Ruby walked through the hall walking next to the metal crate containing her love masterpiece.
She had a red hoodie with the hood pulled over her own head.
She glanced around to the other side of the metallic container and saw her girlfriend benefactor Weiss.
She was in a stunning short white dress and held her high.
Eventually they came to the split in the path. One way went up to the luxury box Weiss would view the fight from, the other the reinforced pit by the arena Ruby would be at.
The engineer motioned for Penny to be sent ahead or her and once she and Weiss were alone she leaned in and kissed the White haired girl on the lips.
"Wish us luck?"
The other woman wrapped her arms around Ruby and initiated another much deeper kiss before beginning to walk away.
"Just don't let our toy break." She coldly declared before walking down the hall.
KNOCK KNOCK
"Pen? It's time"
A soft familiar voice cut through the darkness surrounding her and soon enough Penny was allowed to exit her containment.
"SALUTATIONS!" She declared with a smile and a salute as she entered the field, to both Ruby and the audience.
Penny stared across the steel floor of the ring at her opponent.
Her hair was pink and she held an Axe too large for human hands.
"OK EVERYBODY!" The announcers boisterous voice cut in.
"PENNY VS YUGAI! YOU ALL KNOW THE RULES!"
"TWO BOTS ENTER! ONE BOT LEAVES!" The crowd chanted
Penny unsheathed her blades
Yugai raised her axe
"THIS AINT OVER TILL SOMONE'S SCRAP METAL! FIGHT!"
With that last call they dashed forward, their weapons meeting in a flash of sparks.
Weiss never understood how these peons found these matches exciting. They were so... cruel crude.
She watched Penny and the other machine threw eachother around back and forth littering eachother with cuts.
CRASH
Weiss only held her breath when Yugai's axe shattered one of Penny's swords and and took of an arm because of the repair costs and nothing more.
She wouldn't cry
Still, in the end Penny managed to win.
Weiss didn't look as she brought her foot down on the downed enemy robots head shattering it in a crash of wires, steel and oil. That was simply because she wanted to throw up knew the fight was clearly already decided.
Later thar night after they collected their payday the trio were back Ruby's workshop.
Weiss's arms were wrapped around her waist while she carefully attached a new arm to Penny.
"How's that?" The girl in red asked.
The ginger haird machine beamed "Good as new Girlfriend Ruby!"
Weiss asked in a quiet voice "Are you sure your ok?"
"Yes Girlfriend Weiss, this is my purpose. You really shouldn't worry so much" Penny responded.
The Schnee simply remained wrapped around Ruby and refused to respond.
Ruby herself sighed and held Penny's new hand simply taking in her closeness to the two.
