Walking back after a Christmas Eve dinner of cappelletti, Leone looked forlorn. “Bruno… I don’t want this trip to be all about me. Is there anything special that you want to do?”
“What are you talking about? It being our first Christmas together is special enough!” Bruno insisted. “And Thursday was special to me, too.”
Dissatisfied with Bruno’s answer, Leone tried to think of one himself—and he received one from the literal heavens, landing on his nose.
“So,” he grinned, glancing at the sky, “you said you’ve never seen snow?”
Bruno’s eyes twinkled with wonder.
“No way…!”
