“So this is the town of the Leaflands, it’s quite nice for a change compared to the likes of Ryu.” Hikari thought to himself.
The town of Cropdale was about to celebrate the coming of spring with a festival by the locals. Everyone in some way was busy with the preparations, from gathering decorations to people chatting just outside their homes while the smell of fresh raspberry pies filled the air.
“ What is this?” Hikari thought to himself.
On the ground was a little embroidered pouch filled with at least 10 thousand leaves, and a name was it.
”Agnea Bristarni.” He reads out the name.
”Oh you found my purse! Thank you so much!” A young lady runs up with a pretty black headband adorned with a rose.
”Agnie, did ya drop your purse again? Honestly don’t mind her, she can be quite the clumsy gal sometimes.”
”Pala, now don’t embarrass me in front of a random stranger… Anyways, what’s your name?”
”Oh me? My name is Hikari, prince of Ku. A pleasure to meet your acquaintance, Lady Agnea.” He bows to her in show of respect.
”Agnie did ya hear that?! He’s a prince.. at least if anything say something..” she whispered.
Agnea receives back her purse. “Well then Hikari, would you like to watch the festival dance? I’ll be performing in it before I set off on my journey to become a star.”
”That would be nice.” He smiled.
The light shines on Agnea as she gracefully dances across the stage, and her demeanor, her elegance shines as she moves like a butterfly.
Hikari gazes from afar as she dances her heart out to welcome in the spring.
”Hehe, Agnie’s dancing always finds a way to captivate someone, even if they are just a stranger to our little town. Please protect her as she sets out on her journey will ya?” Pala asked.
Hikari gave a slight nod to her as he witnessed the dance.
”Thank you everyone for enjoying the performance tonight, I am happy and honored to be your little dancer!” Agnea bowed at the audience.
After the crowd dispersed, she went off to find Hikari.
”So.. how was the performance?” She asked.
”It was breathtaking. I have a feeling that you might wanna do that again for me.” He laughed.
”Hehe, anything to make any guest feel welcome regardless of where they are from. Just bring smiles and hope.” She laughed.
The glistening stars danced around as they relish their time together. Perhaps it was the fate of them being blessed by the gods to journey together within the fleeting spring.
