Ever since Luna and Aylin got together there has been one question lingering in Aylin’s mind “Why her?” Why did human senior choose her over everyone else? Luna was smart, popular, beautiful, and a part of the fixed stars. She could have anyone she wanted so why Aylin? Luna knew that Aylin thought this, so she has tried everything in her power to make her believe she’s worth her love.
“Aylin~~” A short girl called out to her girlfriend
“Yes,human senior” A taller girl replied not taking her eyes off of the book she was reading
“Aylin, please look at me” The shorter girl pouted
Finally giving in, Aylin put her book down and turned to face her girlfriend.
“Yes?” The taller girl asked again
“Are you free after school? I have something to show you.” The older girl spoke
“What is it?” The younger girl asked with a hit of curiosity.
“It’s a secret~” the older girl spoke in a teasing manner.
“Fine.” The younger girl said as she went back to reading
Unbeknownst to Aylin, Luna had a very special surprise. Their anniversary was coming up so she wanted to do something extra special for her alien. She had gotten the help of Alpha and Ongsa, Aylin’s cousins, and Sun who’s Ongsa’s girlfriend and someone who’s known her Aylin for a long time to help. She truly wants Aylin to know how much she loves her, and tonight she’s planning to show her just that.
As Luna was getting ready to pick up her girlfriend her phone rang.
“Hello?” Luna spoke picking up the call
….
The other side of the line was quiet for a couple of seconds until..
“Human senior.” Was heard from the other line
“Yes,my love” the older girl replied happy to hear her girlfriend’s voice
On the other side of the line Aylin stood quiet, stunned from hearing her girlfriend call her “my love”, Luna has done it before but Aylin still couldn’t get used to it and her heart fluttered every time Luna called her that. She also wanted to try calling Luna a term of endearment as she wanted Luna to know she loved her, but every time she tried it felt as if her heart would beat out her chest so she never did.
“W-what do I wear for your surprise?” The younger girl finally spoke.
“Hmm do you want to look good for me?” The older girl teased.
“No. I just don’t know what we’re doing, so I don’t know what to wear.” Aylin spoke
“Mmmm Aylin~” Luna whined
“Just wear whatever you feel comfortable in ok?” Luna finally answered
“Ok.” Aylin simply said
“I’ll see you soon,my Aylin” Luna said ending the call going back to what she was doing
On the other hand Aylin had stood there frozen for a couple of seconds, “My Aylin” replaying over and over in her head. Before she realized it a smile had creeped onto her face. After a few moments she snapped back into reality and realized the person she was just thinking about will be at her door soon, and she needs to get ready. So she did just that.
“Aylin! Luna’s here!” A human with glasses called out.
Aylin ran down the stairs, thanked her human cousin, and composed herself before walking outside and seeing her beautiful girlfriend smile at her walking out.
“Hello, human senior.” The taller girl spoke
“Hi Aylin” the shorter girl said with a luminous smile on her face
“Are you ready to go?” The short girl asked
“Yes.” Was all Aylin replied with.
“Then.. let’s go!” Luna said excitedly.
As they were walking Aylin noticed there wasn’t anyone around, feeling comfortable she took her girlfriends hand and held it tight. This shocked Luna as her girlfriend rarely initiates touch, but not letting this moment go to waste she kept her hand in her lovers and got closer. Both feeling the warmth of each other's hands.
“We’re almost there!” Luna said excitedly as they were approaching the spot where she held the surprise.
“We’re here!” Luna said as they finally got to their destination.
In Front of them stood a beautiful sight, it was an open area in a shape of a circle, the only thing around were trees, lights covered the trees all around, in the center was a fairly large circle tent with little windows and a entrance, it looked oddly similar to a UFO, it was dark so all the light laminated beautifully with the occasional sea of fireflies, making the scene even more majestic. Aylins heart swelled at the scene. She hasn’t even seen half of what Luna had planned but she was already feeling so much emotions.
“H-human sen-“ Aylin tried to speak
“Not yet Aylin,I still have more to show you” the older girl spoke before her lover could finish her sentence.
“Come” the older girl told the younger girl, leading the way into the tent.
Inside the tent were an arrangement of different space gadgets, from a light that projected the solar system all around the tent that Luna got from Ongsa, too different planets hanging all around off the top of the tent which Luna borrowed from the astronomy club, too Aylins favorite things, Aliens, every corner there was something alien related,there was even an arrangement of blankets on the ground with pillows all of them related to aliens in some sort of way, lastly there was a projector, projecting Aylins favorite movie on a side of the tent where they were going to watch a movie. Everything was fit to Aylin’s taste. This warmed Aylins heart, she felt an overwhelming wave of emotions.
“Human senior,d-did you do all of this just for.. Me?” Aylin asked unsure on how to even start to express what she's feeling.
“Aylin, My love, everything here, this date, all of this, is for you and only for you my love.” Luna started as she grabbed both of her lovers' hands and held them.
“I want you to know how much you truly mean to me, that's why I brought you here today, just the two of us.” Luna continued looking into Aylin’s eyes with her own big dark eyes. Aylin stood there quietly listening to her moon.
“I love you Aylin, I love you so much, so so much that everytime i'm with you i feel like my heart will explode, so much that anytime i see someone even slightly bothering i get furious because I want to protect you, so much that i want you all to myself now and forever, so much that when i think about how you think your not enough for me my heart breaks, so much that i want you to know that I will always choose you over anything, so much that you’re the only person i think of, so much that everytime we say goodbye to each other i wonder when the next i see you will be, I just love you so much darling, i'm down on my hands and knees begging you please baby show me your world, I love you and only you, your my kind of woman and only you. So please darling never think for even a second that you don't deserve me, you deserve even more than me.” Luna said, pouring her heart out to the taller girl in front of her to the point she was tearing up. While Luna was talking Aylin attentively listened, she listened to every single word the shorter girl had to say,every single one. When she saw the tears she quietly wiped them away with her finger, and continued listening. Once Luna was done she knew it was her turn.
“Huma- no, Luna, My darling, I too also love you, i love you so so much, and i'm sorry that im not able to communicate my feelings the way i want too, i know that i may be a lot to handle,but as you said i will always love you no matter what, yes, i do think you deserve better but i shall become better to be with you. And not because I think I need to be better, but because I want to become better for you. I love you my moon and nothing in this entire universe is going to change that. I want you to be my one and only moon, I want you to be my moon and no one else’s, I never knew I could find someone as perfect for me as you. I love you my one and only moon. Aylin also poured out as much of her heart as she could. She told Luna all she has been holding in, and it felt great.
As both of them stared at each other, Aylin pulls Luna in and shows her how much she truly loves her with a soft kiss full of passion, care, and love. They both pull away after a few seconds and pull each other in for a warm hug.
“I love you, my moon.”
“I love you too, my alien.”
“How about we continue our movie date hm?” Luna asks as they still havent started the movie she planned for them to watch.
“That sounds perfect.” The taller girl says.
“Hey wait, how did you get this place to be so empty with just the two of us?” The taller girl asks with curiosity as they sit down and get comfortable for the movie.
“Well… I may have requested this part of the park to be blocked out by some of our friends” Luna said in a giggling manner, pulling her lover in closer to cuddle.
“You really are something else, aren't you?” Aylin says, placing a forehead kiss on her moon's head before getting completely warm and cozy.
