“Agggghhh, what the hell kind of assignment is this!?” Jason Chen groaned flopping on his couch.
His girlfriend, Hailey Andrews, was on a sofa chair opposite the couch, sitting up and reading the assignment the professor gave the class.
“You must do a report on nudist culture. Spend one week as a nudist and then write a report on it. Seems easy enough to understand,” Hailey stated matter of factually.
“Easy if you were already a nudist. Except, you know, I’m not; I can’t even get changed under a beach umbrella,” groaned Jason. “How is this even a legitimate assignment?”
“Nudism is on the rise lately so a lot more college classes are incorporating it as part of their curriculum,” Hailey replied, shrugging her shoulders, “This isn’t even the first college or even high school that’s done something like this.”
“Why did I think taking Professor Wolberg’s class was a good idea,” said Jason with a sigh. “I need to check my professors more thoroughly next time.”
The two sat in awkward silence in the apartment, not sure how to handle Jason’s predicament. Hailey twirled a strand of her burnt orange hair, deep in thought, before suggesting: “Why don’t I help you out for the week?”
“You offering to strip down with me?” Jason asked, interest piqued.
“Well, no, I’m not even taking the class,” Hailey replied, causing Jason to deflate a bit. “But I can help coach and support you through this assignment. It’s good to have some encouragement when taking a big step in a lifestyle like this. Whaddya say to that Jayce?”
“I think I’m going to fail this assignment,” Jason said flatly.
“Don’t be so negative! Look, it would probably help a lot if you decided to jump into this headfirst. Go into bathroom and just hop out of it naked,” Hailey instructed cheerfully.
“Like I have a choice,” sighed Jason as he got off the sofa and headed to his dorm’s personal bathroom.
Hailey waited patiently, scrolling on her phone while her boyfriend got comfortable, hoping he would get the hang of the assignment.
“O-Okay, I’m ready!”
Hailey looked up from her phone, expecting to see Jason in the buff…and instead saw Jason wearing his swimming trunks and an awkward smile on his face.
The young woman blew a lock of hair out of her face in exasperation and muttered, “This is going to be tougher than I thought.”
Day 1
The couple had made more progress today compared to yesterday. After thirty agonizing minutes of Jason slowly peeling away his outer clothing, he was now sitting on his couch, clad in only his purple, star-pattern boxers.
“Alright, just one more piece! Come on Jayce, you can do it!” Hailey said excitedly.
“Babe, I’m not a dog,” Jason replied flatly.
“I was actually going for encouraging gym coach,” Hailey shrugged. “Anyways, this will be easier the sooner you get out of your underwear. It’s like ripping off a Band-Aid.”
Gulping audibly, Jason stood up and placed his hands on the waistband. “Right…like a Band-Aid.”
The young man stood in place for a minute before shucking off his boxers in one quick motion. Jason was now naked as the day he was born. He took a few steps around his dorm, soaking in this newfound sensation.
“H-Hey this isn’t so bad! I-I don’t know what I was so worried about, heh. Yeah…yeah, I’m thinking this assignment won’t be so hard,” Jason said confidently despite his shaky voice. He strutted around a bit, trying to get a handle of being nude without taking a shower.
“Told you so! This class is going to be a breeze!” chirped Hailey, blushing a bit at the sight of her boyfriend’s bare backside.
Day 3
Hailey and Jason were kicking back at his dorm, sharing a pizza for lunch. Jason was growing more comfortable in his skin and was enjoying a slice while nude.
“I’m glad you’re finally getting a handle on the whole nude thing Jason; it’s a real step up from the swimming trunks. Although you think it’s such a good idea to have hot and fresh pizza in your birthday suit?” questioned Hailey, shaking a Parmesan packet over her piece of pizza.
“You kidding me?” Jason replied through a mouthful of food, “Eating while naked is an ingenious idea! You can get as messy as you want and just rinse off. No more worrying about spilling barbecue sauce on your white pants or getting grape juice on your nice blouse.”
Hailey pondered his statement for a bit, seeing a lot of the logic in it. “That’s a good pitch Jayce. You gotta remember to write that down for the assignment.”
“Oh yes Hailey my dear, the nude life is good to me so far. There’s not a single downside to being nak-AWW SHIT!” Jason suddenly screeched in pain as a piping hot pepperoni landed on his bare chest, singeing his tender skin.
“Aaaaaand this is the part where I’m justified in wearing clothes here,” Hailey snickered at her boyfriend’s misfortune.
The Chinese American man flicked the pepperoni off and grimaced, “Remind me to never try to cook bacon while I’m naked. Never, ever.”
Day 5
Jason was now fully in the nudist spirit; having the day off from classes, the young man took advantage of the day and decided to do some exercises au naturel. Currently, he was following along to the Tae Bo moves playing on his TV, feeling his heart pumping with every movement.
At that moment, Hailey walked through the dorm’s doorway, clad in black sweatpants and an orange hoodie, having come back from her usual jog.
“Jason Chen what on Earth are you doing?” chuckled the young woman as she saw her boyfriend moving about, sans clothes.
“Just trying to get some exercise in. Don’t want to waste the day just sitting on my ass and playing video games. I already did that yesterday anyways,” Jason replied, raising his left leg to imitate a kick.
“I’m surprised you can somehow focus on exercising with your dangly bits bouncing around,” Hailey said impishly.
“You joke but it’s actually more freeing than you think,” Jason responded, ceasing his rhythm and pausing his smart TV. “Without any clothes, I can move around a lot easier, which makes exercising easier. I never knew who constricting shorts and a t-shirt could be until today.”
Jason then grabbed the towel that was on the sofa chair and wiped the light perspiration off his body. “Oh, and being naked means you don’t have sweaty gym clothes clinging to your body and making you reek like ass. Really big plus in my book.”
Hailey wanted to counter his point but she instead took a whiff of her hoodie and grimaced, “Okay, yeah, chalk this up for a win for nudism. Really important to note for the assignment.”
Final Day
The couple were enjoying some quiet time with each other in Jason’s dorm yet again, the only sound being the young college student typing away at his laptop. By this point being naked in relation to the class assignment was out of Jason Chen’s mind; he now thoroughly enjoyed the freedom of being in the buff when he could be. Hailey, who helped Jason during his early struggles with the assignment, adjusted well to her boyfriend’s new lifestyle, currently laying her head on his bared shoulder as her worked.
“Aaaaaand that’s a wrap!” Jason exclaimed as he saved his completed essay. “Well, that was an…interesting way to get into nudism. Couldn’t have done it without my best girl by my side.”
“Always happy to help babe,” Hailey replied. She then began an imitation of an old wizard mentor, “But you shouldn’t give me all the credit young Jason. It was within you all this time.”
“Nice cliché Gandalf,” Jason chuckled. He shifted in his seat as he said, “So…after this past week, how do you feel about the whole nudist thing? Something you might be interested in?”
Hailey contemplated her boyfriend’s question for a moment and gave her answer, “While it’s great that you got more comfortable in your skin, I don’t think it’s something I’m ready to dive into yet. Sorry Jayce.”
Jason looked crestfallen at her response. “Even after all that and with you coaching me through it, still nothing? This isn’t some CFNM thing, is it?”
Now it was the redhead’s turn to chuckle at her partner’s response. “As great as the view of your butt has been, it’s the same deal you had in the beginning. I just don’t feel confident walking around naked. Sorry if it sounds hypocritical…”
Processing what she said, Jason nodded his head and gave her an understanding smile. After how they bonded over the past week, he more than respected his girlfriend’s choice.
“It’s not even a hard no. Who knows, maybe down the road I might give it a try,” Hailey assured him.
“Whatever happens, happens. I’m just glad, whatever comes, I’ve got you,” Jason smiled as Hailey blushed at him. The couple leaned in and sealed the affirmation with a kiss, glad that they had each other in their lives.
