls for a few more minutes until his comfortable silence is cut short as Yeosang yelps. 

He looks up to find the boy hiding his head behind a Jongho who's shaking in laughter. "How did you manage to mess that up?" The younger asks, still laughing. Yeosang his hiding behind his shoulders, face buried down Jongho's seat. "I have no idea what I did wrong." 

He slowly raised his head up, hands covering his face as he looked at the camera. Yeosang's screen is static, and soon, a big 'Game Over' showed up in the middle. "Chat, that was not me. I don't get scared easily. I did that for show." Soon, Seonghwa finds himself laughing too, finding the two of them adorable. 

"You totally did. Chat, please clip that. Post it on twitter and tag me."

"No—! Chat, don't listen to him!"

"Hyung, Jongho isn't really helping anymore. He's just— laughing at me. Look at him. He's enjoying my suffering." He points an accusing finger at Jongho who looks unfazed by his accusations. Seonghwa laughs at the two of them, putting his phone away. "And my twitch chat is siding with him… My viewers are a bunch of traitors…" He says, glaring at his other monitor which was showing his twitch chat. 

"They're spamming a bunch of emotes."

"Yeah, because they're all bots." Yeosang rolls his eyes, watching as Seonghwa stands up. "Where are you going?" He asks. Seonghwa smiles, leaving his phone by the bean bag. 

"I'll get snacks. You've been streaming for a few hours now. Want anything in particular?" 

Yeosang's face brightens as he nods, listing down the list of snacks that he's currently craving. Jongho does the same and gives Seonghwa a quick thank you.

"And no, Yeosang-hyung. I'm not enjoying your suffering. You aren't listening and this is punishment…" He hears Jongho saying as he walks out of Yeosang's room, closing the door behind him. He squinted as he stepped outside, the bright lights of the hallway hitting his eyes. 

He starts walking downstairs, moving to the kitchen and recalling the snacks that the two had requested. He opened the fridge, looking for the specific drinks that they wanted, while also picking up strawberry milk for himself. 

A pair of hands find their way around his waist and he smiles, feeling the warmth of another person's body behind him. "Mhm, you smell nice." Hongjoong says, burying his face on Seonghwa's back. The older chuckles at his husband's antics, placing the snacks that he was holding down the counter and unwrapping Hongjoong's hands around him. 

"Good morning, love." He greets, turning around to face the other. Just as he's expected, Hongjoong is still sleepy, rubbing his eyes. He smiles dumbly before replying. "Is it still morning?" 

Seonghwa chuckles, shaking his head although the other couldn't see. "It's noon. How's your sleep?" He reaches out to a cupboard, taking a small glass and passing it to Hongjoong. Hongjoong accepts and Seonghwa moves out of the way as the smaller opens the fridge.

"Good. I think I'll be able to stream in a few days." Seonghwa closes the fridge as Hongjoong takes out a pitcher filled with cold water. He pours some in a cup and drinks it. "I have no idea what kind of virus I caught, but I hope I'll never get it again." He says, chuckling as he places the cup down. 

It's been over a month since Seonghwa accidentally revealed himself in Yunho's stream. Ten days before that, Hongjoong had caught a virus while he was out and proceeded to be bedridden for for the next 3 weeks. When Wooyoung and Sannie's Minecraft stream occurred, he was still sick. After a day though, he got a bit better and that's when Mingi filmed his vlog. He was getting better and better the past two weeks but Seonghwa had strictly prohibited him from doing any work until he's well and all. 

"I hope so too." He smiles then picks up the snacks he'd place on the counter earlier. "Ah, I have to go back now. Yeosang and Jongho are waiting." 

"Let me help then." Hongjoong says, taking a few snacks out of Seonghwa's arms. Seonghwa watches as he starts walking, following soon after. "I was watching the stream when I woke up." He adds and Seonghwa tilts his head. 

"The viewers really are loving you. When you said you were getting snacks, everyone was spamming 'aww's and emotes. The reactions on twitter are fun too. They love the fact that you care so much about the kids." He says, smiling fondly as he recalls the reactions that he saw. "I think you even stole some of my fans." He chuckles, causing Seonghwa to do the same. 

"I'm… I'm glad." He says, sighing softly. He's been in a daze for the past few weeks, as it felt unreal that people were actually liking his image. Hearing it come out from Hongjoong's mouth had made him realize that it was actually real. That he wasn't dreaming. People actually liked him for who he was. He felt relieved. 

Once they reach Yeosang's room, Hongjoong knocks on the door with his free hand before opening it. 

"Hey, hyung. Welcome ba— Oh, Hongjoong-hyung!" Yeosang exclaims, pausing in the middle of the pizzaplex and turning around to greet Hongjoong. He walks into frame and gives Yeosang and Jongho the snacks, also grabbing the others on Seonghwa's hands. 

"Hey," He says. Seonghwa watches with a fond smile, walking back to his bean bag and sitting down. "How's trying to escape from the pizzaplex going?" 

"Not good. So not good." 

"That's because you keep getting distracted."

"You keep distracting me!" Yeosang says, burying his face into his hands. Jongho raises an eyebrow at him. "How am I distracting you?"

"You're distracting him by sitting there and looking pretty." 

Jongho freezes in his spot, surprised and flushed. Yeosang looks away, trying to distract himself by looking at his twitch chat and failing miserably. Hongjoong laughs at them, walking back to Seonghwa and sitting on the floor, resting his head on Seonghwa's legs. 

"You two are insufferable." He says, amused. Yeosang clears his throat, trying to get back into the game. "Ehem.. A-Anyway…" 

Seonghwa bursts out laughing at their awkwardness. He might just get used to this.

It's almost 5 PM when Hongjoong sets up his webcam on the table, moving it slightly farther away so his upper body could be seen. He clips his mic on the sides of his table, adjusting it to fit the height of his mouth when he's gonna be sitting down. He sets up his phone, getting ready to start the live. He's currently sitting on a chair right next to the bedside table. His bed is behind him and there's one lamp open on the other side.

He's a bit nervous. It's been a month since he last did something like this, so it's to be expected, but he doesn't like the feeling. He opens up a drawer by the sides, taking out a small mirror and checking his appearance. He moves a few strands of hair away from his face, fixing his bangs and checking if he looks presentable. His hair is dyed pink, slightly matching his beige shirt with the lighting in the area, and he's wearing a few piercings and rings. 

He puts the mirror back in the drawer, taking a deep breath and facing the camera. 

His fingers hover over the 'start streaming' button, slightly shaking. With a deep breath, he presses the button, starting his stream at exactly 5 PM.

There's a few seconds of silence with him waiting for the viewers to come in. He looks over at his phone laying on the table, seeing if the camera is centered or if he could be seen in the stream properly. A minute of silence has passed and there's now over five thousand people watching his stream.

"Hey everyone~!" 

Hongjoong says with a big smile, waving at the camera. "I won't be doing too much today. It's just going to be a catch up stream. I missed out a lot." He says, running a hand through his hair as he picks up his phone. 

"Why are you guys crying in the chat? Don't cry." He laughs, covering his mouth with one hand as he stares into his twitch chat— that is currently a wall of crying emojis. 

" It's just that we missed you so much' ? I'm sorry for being gone for so long. I promise I'll never catch a virus again." 

It's silent for a while with only him reading the live chat. There's thousands of people watching his stream, the number slowly going up and up as he continues to talk.

" How have you been?' I've been well. Feeling a lot better now… What was I doing the past few weeks other than resting? Nothing really. I was just hanging around and sleeping a lot. Taking meds and looking over the others. There isn't much that you guys missed." Hongjoong props his head up, resting his elbows on the table, staring at his twitch chat.

" What do you mean there's nothing much we missed when you have another hair color?'... Hey, that's nothing new! You guys knew I had red hair for weeks now. It faded into pink!" He chuckled, ruffling his hair. He'd dyed his hair a bright red a month before, and his viewers loved it. It started fading when he got sick and has now become a pretty pastel pink color. 

" You're wearing new piercings' ? Yeah, I am. Aren't they pretty? This one in particular is my favorite." He pointed at his right ear which held a flower earring. It was orange with hints of gold in the outlines. It looked like the kind that would have another pair to match with the other ear, but he was only wearing one. 

"Yeah, it does have another pair. But I'm not wearing it."

A couple more minutes passed with Hongjoong answering the questions his viewers were dropping in the live chat. Some of them were asking if he's planning on streaming in the next few days, if there's some major updates on the house, or if there was content coming soon. He answered them happily, delighted that his viewers were so happy about him streaming again.

Others were asking about how the other members were doing, and he was more than delighted to tell everyone that they've been all doing great. Too great, really. Everyone had a shit ton of energy that Hongjoong started wondering where they've been getting it from. The others have been too hyper. 

Though, there were multiple questions that got his attention. And those questions were specifically about his husband.

"Where did I go after I borrowed Hwa in Mingi's vlog? Oh, we went to the doctor for an update on my condition." He says, a big smile creeping up his face at the mention of his husband. 

"Speaking of Hwa, yes, we are very close. It's natural since we're the same age. And he's also been my only friend with the same age, so we're comfortable with each other. 'How long have you guys known each other'? I know Hwa mentioned this a few streams ago, but almost 10 years, I think?" He chuckles, a soft and fond look on his face. 

"It differs with other members, yes."

"The rings I'm wearing are pretty? I always wear these rings though… But thank you. I like wearing them a lot." He chuckles, then moves his hands close to the camera, showing off his rings. One of them is a wedding ring, but of course, his viewers don't need to know that yet.

It's been almost an hour and a half since he started the stream. The viewer count is still going up every ten minutes. His viewers had dozens of questions. There were also a lot of topics that he talked about. It's been a pretty chill stream and he's been enjoying it so far. It was always fun to converse with his viewers like this, but it honestly seems like he's forgotten about it. This stream is refreshing his mind.

"Hmm… For what I'll be doing after the stream, I'll be washing up." He answers another question from the chat. His twitch mods had turned on the slow mode because the amount of messages were too overwhelming to handle, and they couldn't filter out the ones that were against the rules. 

After reading a few more messages, he suddenly whipped his head to the side with a confused look. The confused look soon warped into a big grin, reaching his ears. "Hey," He greets. The other person doesn't answer, but Hongjoong nods and looks back at his twitch chat.

" Hongjoong, do you have a secret lover that we don't know of'... What do you mean by that?" Hongjoong reads out the message, laughing. He looks to his left again, smiling widely, as if listening to whatever the person's saying. He chuckles, looking back at his chat. 

"You guys can't hear background noises because of the multiple filters my mic has. It's for recording, so it can't pick up the sounds." He answers, not mentioning any names. It is true though. His mic is specifically used for recording. It can pick up noises, just not the ones from far away. He's only using this right now for his live because the one he usually uses is in his streaming room, and he couldn't be bothered to ruin the setup that his husband so carefully built. 

"Chat, stop spamming the among us emote. You guys are a bunch of bots… 'Suspicious'... I don't think it's all that suspicious." He whips his head to the sides again, nodding his head. 

"I see. Well chat, I have to go wash up now…"

" 'Are you gonna end stream?'... Ah, no. There's a special guest." He says, smiling. "He'll accompany you guys until I finish washing up." Hongjoong stands up, moving the chair back. He bends down to look at the camera, ruffling his hair before waving his hands. 

"Bye-bye chat! Be nice to him, alright?" He winks before walking completely out of the frame, leaving his stream empty.

After a few minutes of waiting, a tall figure walks into the frame, with only his torso being seen. The figure in question is wearing blue pajamas and a ring on his hand. He moves the chair, adjusting its position before sitting down. 

"Hey, chat."

Seonghwa chuckles, looking at the comments. "Thank you everyone. I'm really touched by all the messages. You guys are so kind." He leans in closer to the camera, moving the phone to continue reading. 

"I'm sorry if I can't really do much. I can only talk so the content will just be me talking for a while until Hongjoongie comes back." He pauses, waiting for other messages to pop up. " 'It's alright your face is the content' ....?" He breaks into a wide grin, looking away and covering his face. 

"...I'm shy." 

The live chat explodes at his cuteness, multiple people spamming stuff about how cute he is. 

It's quite awkward for Seonghwa, really. He doesn't know if he's doing well or not. It's been 10 months of him not showing his face on stream. He's not used to streaming anymore. 

"Oh… What's this… Some of you guys know me as Mars ASMR…?" He asks, a bit hesitant. That… just made him really nervous. He chews on his lower lip, waiting for the responses. He could only hope that it's all positive. 

The viewers in chat who claimed that they knew him as Mars ASMR were saying that they missed him, and that they're glad he's back. They had no idea that the Hwa-hyung they were watching was actually him, and it's making them emotional. Seonghwa looks away, a small smile popping up his face as he mumbles a small thank you. 

"I'm getting a little emotional now," He chuckles. The viewers have been nothing but kind and happy. He was getting a bunch of compliments, either for his face or for his attitude. Everyone's being really positive that he really is getting emotional. He feels accepted. It's making him so happy. He's glad that people are liking him a lot.

" 'Are you gonna be back as Mars ASMR?'.... " He pauses for a while before nodding lightly. "...Yes. I'll be back as Mars." He smiles. His conversation with the live chat abruptly ends when he hears the door opening and Hongjoong coming inside. 

"You're finished?" He asks. Hongjoong nods, walking over to the bed with his hair still wet. He sits right behind Seonghwa, waving at the camera. Seonghwa moves the mic near the bed and moves his chair to the left, making sure that the two of them are in frame.

"I'm back, chat. Have you all been nice to…" He looks over at Seonghwa, raising an eyebrow. Seonghwa smiles fondly, nodding. That causes Hongjoong to smile back, looking once again at the camera. 

"Have you all been nice to Seonghwa?" Seonghwa chuckles, answering for the twitch chat. "They've been really nice and well behaved." 

"That's good. I would've scolded them if they were mean to you." He rests his hands on the bed as he watches Seonghwa reach out for his phone, checking the live chat. "Are the kids home?" Seonghwa asks while looking through the chat. Hongjoong nods. 

"They're all downstairs." He looks up from the phone, passing it to Hongjoong. Hongjoong accepts and starts reading the messages from his viewers.

"Oh, this is a fun one. 'Hongjoong please dry your hair, you're going to get sick again' " He looks up, laughing. Seonghwa frowns. 

"The person who said that is right, though. Dry your hair." He reaches out for a towel that's out of frame and tosses it to Hongjoong, who catches it with one hand. "I'll do it later." He places the towel beside him and decides to focus on his live chat again. Seonghwa frowns, snatching the towel from beside him and glaring at him. 

"You're a pain in the ass." 

"I'm your pain in the ass." 

"That sounds so weird, please never say that again." Seonghwa stands up, sitting beside Hongjoong. "What are you doing?" He asks, a small smile creeping up his face. Seonghwa rolls his eyes, holding the towel with both hands. 

"I'll dry your hair. Turn around." Hongjoong chuckles, turning a bit so Seonghwa can dry his hair. " 'Why are you guys being so parents?' I have no idea what that means but it sounds funny." Seonghwa smiles but doesn't answer. 

A peaceful silence engulfs the room as Seonghwa pats Hongjoong's hair dry with a towel and Hongjoong reads the live chat. 

"SEONGHWA-HYUNG HOW DARE YOU—" A loud voice could be heard screaming, and Seonghwa flinches, turning around. Wooyoung lands in the bed behind the two of them, his voice loud enough to be heard by the mic. "How dare you reveal yourself like this without us knowing? You and Hongjoong-hyung… You two…" He squints, pointing his index finger at the both of them, moving back and forth.

"I should've known you two were plotting something…" 

"Right. Who would've known." San plops next to Wooyoung, immediately cuddling with him. Hongjoong scrunches his nose in disgust.

"Shut up. Don't act like you and—" Seonghwa throws the wet towel at Wooyoung's face. 

Wooyoung sits up, quickly throwing it away. "That's fucking disgusting, hyung! Wait, it did smell kind of good. Are you using a strawberry scented shampoo?" He asks, looking at Hongjoong and Seonghwa gives him a painful smile. 

"Yeah, I'm using a strawberry scented shampoo. Fits my hair." 

"Oh my god, hyung, that's so cute! But that's not what I came here about—" 

"Wooyoung," Hongjoong grits his teeth. Wooyoung gulps before standing up. "Nevermind. Sannie, let's go. Let's leave these fossils alone." He pulls San up with him, walking out of the room but not before sticking a tongue out at Hongjoong. Hongjoong rolls his eyes and faces the camera.

"Ignore that. I can't believe that he was so loud that the mic managed to pick up his voice. God." Seonghwa chuckles beside him, covering his mouth with a hand.

Hongjoong huffs, putting the phone away, placing it on the bedside table. He scoots closer to Seonghwa, resting his head on his shoulders. A soft smile appears on Seonghwa's lips. He's literally incapable of hiding his happiness. 

"Should we talk about it?" Hongjoong asks, looking up at him whilst still leaning on his shoulder. Seonghwa looks back, nodding.

"It's about time anyway."

Hongjoong looked down at Seonghwa's hands that were resting on his lap. He takes Seonghwa's left hand and intertwines it with his left hand, the glint of their rings shining at the camera. Seonghwa watches as Hongjoong plays with his hands, clearly trying to show off their wedding rings. 

"That's going to make them even more confused, love. " He chuckles. Hongjoong rolls his eyes but finds himself smiling at the pet name. "My viewers are smart. They should've connected the dots by now." He says, pulling Seonghwa's hands to his lips and giving the back of it a quick kiss. 

"It's still confusing. Aren't you going to clarify?" 

"Of course I am." 

Hongjoong raises his head, looking at Seonghwa. "Do you want me to kiss you in front of forty-thousand viewers or is that too scandalous?" He asks. Seonghwa flushes red, laughing nervously. He removes Hongjoong's clasp on his hand, using his hands to cover his face. 

"Okay, that is definitely too scandalous." Hongjoong pouts, crossing his arms. "How am I going to show you off to my viewers? I need them to know that you're taken and married to me ." 

"I'm sorry love, but if you kiss me here right now I'm afraid it won't only end in a short, simple, and quick kiss." Hongjoong lets out a dramatic gasp, taking a pillow from behind and hitting Seonghwa with it. Seonghwa bursts out laughing. 

"And you were talking about not being scandalous!?" 

"Joong, please—" Seonghwa cries out, wiping the tears that were welling up in his eyes from laughing too much. Hongjoong sighs, exasperated. "You're making it really difficult for me not to kiss you." 

The two are interrupted by the sudden ringing of Hongjoong's phone, causing them to both flinch. Hongjoong picks up his phone, looking at the caller's name, clearly annoyed. He answers and puts the phone on speaker. 

"I'd greatly appreciate it if you two don't make out in front of forty-thousand viewers." Yeosang's voice rings through the speaker, and the two burst out laughing once again.

"Please, hyung. Save your image. We do not need clips of you two kissing floating around the internet. Woosan is worse enough." Jongho adds, and there's a loud protest that could be heard in the background (probably from Wooyoung). 

"They're ganging up on us." 

"I told you kissing in front of forty-thousand viewers would be scandalous." 

"Seonghwa, I meant a short kiss. Not a fully blown make out session like you were implying." 

"I was not implying that!" 

"Yeah sure, you're cute."

"We've been married for 3 years and have been dating since high school… So we've been together for like, almost 8 years." Hongjoong says, looking lovingly at Seonghwa. He could hear Wooyoung making fake puking noises through the phone. They were still on call with the other members (who did not want to come inside their room at the risk of triggering a Kim Hongjoong) and were telling everyone about their marriage. 

"He's a good husband." He adds. Seonghwa blushes, shyly looking away. "See, he still blushes at things like this." Hongjoong chuckles, pointing at Seonghwa's red cheeks. Seonghwa slaps his shoulders gently. 

"Shut up. But… Yeah. We've been together for almost 8 years. I hope you guys don't be too upset at this… the whole thing. Like, the fact that I'm Mars ASMR… and I'm married to Joongie." He says, nervously chewing on his lower lip. Hongjoong frowns. 

"They shouldn't be upset. We have the right to keep our personal lives private." He glares at the camera and Seonghwa laughs, trying to ease his anger. "Anyone who's going to talk shit about my husband will go to hell. I'm not joking when I'm saying that they'll suffer the consequences of their actions. That goes the same to all my friends. I won't tolerate any bullshit."

"...It's alright, Joong. Calm down." 

"No, don't calm down, Hongjoong-hyung. Our viewers need to know their limits." Yunho speaks up, and more noises of agreement rings from the phone's speaker. 

"Right! They should know that we have boundaries." Wooyoung's voice echoes throughout the room, causing the others to also add their input.

"We also have feelings. Content creators are also humans too, you know." 

"You people may joke about shit a lot but do know that there are some jokes that cross the line sometimes." 

"Please be careful about what you guys say on the internet." 

"Even if you mean it as a joke, it may not be like that for the other person."

"You guys," Seonghwa chokes out, tears welling up in his eyes. "Thank you." These words mean so much to him, and the fact that they're coming out of the mouths of the people he's considered family makes him even more emotional. He covers his face with his hands.

"Don't cry," Hongjoong moves closer, moving his hands away from his face. "I don't want to see you cry anymore." He whispers, wiping the corner of Seonghwa's eyes.

Seonghwa looks him straight in the eye.

It was a rough eight months of trying to heal and running away from everything. He pushed everyone away, refused help, and isolated himself from society. But in that same eight months, he slowly learned that he doesn't have to run away. Because there are people who actually care about him. There are people who would fight the whole world if it meant his happiness. They were the same people he pushed away when they tried to help. The same people who were willing to wait for him to open up and let them help.

And he's here wondering if he deserves to have all of these people surrounding him. 

"I know what you're thinking." Hongjoong whispers. "Of course you do. You deserve the best, and only the best." 

Of course he does.  

He smiles, a single tear drop dropping from his eye. Of course he does. Because at the end of the day, he still came back to them. To his family . 

And he feels safe . He feels loved . He feels happy . 

"You're such a sap," Seonghwa chuckles, wiping his cheeks. Hongjoong pouts, matching his stares. "I am going to kiss you." 

"Please do,"

And with that, Hongjoong leans in, meeting Seonghwa's lips and savoring every second of it. 

"Yuck!" Hongjoong smirks through the kiss, pulling Seonghwa closer. 

"Wooyoung, why did you leave the stream!?" 

"They were kissing, Yunho!" 

"We see that shit everyday." 

"So what, Yeosang?" 

"Hyungs, please don't forget to use prote—" 

"Sannie, they're live in front of forty— no, fifty thousand viewers, shut up!"

Hongjoong pulls back, laughing his ass off. Seonghwa slaps him on the shoulder with a fond smile on his face. Though this time, he slaps him much harder. "Ouch!"
