   Summary

   Daemon has a son with his first wife, Rhea Royce, before he leaves for the Stepstones. Mikkael is nearly 10 when his mother dies and his father, seemingly unaware of his newborn sister, returns to Runestone. Now without his mother's guiding hand, Mikkael is thrust into the world of politicking among the high lords of Westeros and can't help but feel pulled between his First Men ancestry and Valyrian Heritage.
