Annabeth after taking Percy’s advice was just dealing with the crush. He was right considering she had no other option to do considering she did not know what to come right out with. She was in fact about to go to Percy's sword fighting class to vent to him about having to do this and deal with everything when Piper appeared out of nowhere.
The butterfly inducing, heart pounding, and ardline feelings came all at once again. Just like it did when Annabeth had been with Piper earlier that day. The feeling of dread over the emotions that was coming over her but the feeling of romantic thoughts and feelings over took it just making it feel more heighted.
“Hey, Annabeth, I want to ask you something.” Piper says and Annabeth raises an eyebrow smile playing on her lips that she could not make it go away.
“What is it?”
“I was wondering if you would take a ride with the pegasuses with me. As in like um a date.” Piper asks, twirling a braid of her hair with her fingers looking down but still looking at Annabeth with a blush spread across her cheeks. Annabeth's brain stops working and all she can get out is ‘yes’
Before Piper left Annabeth came up and gave a kiss on Piper's cheek, smiled at her and ran off to where Percy was. Wait until he hears about this .
