Chapter Text
TWO YEARS OLD
A cry, calls out form far away, a child, that's him, olive, he's two at that point, he's in his home, waking up from a nightmare, he was stopped sobbing so loudly, but stopped, realising his mother is asleep, the kitchen, it's quiet, just a small fridge noise, it seems normal, olive's using the kettle, he's only two, he shouldn't be doing that.. His mother said he was allowed to though, so it's fine, his mother is Responsible.
"Olive... Shut up, I was sleeping." His mother says, peering through the doorway leading from the kitchen to the living room, though he calls it the 'snug' "sorry, I was trying to quiet I promise.." He says in a meek and quiet voice, almost like he knows he needs to be quiet, his vocabulary is really big for a 2 year old, that's what i think anyway. "D-do you want some tea for the hangover m-mama?" Olive asks, pondering if he should've or not, "honey & lemon, no tea, add more lemon than you have" she replays, almost like this is normal she sits on the sofa, seemingly waiting for it, olive gets to work, he makes the honey and lemon, and tales it to his mother, "it's ready mama, h-here you go" he passes the cup to his mother, only to drop it while reaching up to her level, "OLIVE YOU STUPID FUCK, WHAT DID I SAY ABOUT DROPPING MUGS!?" Olive shivers in fear, and tears fall down his face, silently ,his mother will do worse if he makes noise, and a hand, it comes up, a hard thud is heard as olive falls to the floor clutching his cheek, still crying but, no noise makes it's way out of his mouth, his mouth?, seems as though he has blood, dripping out, finding it's way on his clothes, that's fine, he'll put it in the wash later. His mother spots the blood, an screams at him more, "OLIVE YOU STUPID CHILD WHY DID I GIVE BIRTH TO YOU, YOU-U STUPID THING" She exclaims, only for him to go into the kitchen, "OLIVE COME CLEAN THIS MESS. NOW." olive comes back with carpet cleanet, he cleans the carpet, there's barely a stain anywhere after he's finished. This is normal, right? That's all olive can think, while he sits in his bedroom.
