   Summary

   I've re-written this like twelve times, turns out third person is a better fit for my writing style.
   Follow our gratuitous self-insert as she; after waking in the year 2151 and nearly one hundred fifty years after the last year she'd known, endures pain and heartache. Injured and forced to sleep again for another 16 years, until the RDA could make use of what only she could give them. Now afraid and in a body not her own; watching the beauty around her go up in flames, can she help those who don't think they need it? Can she teach someone who does not want to see?

   Trigger warnings for mild gore, cannon character death, and potential sexual themes. Also Lopez and Lyle being themselves.
