Notes:

Hiya! This song started maybe three years ago, in the form of a poem. The idea of challenging determinism in the soulmates au was what drew me to Resonance. The realistic way that it's written was why I stayed c:

For this song I focused on the contrast between Kirishima's and Bakugo's characters in the earlier chapters, say chapter 1 to 8? I wrote this from Bakugo's pov bc ooo babey the avoidance.

The project has been ping-ponging in my brain like the windows screensaver for the past years. So I'm really happy that I can finally share it with you! I hope you can recognize parts of the fic in the lyrics.

Notes:

Fun fact: I found a google doc with cool quotes from chapters 1 to 10 that past me used as inspiration, hahah. Also honourable mention to scorpiosomnium for their comment on chapter 16, "[...] eijiro's desire to be loved and katsuki's fear to be hurt [...]" ugh I love you. This insightful line became part of my first verse and pre-chorus!
