Tinn is always there to support Gun. He always had been. Since their high school days, when they weren't boyfriends, they weren't even friends, but Tinn didn't miss any of Gun's performances.

Now, as his boyfriend of almost three years, it's unthinkable for Tinn to not be there for his boyfriend's performances, even if they are small.

He has to be there. He has to.

That’s why when he’s stopped right at the entrance of this place his boyfriend is performing at, he’s so mad and frustrated. More frustrated than anything else.

It was a few weeks ago when Gun told him the band was going to perform at this big venue in a theater. It meant a great opportunity for the band to gain more recognition and exposure. Gun and the boys had been really excited, and so had Tinn.

Until one of his professors messed everything up.

It’s not new for Tinn; his schedule is a complete mess. Yet, he’d never get used to the last-minute adjustments made by his teachers.

Look, he knows they’re busy doctors, the majority at least, but waking up early in the morning on a freaking Monday to go to a class just to have it postponed, or even worse, canceled, wasn’t fun. It was freaking frustrating, and the worst part of it all is that he can’t do anything about it; he just has to cope with it.

And Tinn has never been very good at coping with things.

In fact, this morning, when he received the email with his morning class postponed to late afternoon, he was losing it. Right on the day of Gun's presentation, his teacher had to mess it all up.

So yeah, thanks to his stupid professor, he was late for the performance. And as if that wasn’t bad enough, he’s stopped at the entrance by security because they say they need to check if the VIP pass ticket he always gets to any of Gun’s performances is legit.

Of course it's legit, you dumbass! He’s the lead singer’s boyfriend! Tinn wants to scream at the guy’s face, but he just waits.

He waits and waits at the entrance as patiently as possible, but it's getting late, and he’s about to lose the little that is left of his patience if they don’t let him in the next minute.

Just when he’s about to lose his freaking mind, the security guard finally comes back and lets him in.

The guy carelessly guides him to a side entrance apart from the main one that is only for VIP guests, and Tinn runs down that aisle without noticing the person who sneaks in behind him at the only VIP entrance.

He finally makes it to Gun's performance on time. As always, the performance is amazing. Tinn gives all his attention and support to the band, but overall, of course, to the beautiful lead singer.

Once the performance is done, he goes to wait for his boyfriend backstage near Gun’s dressing room, still not noticing the presence of another person following him close.

Too focused on congratulating his talented boy.

When Gun finds him there, he runs towards him with the biggest smile he always carries on his face whenever he sees Tinn.

Such a cutie in every sense of the word.

Gun crashes into Tinn’s arms with the enthusiasm of someone who has been missing and wants to see the person he’s hugging desperately. Tinn hugs him back equally enthusiastically, losing himself in the warm hug.

Normally, they wouldn’t show too much public affection due to both their career choices, but with so many eyes on them, it’s better for them to keep things private. They preferred it that way. But this time they don’t care about the eyes that might be on them and just hug each other tightly, not caring about anything else but each other.

There’s supposed to not be anyone around them, anyway.

“You did so well.” Tinn whispers in Gun's ear; it's intimate and sweet.

He keeps showering Gun with compliments and little kisses that he spreads all over the singer's face, making him let out precious giggles and laughter, as he keeps hugging him tighter and tighter, wiggling him until he's practically carrying him around and twirling him as if Gun weighs nothing.

Gun's giggles continue to echo in the intimate air around them with each kiss Tinn deposits on his naturally flushed face. Tinn is feeling even bolder, so when Gun tries to wriggle out of the embrace they're sharing, he doesn't let him and instead pulls him tighter, gently grabbing him by the thighs, making sure Gun is still hugging him, he places Gun's legs around his hips.

“I thought you wouldn’t be able to make it!” Gun mutters with his face half hidden in the crook of Tinn’s neck.

“I would’ve never missed it.” Tinn assures him sincere, eyes fixed on Gun's beaming face as he pulls his face out of hiding to look at him. “I'm so proud of you.”

“Thank you for being here. I love you so much,” says Gun with that bright smile of his that Tinn can't resist. He’s never been able to resist it.

Tinn smiles back and, after murmuring, “I love you more,” he kisses his beautiful boyfriend senseless.

Suddenly, they are interrupted. An annoying throat clearing bursts their little bubble of love.

Without letting go of Gun, Tinn breaks apart from him to identify the source of the sound that has interrupted them. Gun does the same, turning his head behind him to find an older man looking at them nervously.

“Sorry to interrupt. My son and I are huge fans. I just wanted to know if I could get an autograph.” The man says this, looking really apologetic. Gun turns back to look at Tinn and realizes that he’s still hugging his boyfriend with arms and legs, like a koala. Feeling a bit embarrassed, he wiggles on Tinn until he lets him go, reluctant.

“Sure. No problem.” Gun says with a small smile as he takes the notebook and marker the man offers him. It’s unusual to find a fan of the age of the man, but hey! He’s no one to judge, and frankly, he’s grateful for any kind of support he and the band get. So, he tries to be as kind and not awkward as possible.

But he can’t deny that there's something off about this man. Tinn seems to feel it too because he gets closer to Gun, and a protective hand is placed on Gun’s waist. The familiar touch is comforting.

The man seems to notice that detail too, because when Gun gives back the autographed notebook, the man’s eyes drop briefly to his waist. Gun feels even more uncomfortable now, so much so that he feels the need to take a few steps back, but shockingly enough, the man stops him by grabbing him forcefully by the forearm.

It triggers an alarm in Gun’s head.

The next thing he feels is a bigger, more familiar hand on top of the man’s gripping hold.

“Let him go.” Tinn's deep voice is an octave lower than normal. Gun can feel the comforting presence of his boyfriend’s chest flushed against his back, his other hand still gripping his waist, protective. Tinn's whole body is around him, and Gun would be lying if he said it didn't help him feel safe.

The man must have sensed the dark and dangerous warning energy coming off Tinn's voice and gestures, because he immediately let go of Gun's arm. As soon as he lets go of his arm, Tinn pulls Gun behind him and places himself between Gun and the man as a protective barrier.

“You should go now.” Tinn says, his voice still carrying that dark tone Gun is not familiar with at all, and his body posture is so tense that Gun feels the need to try to calm him down by placing his hand on the small of his back.

“So, it’s true.” The man says this, alternating his look between the two of them. “I heard the rumors, but didn’t think they were true.”

Neither Tinn nor Gun understand what rumors he is referring to. But the man is quick to clarify what it’s all about.

“They say on social media that you were in a relationship but never thought it was a homosexual one.” He continues talking, making both of them more and more uncomfortable.

Gun can feel Tinn’s body tense up even more than before; His posture changes the slightest from one protective to one ready to defend and, if necessary, attack. Gun has seen it before, and he’s not sure he wants to see it again, so he hurries to place both his hands around Tinn's frame, just holding him but also reminding him that he was there with him. They’re together, and no one can hurt them if they’re with each other.

“Shouldn’t you be more focused on your fans than on dating around?” The man continues with his nonsense. At this point, Gun’s fed up.

“We’re leaving now. Have a nice day.” Gun says, trying to keep a cool head and be as kind as possible, even if the man didn’t deserve any of it. Pulling Tinn along with him, he tries to leave, not caring about the man’s response enough to stay there even for one more second.

But as he turns around, something stops him. He feels it before he sees it; the iron grip the man has again on his forearm is what is stopping him from moving ahead.

“My son is the same as you, you know. If you ever want to date someone else, he’ll be more than—”

It all happens so fast that Gun can't even realize what is happening until he feels his forearm being released. Tinn has freed him from the man's grasp, and now he looks extremely angry—more than angry, actually. He's pissed—the most pissed Gun has ever seen him.

“Don’t ever touch him again.” Tinn says with a deadly tone, almost breaking the man’s hand from how hard he’s holding it as he makes him back off several steps. Gun reaches Tinn and tries to stop him, but is useless as the hold Tinn has on the other man seems unbreakable. The expression on his face is restless.

Since when has he become this freaking strong?! It’s all Gun can think of, struggling to hold his angry boyfriend back.

“Tinn, let him go...” Gun whispers, practically fully hugging Tinn from behind.

“I’m not… I’m just…” The man tries to speak as he also tries to break free from Tinn’s gripping hand, but he doesn’t let go until he is far away enough from them.

“You’re leaving.” Tinn says, finally letting go of the man’s hand, to hold Gun instead.

“All I was trying to do was be a good parent and fan. But you people are so sensitive; that's why normal people can't stand you. I thought you were different—he says looking specifically at Gun—but you’re just like any of them, worthless…”

Gun feels Tinn’s entire body tense up again, and this time he’s not so sure he wants to stop him.

What is this man even talking about?

Break his fucking hand, Tinn!

It’s what he wants to say, but the security guy comes first.

“What is going on here?” The security guard that was before at the entrance steps in, questioning the man. “Do you have a VIP pass?”

Gun then proceeds to explain the whole situation as the security guard instructs the man to leave, not as kindly as Tinn and Gun have asked before.

But the man kept looking at them as if he wanted to make sure they knew he wouldn’t be leaving anytime soon. As if he were at the winning end of all this.

It made Tinn even more angry.

“Stay away from him.” Tinn demands, pointing at the guy who just smiles in their direction, causing Tinn to get much angrier.

“Stay the fuck away from him.” He repeats it even more demanding and threatening as the man insists on keep on mocking them.

“He’s gone. It’s okay. It’s okay, Tinn.” Gun says hurriedly, still hugging Tinn’s sides as the man is finally dragged outside.

“Are you alright?” Tinn asks as soon as he turns around to face Gun. He still looks annoyed, but mostly he looks worried.

“I’m okay. Are you okay?” Gun asks, cupping Tinn’s face, which is all red from how angry he was just a second ago.

“I'm better now.” He replies, leaning into the touch of Gun's soft hands. “Hate that he ruined the moment. Your moment.”

Gun smiles at that. “Did he?” He asks with a mischievous expression. Eyes beaming beautifully again. “I thought the best part was yet to come.” Gun whispers right into one of Tinn’s ears.

Making the boy tremble and blush for reasons very different from anger this time.

“Let’s go home.” Gun whispers again. Tinn doesn’t need to be told twice.

***

Hours later, in the comfort of the bedroom they share, they sit on the bed as they help each other dry their hair.

Tinn watches his boyfriend intently. Gun seems a little lost, too focused on the task at hand, and strangely quiet for how talkative he normally is.

“Gun, are you sure you're okay?” asks Tinn worriedly, stopping Gun's actions on his hair to bring his attention back to him.

And it works.

Gun's eyes turn to Tinn, looking at him confused, as if he hadn't understood the question, so Tinn repeats it, this time more gently.

“Are you okay, sweetheart?” he asks in the softest whisper, squeezing Gun's sides with both hands.

Gun only nods, avoiding Tinn’s eyes and keeping his head low. A soft blush creeps on his cheeks and ears. Tinn lets out a chuckle, charmed by the cuteness of his boyfriend.

“What's wrong, love?” He continues to ask softly as he slowly tucks Gun's chin up to make him look back at him.

Gun's eyes finally return to Tinn as he drops aside the towel he was using to dry Tinn's hair, just so he can quickly climb into his boyfriend's lap. Tinn is surprised at first, but in a natural reflex, his hands move on their own, placing themselves on Gun's hips to steady him in his lap.

Tinn’s full attention is on Gun’s every action.

“It’s just… I can’t stop thinking about it.” Gun admits, bringing both hands to his favorite spot; the back of Tinn's neck.

“About what that man said?” Tinn asks with a frown again. The mere thought of that man's words affecting his boy so much makes him angry again. He doesn't want Gun to worry about useless words that mean nothing. He's not going to let that man have such an impact on his boyfriend's pretty little head. “I don’t want you to keep thinking about that, love.”

“Don’t let him ruin your night.” Tinn whispers, getting closer to Gun until their foreheads are pressed.

“It’s not that…” Gun whispers back, closing his eyes. Hands going up to Tinn’s hair to caress it ever so softly.

Meanwhile, Tinn just looks at him intently, waiting.

“I keep thinking about how you stood up for us, me most of all.” Gun finally confesses, opening his eyes to stare at Tinn blatantly. “You seemed so fierce, so strong, so fascinating, and... and It felt like that last day of school all over again.”

Tinn is surprised and confused by Gun's confession, but especially by the last part.

“That last day of school... What do you mean?” asks Tinn, repeating Gun's words as he tries to remember.

“Don't you remember?” Gun asks with a small smile on his pretty lips, looking calmer now that he's said what was on his mind.

“The confrontation we had in the principal's office with your mother and the counselor.” Gun adds, and it all starts to click in Tinn's mind.

“The teacher started talking bullshit, and you snapped when he offended your mother. If Jorn and I weren't holding you by both arms, I'm sure you would have punched that man right in the face, and rightfully so, he was a complete jerk. I wanted to punch him too, but that was how I was back in those days, always ready for a fight and trouble. You, however... I didn't expect that reaction from you at all. It took me by surprise. You were so angry. I've never seen you like that.” Gun finishes, caressing the underside of Tinn's chin, gently, as he smiles mischievously.

“It made me realize how really amazing you were. Always ready to defend the people you love. So caring and gentle, yet fierce and brave, and... ridiculously attractive and… hot. I think I fell a little more in love with you at that moment.” Gun continues to confess, letting out a chuckle and feeling a little embarrassed.

“You found it hot?” Tinn asks with a surprised smile, still processing what his boyfriend has just confessed.

“That’s the only thing you take from everything that I said?!” exclaims Gun, his voice high pitched, clenching his hands into small fists, which he uses to gently punch Tinn's chest as they both let out small giggles.

“But, did you?” Tinn asks, taking one of Gun's hands between his own to briefly brings it to his lips as he places the other on Gun's lower back, pulling him closer to him.

“Of course I did, you dork! It was a new side of you that I didn’t know of, one that you don’t get to see as often. Actually, I hadn't seen it after that incident until, well... until today.”

Tinn’s smile immediately drops off. Putting all playfulness aside, he says with a deep scowl on his face.

“When that guy came up to you, dared to touch you, and said all those stupid things, I almost lost my mind. One more minute, and I would’ve broken all his fingers.”

“I could tell.” Gun says back with a seductive smile, pulling off his lips. “For a moment, I kind of wanted you to,” he adds in a deeper tone, getting closer to Tinn until their noses brush softly.

Tinn seems surprised by Gun's firm declaration, while Gun is pleased, leaning in so he can steal a deep kiss from his stunned boyfriend, who stands there as they kiss, holding himself tightly, clutching at Gun's waist.

“Are you shy?” Gun teases him when he notices Tinn is practically frozen in place, nuzzling Tinn’s nose to gain his attention.

It works.

Because Tinn immediately turns the tables.

He grabs Gun by the waist and turns him around swiftly, without Gun even noticing.

Caging his boyfriend against the mattress, Tinn leans into him until their lips are completely pressed together. Gun melts into the kiss with ease, hugging Tinn's body with both arms and legs. But when Tinn bites Gun's plump lips a little harder than usual, Gun is taken aback when a soft moan escapes his mouth, feeling shy, he pulls Tinn closer for a hug that soothes the embarrassment away.

“Now, who’s shy?” Tinn whispers in that low tone of his, making it even harder for Gun’s poor little heart to beat at a normal speed. He just keeps on whispering, unaware of the effect his voice is having on Gun, or maybe encouraged by it. “Are you feeling shy, sweetheart?”

He whispers that so that the last part is close enough to Gun's ear to make Gun tremble in his arms.

Poor Gun, just closes his eyes as he fights the burning blush that starts spreading furiously from his ears to his neck and all over his body.

At the lack of an answer, Tinn lets out another chuckle, finding it endearingly beautiful the way his boyfriend keeps reacting this flustered to his deep voice even after years of them being together.

“I'll take that as a yes,” he adds, now nibbling on Gun's bright red ear.

His kisses keep going lower and lower until they reach Gun's chest, that rises and falls with irregular, agitated breaths. Heart pounding agitated too.

“Gun, honey, your heart is beating like crazy...” Tinn points out the obvious, looking genuinely shocked.

“I-I… I told you before... when you use your deep voice to whisper like that, and turn me over or lift me up as... as if I don’t weigh anything... It- It’s hot.” Gun answers in the smallest voice.

Small hands covering part of his beautifully flushed cheeks.

He’s so pretty, Tinn wants to eat him whole.

“Is it too hot for you to handle, baby?” Tinn asks in another low whisper. And this time he just receives small nods, Gun’s hands still covering his pretty face.

A chuckle later, Tinn witnesses how Gun recovers from the effect his voice had on him, and he sees how resolution forms in his boyfriend’s cute face.

“If you don’t kiss me the next second, I’m gonna explode.”

Gun commands, as his grabby hands now close tightly over the collar of Tinn's pajama shirt.

And that's it for Tinn. He fully surrenders.

The atmosphere around them shifts for the nth time, as Gun grabs Tinn by the shirt tighter to pull him closer so he can bring their lips together one more time, beginning this time with a round of endless kissing that soon leads them to much more.

Notes:

This has been on my draft for a loooooong time. Finally putting it out here! Hope you all liked it.
Praying for the pride magic to finally pull me out of this goddamn writer’s block. It's boring and sad over here :(
