   Summary

   John was a human thrall infected with an illithid tadpole. Due to a rare case of partialism, John and the tadpole are now Lubuzol, a young mind flayer who doesn't fit in amongst the other illithids of the colony. It turns out it's hard to be a mind flayer when you have a human code of ethics. Who would've thought?

   (Lubuzol recounts their life from ceremorphosis, to befriending their first and only thrall, to the banishment that led to meeting Vers the eladrin at a tavern in Vaelan, Durpar.)
