Staff: Hello, thank you for having this meeting with us today.
Kijete: ....
S: Is something wrong?
K: I'm mad.
S: What are you mad about?
K: Zeta's abandoning me again.
S: Abandoning you?
K: Yeah! there's like a whole cycle.
S: What kind of cycle?
K: So Zeta goes to another universe or something, and meets another one of her, and then she learns a new fighting style from them.
S: Well that doesn't seem so--
K: AND THEN once she gets back she finds another red-colored mammal guy who ISN'T ME and starts giving them all the attention she used to give me.
S: well that's a bit--
K: Oh sure, she still feeds me and lets me ride on her back but she talks to them a lot more than she talks to me. Then she says she's sorry and gives me more grapes but then she goes to another world and it all happens again!
S: I...see. And how many times has this happened?
K: Twice.
S: That doesn't seem like enough to be a pattern, maybe if it happened a third time--
K: I don't WANT there to be a third time! What if I lose her? We were supposed to be best friends forever!
S: Could you describe what happened these two times?
K: Well, she went to the light-world and met that axe spirit guy, and they turned out to be the same guy and she learned to use axes from him, and then when she got back she started hanging out with that magic cat guy.
S: You mean G'raha Tia?
K: Yeah! he didn't do anything to deserve that, he just stood around creepily and acted smart and then acted like it made him a sad guy! And Zeta still cares about him more than me!
S: Well, they probably got to know each other when you weren't there.
K: That won't happen. I would never let Zeta be alone. She could get hurt without me!
S: Somehow I doubt that, given how small you are.
K: (grumble grumble)
S: Anyway, tell me about that other time.
K: So Zeta went into the dark-world to do some exploring, and then she gets all curious and she gets a weird crystal that makes a scary feather ghost show up. And I got the same feeling between them as when the axe spirit guy was there, so they gotta be the same guy too.
S: Have you asked Zeta about this?
K: She doesn't seem to care.
S: Right. Continue.
K: So Zeta and the scary feather ghost go back to the dark world and she can use a scythe now, and then sometimes they become the same SAME guy and start acting smug and stuff. Then when she's done with all that, the big axe girl shows up--
S: Wuk Lamat?
K: --And now all she talks about is wanting to hang out with her and fight about stuff with her! IT IS HAPPENING AGAIN!
S: Well, this is a big new stage of her life, and I'm sure she's not ONLY going to Tural to be with Wuk Lamat.
K: No she is. I can tell.
S: But she still keeps you close, right?
K: Yeah, she's been getting me a lot more bamboo shoots and apples than usual lately, but it's clearly because she's trying to keep me from getting upset at her!
S: I think you may be a bit paranoid about this...
K: Just saying, I met another me from another world recently you don't see ME abandoning Zeta. It's basic decency.
S: Kijete, do you know what "Having friends" is?
K: Yeah that's what me and Zeta do.
S: Zeta might be making other friends. It doesn't mean she's abandoning you.
K: I'll believe it when I see it.
