Teyvat’s Seven

Summary:

When Teyvat Academy is introduced to UA Highschool… I wonder what will happen? (Primarily follows the MHA storyline but with a- twist 🤭)

Yes. Yes this is becoming a thing because of those Teyvat academy Gacha reactions- 😭

CURRENTLY BEING REWRITTEN

Chapter 1: The Letter (Yoimiya)

Notes:

GAHHHH- This is my first work! I do write for fun though so I do hope my grammar isn’t TOO bad. Anyways ily and hop you enjoy this fic! Also I don’t really have a plot idea in mind for this. So if it seems messy or unstructured that’s because it mostly is. (I say mostly because I have a VERY vague outline somewhere in my basement of google docs)

Chapter Text

“Yoimiya! Will you check the mail?” The blonde girls head perked up. “Yeah!!” She shouted up the stairs. She quickly turned her head, giving a guilty look to her friend. “Sorry Ayaka, just let me grab this real quick!”

“You’re fine.” The Kamisato smiled warmly as Yoimiya dashed out the door. A few moments later Yoimiya had returned, a prestigious looking letter clutched in her hand.

“Was that all that was in there?” The blue haired girl looked at her questioningly. “Well, yes. But- look! It’s from the Academy!” She grinned sheepishly. “Right! Come on, Dad will want to see this!” The blonde grabbed her friends wrist, leading her up the stairs as the two made their way to he father’s room.

Yoimiya swiftly opened the door, “Look! It’s a letter from Teyvat Academy.” She shoved the flap of paper towards him.

His face seemed to crease, “Is this another one of your report cards?”

“N- no! It seems more important look! It has the official seal and all.” He sighed and looked at his daughter expectingly

“Are you going to open it?”

The delicately wrapped letter was quickly discarded as Yoimiya threw it open.

“Gah! Be more careful, it could be something important!” Ayaka scolded.

“Pffftt, Ayaka, this is from good ‘ole Teyvat Academy! Something of that importance would be hand delivered! And besides, I didn’t ruin anything. It’s fine.” The blonde waved off her girlfriend’s worry.

”Hmmm… I- I guess you’re right.” She paused a moment, “you should probably open the letter to read it?”

”OH-! Ha, guess you’re right!” Yoimiya quickly unfolded the white paper. A few moments passed as she read to herself. “What does it say?” The blonde’s father asked after the awkwardly long silence, beginning to question the widening grin on his daughters face.

The energetic blonde jumped up quickly, “You want to know? Allow me to read it then!

Dear guardian of Naganohara Yoimiya, we, Teyvat Academy would like to offer your child the opportunity to travel to Japan as a temporary student of UA High school. Your child will be accompanied by three teachers as well as six other vision-wielding students. All expenses will be paid for by the Hero Commission in Musutafu. And this will allow your child to experience a variety of training techniques that Teyvat Academy does not teach, as well as the chance to intermingle with students from another country, learn their culture, and even see breathtaking sights only viewed upon in Japan.

sincerly, Teyvat Academy.”

WHAAAT? Ayaka stood, “That’s such a big opportunity! You’re going to take it right!?” She turned to look at Yoimiya’s father, “Right?”

He looked a bit dazed for a moment, “Well of course. If Yoimiya wants to do it then I will allow it.”

”AAAÆEEE!” Yoimiya screamed, “Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!” The blonde was practically jumping up and down with glee. “Ayaka! Can you believe this?!” She grabbed the blue haired girls hands, “get to go to Japan! I know it’s a bad thing that we’ll be separated for a while- but Ayato surely will let you fly out! During winter break or something… You know? And I can introduce you to everyone! Oh, we should totally see if anyone else we know got in!” She grinned and reached for her phone.

”H- huh? Aughhh. I must of left it at Hu Tao’s house after the sleepover.” She sighed and shook her head slightly.

”We’ll just text them later then.” Ayaka said calmly, “As for right now though, we should get you packed!”

Still hand in hand, Ayaka guided her back to her own room, “Sooo… Japan is an island right? Geography was never my strong suit, heh.” The blonde tilted her head slightly.

“Mhm! Which means they have beaches. Which knowing you, you’ll drag those hero students right along with you to the ocean side.”

Yoimiya scoffed, “They don’t know what coming for them!” She dropped Ayaka’s hand and slid over to her closet, grabbing a handful or two of clothes.

”I might need to fold these…”

Ayaka gently sighed and took a large bunch of the clothing, “Guess we should get started.”

“EEK- Chiori! Chiori!” Yoimiya ran awkwardly towards the brunette girl.

“…Yes?” The geo user twisted her head to look at the blonde, her arms crossing simultaneously.

“Ok- kinda long story- but, so I went to check my bags to look for my extra hair ties. Eheh, but the thing is my bag wasn’t there…” Yoimiya trailed off, “But it’s not too bad, because I still have one of them! Just not the one with my travel things! Like my swimsuit, kamera, journal log-“

“You’ll be fine. If you need anything of the sort I have spare fabric, Im almost certain Charlotte snuck one or two of her special kameras into Furina’s bag. Saying something about not having enough evidence of the trip to Musutafu. Just ask her, I’m sure she won’t mind looking. And the journal log, you can type it in your phone and write it in later.” The seamstress swiftly interrupted her. “Now if that’s all, I’ll get back to my crocheting.”

Yoimiya stood stunned next to Chiori’s seat. “Th- thanks!” She gave a half nervous appreciative nod and began to back away. That journal idea was actually really smart huh-“Wait- you would really make me a swimsuit?”

”Oh, yes. I guess we sort of know each other so it’s free. Although, I do have other clients at the top of my list, so it won’t be right away.

Heavy with relief, the firework maker finally found her way back to her own seat.

Ok. Note to self to ask Furina about the extra kameras. Other than that… Should I have told Chiori what I wanted!? No… Right? Wouldn’t she have asked if she wanted to know? Right? She’s talented she knows what she’s doing!

Yoimiya silently laughed at herself. Then, leaning her head to see out the plane window, she saw it. The island of Japan.

”Wooww.” The blonde girl said aloud as she gaped at the view. It wasn’t quite what she thought it was. They were much closer than what she expected to be quite honest. But just as she was finishing her though the radio-voice thing (whatever it was called) sounded loud and announced they would be landing soon.

“Wow is right!” Above her Sethos, the electro vision representative, was staring out the window with an awe struck expression similar to the blonde’s own.

”Right!? It’s gorgeous! I mean the view is very different compared to the Inazuman landscape… But that aside the island itself is pretty! And a Birds Eye view like this? How could something not look good?”

Sethos gave a small laugh and waved his hand, “I was talking more so about the buildings. Obviously Teyvat has evolved since long ago, but everything here looks so… tall, and advanced. If you know what I mean that is.”

Yoimiya gave a short nod before the brunette continued.

”But the landscape is certainly a view, aside from the trash,” he grimaced, “And Archons above- the amount of grey these people like to drown their city in.”

”Hehe- You’re not wrong about the color choice. It’s very bleak compared to Teyvat. Well, maybe the streets looks better from down there?”

”Maybe.” He glanced around, “I should get to my seat- But thanks for the conversation!” He smiled and darted off before Yoimiya could give a proper send off.

Again, left before the conversation was really over. And with that, the plane was landing. [Guys I’ve never been on a plane help 💀]

Finally the moment where everyone is getting off! Yoimiya stretched her legs, raising her arms wide and grinning. She looked ahead, everyone is standing… But nobody’s moving? “Hey- Master Jean? That’s your name right? Sorry- but what’s going on?” She glanced at the tall blonde teacher beside her.

”Well, let’s just that these people aren’t used to… Vision users. They don’t quite understand it?” Jean shook her head, “No- no that’s not quite it. They don’t know what a vision is. We seem different, and special.”

“Oh! My apologies I completely skipped the point. There are a lot of news reporters at the airport. They seem friendly and all, but publicity isn’t really a goal of being here.” The Dandelion Knight gave her a somewhat awkward smile before she tried to wade between the students, teachers, and flight crew.

”Ahh. I see.” The blonde nodded to herself. News reporters… Are there that many!? Or are they just a big swarm? Hmm probably just nosy and in the way. Yoimiya silently concluded her thoughts

Suddenly, people were filing out. Grabbing her carry on bag, she slung it over her shoulder and stepped through people into the line going out.

”That. Took. Forever.” Furina hissed as the newly grouped up Teyvat students walked out of the airport, clutching large amounts of luggage, a few scattered guards trailing them, vaguely making sure no student was harassed or filmed.

The group walked in silence for a long second before Yoimiya spoke up, trying to lift the spirit of everyone.

”Well, you know, now that that’s over all the fun stuff can happen! Like we can go to the beach, find our apartments, OOOH- we could look at tourist attractions!”

After we check in at UA.” Alhaitham looked back at the kids, “We have other things that higher in priority than a bunch of fun things.”

“Alhaitham, you don’t need to be so harsh, they haven’t even stepped into UA yet.” Jean intercepted between the firework maker and the scholar.

Suddenly Collei stopped, almost squeaking out the words,“Is that UA!?” Yoimiya turned her head to see the structure.

“It’s kind of shaped weird…” Furina glanced at the building disdainfully.

“We all know it’s ugly. You can just say it.” Scaramouche rolled his eyes at Furina’s comment.

Furina opened her mouth to retort back at the Anemo user but was quickly hushed.

“Shush. Don’t be rude or “blunt”, you’re going to be exchange students here.” Zhongli, the former head Geo teacher, hissed from the front of the group.

“Eúgh… Sorry-” Yoimiya watched Furina respond in a muted voice.

“Anyways. We’ll be meeting with Nezu, the principle, to make sure all your information is correct. You’ll also be getting you weapons registered for official UA training. He promised you’ll later be permitted to use them during real hero exercises. Clear?” Zhongli and turned around at this point, fixing each student with a stern look.

“Clear!” The kids all said in unison.

“Then we’ll be heading to the gate where a hero will pick us up to go inside.” Jean hurdled them all together and began walking to the UA gate.

Yoimiya gave a sigh as she looked up at the gate itself. I guess this is welcome to UA. Soon after a man dressed in dark colors and adorned with a grey scarf appeared. Archons his outfit is not looking good-

“I am Shota Aizawa. I’ll be your students teacher as well as your current guide.” A few students nodded, others only noticing the plain clothes and large eye bags that the man sported.

He stuck out his hand in greeting, each teacher politely shook it.

“Anyways, I’ll be taking you to Principle Nezu. Right this way.” He moved his hands for them to follow through the gate.

And they did. All ten Teyvatians walked through, heading towards the first step in this journey.
