Summary:

While watching over Eri with Ochako, Izuku gets a message from an unknown number telling him to go to his mother's apartment to get the answers he's searching for about his father. He stupidly goes to his mother's apartment to find his dad back home after being gone for six years, and for some reason, he has Eri's horn on his forehead.

Notes:

Please tell me ways I could improve and ways that I can get better at punctuation because I know my writing is not good! I have more story ideas, but it takes me a while to write them because I'm busy most of the time :(. I've only tried writing stories two times before this, so please don't be mean to me in the comments if you decide to give tips T-T.

Work Text:

All For One, now known as Midoriya Hisashi, stares at Izuku and states, “You know I would never hurt you, right?” Izuku looks at his father and grumbles, “But you left me and Mom all those years ago.” Izuku sighs and thinks it would have been better not to have come here and talk to his father, but he has to know why he stole Eri's quirk.

“The reason you left is because of the scar that All Might gave you, right?” Izuku says this as he picks up his teacup and then sips his tea. “It was, but you and your mother know I would never leave you intentionally. And I'm certain that the blow All Might landed on my head gave me some form of memory loss because I only remembered you and Inko a couple of months ago.” Hisashi states with a sad tone, his eyes now looking at the teacup in his own hands.

The coffee table suddenly splits in two. Hisashi hears his son's teacup shatter and sees the tea spill on the tile floor. Hisashi looks at his son across from him, who stares at him angrily, the teacup in his hands now forgotten. Izuku yells, "I'm sick of this small talk; why did you steal Eri’s quirk?!” Hisashi laughs and touches the horn on the right side of his forehead. “Her quirk is just too perfect to pass on, you know?” He commented, then caressed the skin near his red eyes and smiled. “I wasn’t sure if taking her quirk and using it on myself would work, and I didn’t want to risk it, so I asked her if she could use her curse on me before I took it from her.” “I took away her curse, saved her from the Shie Hassaikai, and handed her over to Eraserhead. If anything, I was doing her a favor.”

Suddenly, Izuku moves, aiming to punch his father but loses his balance. Hisashi quickly gets up and catches him, putting his arms around his son's waist to stabilize him. Izuku sluggishly tries to hit his father to make him let go, but it does nothing. While smiling, Hisashi leans in front of Izuku and whispers “Do not fight it, Izuku. I know they haven’t treated you well; just come with me." As Izuku's vision fades to black, all he can think about is that he should have just stayed in the dorms, watching after Eri with Ochako.
