Work Text:
Amy huffs as he’s questioned by his classmates. He had gained a bruise on his forehead and no amount of messing with his hair had been able to hide it. “I told you all, I just hit my head on a doorway, It’s fine.”
Of course, it’s a lie but there are a few doorways in the school that are just a little bit too small for all of the students that are over 5’11”.
Amy had really gained the bruise in a way that was insulting to his intelligence and his ego.
He had been hiding away, watching over the school and making sure that her true role as mastermind still stayed hidden from everyone but herself and.. The annoying animatronic bear.
It had been well into the night, and Amy had ended up dozing off without going back to his room, face resting on some unfinished blueprints for another Monokuma, one that was.. Less likely to blow itself up to the point she couldn’t just fix it.
It had been around 6:30 in the morning when Monokuma had popped up, waking Amy up and causing him to hit his head on one of the monitors, only for Monokuma to remind her that there was a monitor there about 10 seconds after she had hit her head.
It took everything in Amys power to not throw the bear at the nearest wall as he stood up, rubbing his forehead and finally leaving to go to his room - and hope that none of his classmates had tried to find him while he was away.
He managed to get back to his room fairly easily, nobody else was awake yet or if they were, they had stayed in their rooms, probably waiting for Monokumas announcement that it was time to wake up.
He had huffed an un-amused laugh as he looked in the mirror, sure enough it had bruised and no matter what he did with his hair, he just couldn’t hide it properly.
The morning announcement played and with a hit to his ego, he left his room to go and meet the others - something he hated but ended up doing anyway so that they would stop nagging him all the goddamn time.
Amy wished that he didn’t though because the questioning was getting annoying.
