Wind rushed through my sportsy’s hair as we sped down the empty desert road. The golden sun, resting in a pink and orange sky, complimented my orange baby in the most perfect of ways. If I wasn't driving, I woulda' spent hours admiring my beautiful boy. "Mine" wasn't exactly how he'd like t' put it, but who wants t' scrutinize over stuff like that?
Nothing feels cooler than driving a stolen, sweet-ass convertible while listening to Elton John and Queen. Especially with your best buddy, watching him laugh with his head thrown back. “Dude, there’s no fucking way you didn't get caught!” he cackled. “Pass me another one, won’t ya?” Of course I obliged, passing him a beer from the back. I’d have another if I weren't such a lightweight, but I was already barely staying on the road- this was perfectly safe, we survived, nobody died.
"No, really, I didn't! They were fuckin' oblivious!" I replied. Warm joy bloomed in my chest as my sportsy continued to laugh. He was my everything, my purpose, my life.
