A fleeting wind grazed past his back, there, giving his neck a shiver. He turned his head and found the infamous wandering samurai the traveller had brought up about at one point. The descendant of one of the once brilliant clan who mastered the art of isshin blade; of whom he almost destroyed. The living proof of his previous incarnation sins. He had indirectly played a cruel fate upon the wandering samurai. The bustling crowd of Sumeru markets left him with the ghost of Kazuha. He looked around him, his eyes looking for his whereabouts. The unique red hair strands of Kazuha stood out. Kazuha had already left the city; he was now at the back gate of Sumeru City. Wanderer used his skill to float above, rush on top of people’s heads, and traverse to where Kazuha was. He floats down right before Kazuha, tensing a little on the ground. The wind passes over them, welcoming the two paralelling souls. Kazuha’s tender eyes laid on Wanderer’s indigo eyes. A smile carved on Kazuha.
“That was an amazing showoff of your skill, good sir.”
“Sir? In what era do we live in, pray tell.”
Wanderer chuckled, and he crossed his arms. Keenly vibrant painted all over his face in the beginning of his landing. He cannot conceal what he feels about the person before him. Descendant of the Kaedehara clan. Possesses an anemo vision. Managed to take on the blow of Raiden Shogun’s Musou no Hitotachi. One can easily sense his excitement over albeit the person standing before him knows not of him. Not yet.
“I am merely being polite.” Kazuha put his left hand over his chin, seemingly to observe the floating guy.
“Are you the Hat Guy? I have heard from the gossiping mouth of Akademiya students; I know they are students belonging to the Akademiya by their well known uniform. Well, back to the topic, about a certain…” Kazuha sensed the being before him. “Figure that floats around with his notorious hat!”
Kazuha’s laid back personality made it easy for him to converse with this guy.
“Mr. Hat Guy, it's a pleasure to meet you.” Kazuha bowed slightly before his eyes met back with Wanderer’s. The evening wind gushed back and forth.
“I have a familiar feeling about you, the wind told me so.”
This guy is even more interesting in person! Voices inside Wanderer in frenzy, by Buer’s blessing, he masks them with a blanket of nonchalance.
“Although I could not point out why the wind told me such puzzling words,” Kazuha fixed his reddish katana perched on his waist. “I do not believe we have ever met.”
The truth was, Wanderer was so fascinated by Kazuha that he forgot how to respond for a moment. He shakes his head. Giving his hand to shake with Kazuha marked the beginning of their friendship.
“Nice to meet you, windy guy.” Wanderer could not help but chuckle away at his own word play. “I go by many names, but somehow, as you know, I am currently known by the name Hat Guy. I wrote some articles about Tatarasuna.”
Kazuha raised his eyebrow, confused but a bit amused by the sudden information drop. “I did not ask that, but that is cool to know.” The faintest blush washed over Wanderer. Why did I suddenly say that? That was embarrassing. “Well, forgive my very high awareness of my surroundings; I easily found out you came from the distant nation of Inazuma, where Tatarasuna Island was located, so I thought it might intrigue you.”
Out of politeness Kazuha plastered his face with a decent smile while being showered by other facts he never asked about. It was intriguing, indeed.
