Kim and Jasmine stood in the quiet part of the corridor, watching as Chay made his way out of the music studio.
Kim scowled seeing who his angel was with. Ohm. That damned boy seemed to be with chay almost every second! It was like they were stuck together with glue or something! Ohm had his arm slung over Chay's shoulder, talking about something as they passed through the corridor with a few more people from their class.
Kim sighed and turned around. Leaning against a pillar and holding the straps of his bag with both hands. He probably looked like a disheartened first grader but at the moment he couldn't care less.
"Oi why are you looking like that? He's just a friend now na, you know this. They broke up two months ago because they realised that they could only ever be just friends" Jasmine said, sensing Kim's sadness.
"I knooww, but still" He sighed "look how close they are, they're together almost twenty four seven. I don't stand a chance against Ohm- oi! What if he tries to win Chay back because seeing me pursuing him unlocked Ohm's true feelings for Chay Or something?!"
Jasmine had smacked the back of Kim's head, almost making his specks fall down "What did I tell you? No. Negetive. Thoughts. Ohm doesn't see Chay in a romantic way and neither does Chay. Plus Chay has moved into your house hasn't he? You guys are good friends, aren't you? Your brother is his only hia's boyfriend for heaven sake! You have countless opportunities to act but you keep behaving like a shy panda!"
Kim pushes his glasses up his nose. Okay so maybe his best friend had a point. But she didn't know how difficult it was to make a move! It was either his instincts or the load of dramas P'Nu was making him watch that had Kim feeling like, Ohm might be competition. And a tough one at that.
Childhood friends, realise their love when one starts dating someone else- such a classic drama plot!
Kim felt sad. His heart sunk at the thought of Ohm and Chay getting back. He didn't like it. It made him sad.
Ofcorce, Chays happiness was his priority and if he found that with Ohm then Kim wouldn't seperate them... but he really really wanted Chay to find that with him instead.
Sensing her bestie's disheartenment Jasmine felt bad. She spoke in a much more calmer voice this time, like she calming a small child. "Ni, " She smacked Kim's shoulder and got his eyes back on her "Don't worry about it. Trust me. You're way cooler than him."
Kim didn't doubt his bestie's judgement but still let himself a barley noticeable pout, greedy for more consolation and boosting.
He looked down at his body "Am I?"
She gave one hard nod and loud hum, as if it was the simplest and most obvious thing.
"But I've got nothing on him!" Kim whined again, still a little dounting.
You've got this!" She said poking his chest
Kim looked down again, little confused "....My nipples?"
Jesmine sighed, she shouldn't have been surprised "Your heart you idiot"
"Ohhhhh"
"No wonder he's still single" Jasmine muttered under her breath, realising how much work getting the two together might actually take.
