Ace was walking through woods behind campus, he should have right now his club activities, yeah... Should... but he left today earlier in hurry
With his basketball jersey throwed over his shoulder and hair still tied. He basically changed into his school uniform and called it a day
Did something happened at club? Other than losing again and being hit with all like... 3 times???
Maybe the reason for his bad luck at club was the same reason he overslept to class, got his lunch stolen (and it was not Grim this time) and got nearly collared
Yeah... That was surely one of those days where everything was just going like... Shit...
He sat down under one of apple trees in woods, throwing his club uniform on ground
Ace: "I'll go back later when day is over"
As much as normally he would just go to his friends, today he didn't felt like it... Also most of his friends still had their club activities or/and other "interesting" plans
And moment to catch a breath won't hurt... Right?
He looked into sky, he was hearing a thunder... Yet sky was all clear with only few white clouds... Was he hearing things?
Better not be thunder... He dont want to come back to his dorm yet
He then looked in different direction, once on other trees, then on path that was going from NRC, to deeper part of forest and then at apples falling from tree
One of the apples was falling... Slowly...
Very slowly to the point Ace thought that he's seeing things, until apple didn't stopped right in front of him and was now hanging in the air
... Was someone trying to scare him right now in the most poser way possible? If yes... They do it horribly
He grabbed flying apple, he couldn't feel any magic coming from it
At least he has ammunition to throw at Epel now, because there is no way he's gonna eat that
???: "Oh dear oh..."
A familiar voice....?
Ace immidiately looked in a way a voice is coming from... Is that... Deuce...? But- Not Deuce...?
What is he doing here... Doesn't he have club to attend...?
The costume he was wearing was similiar to the one he was wearing on White Rabbit Fest, with few changes
There is no way those rabbit ears were fake when they were located on both sides of the hat, attached to his head, a spade from his face is completly gone and a clock that was previously attached to his ribbon, was now in his hands as he was looking at it... Was he running late for something?
This weird Deuce havent noticed him, and instead kept walking deeper into woods
Ace stood up from his place dropping the apple he was previously holding and started running after him, trying to be unnoticed
?Deuce?: "Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear... I'll be so late..."
Rabbit said as he looked into his clock and changed his walking pace into running, he was fast, Ace must give him that
Blue haired man ran through a bushes of leaves, Ace thought for a moment he lost him, until he didn't crossed those bushes himself
In front of him there was standing a tree and under it, was places rabbit hole, he could swore that for a brief moment he saw a pair of rabbit ears in there
He kneeled down and looked into hole, inside was... Bigger than he surely expected, this couldn't be his imagination...
Ace: "Deuce! Deuce!! My bro! Are you there!?"
He yelled into rabbit hole, he could swore that he saw rabbit ears
Ace: "... What the hell is wrong with this man..."
He hesitated a bit, before he placed his foot inside rabbit hole and kneeled down just so he could walk in it
His only source of light was the way he get in and the light on the other side of the tunnel
After few seconds he didn't need to walk on his knees and could normally walk on his two legs
Ace: "I didn't know that rabbit hole can be this big..."
He said to himself, how does such thing can fit barely half of the meter in ground
He was so close to the exit and leaving this rabbit hole... Until
Ace: "AA-"
The ground under his feet broke revealing a huge hole, in which he fall down
His previous source of light completly dissapeared, it was only darkness of underground
A perfect moment to regret every decision he made just to end up in fuck-hole, because of some white rabbit... What was he even thinking while following him?!
He didn't even realised he had his eyes closed, ready for hitting a ground... But instead he was... Falling slower?
A wind that was previously on him because of speed of falling, now completly dissapeared, a similair feeling to the one when he was flying in Flight class
An unknown source of weak light around him, was showing that it was not only ground in stones
Some parts of the hole he was falling in, were cyramic broken walls, with black-whote diamonds pattern
As he was slowly falling down, he was passing by multiple candles with metal candleholders, glass cups and pots, books, that were flying in the air in multiple directions
The deeper he was falling, the more his surrounding was feeling like some sort of room instead of underground rabbit hole
The sight of dirt completly dissapeared, showing off non-broken white-black walls, furniture that was flyinf around, and even some windows that were showing the same view... An orange sky
Ace: "Where am I...?"
His surrounding completly became house like, when he looked up there was no single sight of previous rabbit hole
Ace: "I cant keep falling forever there must be- OH?!- fuck"
As he said, he finally landed down on big old armchair, that was from ground to top covered in leaves and dirt
?Deuce?: "Oh my furry ears and whiskers, look how late its getting..."
Ace looked at him up and down, meanwhile "Deuce" wasn't even aknowleadging he's here, even tho he was standing right in front of him, instead he was looking at his clock with worry as his ears were flopped down
Then without further explanation he started running towards opposite direction, deeper into hall
Ace: "WAIT! COME BACK!"
He yelled but white rabbit didn't listened, and ran through the door that were at end of the hall and closed them behind
Ace: "... Of course..."
He said as he stood up from armchair, he was in middle of some hall, which had wooden walls without windows, with multiple doors on each wall. A floor that had the same pattern as the ones he saw when he was falling — black-white diamond pattern
With only light sources being candles on walls and the light coming from hole which Ace just fallen through
Ace: "At this point I might just as well fall through whole planet to the other side... Wonder in which country I would be..."
He dusted himself off of dirt noticing... "Slight" changes in his clothing
Ace: "And when did this happened?!"
Ace: "Alright- I magically changed my clothing. Nothing surprising, if you consider the fact that Im still in country of magic, question is... WHO or WHAT and WHEN."
He looked at the door on other side of the hall, the same door used by Deuce.. if he can even call him that
He started walking towards it, looking down at his own self, without paying much attention to the evironment
Ace: "Lesson of the day, never follow a rabbit that looks just like your boyfriend. This MUST be some sort of fever dream because there is no fucking way- OW-"
He placed his hand on his head in place which he got hit, he looked up and realised that his head was now basically touching the ceiling... Did hall shrinked or did he just grew bigger?
Ace didn't felt anything happening, it happened out of nowhere
The door was now half of his size, so he has to kneel down to open it properly
As he opened the door without problem, it revealed a white room shaped like a circle. With 5 doors (including the one he opened), and floor in white-red diamond shaped pattern. No ceiling... Just white bright light
He then looked at himself again
Ace: "When did I-"
He was his normal size again, maybe even few inches shorter than that, if you compare him to the door. Since there was no need in being on his knees, now that he was in somehow human height, he stood up from floor and entered white room
This place and its magic was unusual, everything was happening out of nowhere and the worst part is, ot was hard to tell what will happen next, because, so far, his surrounding was changing his own size as it please
The door closed with bang, as he entered
He walked towards first door on his left, he tried to open it... Nothing
Then another door on other side of the room... Those were also closed
And another door... No results
Ace: ". . . Now that I'm in, how do I get out?"
In slight desperation, he ran to doors from which he came in, tried to open it... Closed
He looked at room as a whole trying to look for something useful, panic was raising with every second, there must be a way to leave...
He noticed small glass table in middle of the room, was it there before? At this point no one knows
He tried to get closer look, and noticed keys... Keys so small they could be easily unnoticed at first glance, they were easily size of a fingernail if not smaller
Those keys are definitefly for a door, but those were too small for any of those in this room, but he tried to open doors with those keys anyway, maybe it will somehow work..? He walked to first door, put keys in lock trying not to drop them, because otherwise they would be stuck inside door. He moved keys a little, but nothing happened... No sound or move
Ace: "At least SOME of the logic applies here..."
He said sarcastically
He was trying to think of something
Ace: "I have keys... But what now.."
The room he was in had 5 doors and was in shape of a perfect circle, the 4 doors he sees are perfectly in front of eachother so 2 doors were in straight line, and are placed in the same distance from each other... So it wouldn't make sense for it to be odd number, because 5th door are left out of scheme
He looked at those one doors that didn't had a pair placed in straight line
If the room was schemed in way it thinks, there would be a door placed in straight line from this one.. and it would be exactly... Behind him
He turned around and noticed a wall, that was mostly covered with huge white piece of material, it was probably a curtain of some sort, it was similiar color to walls so it was not first thing to notice
He started walking closer, but stopped on his tracks when curtain magically out of nowhere went a little up, uncovering a feet tall door
Ace: "Here are our 6th doors"
He said and kneeled down to put small keys in it, they fit perfectly, then he pulled a door handle and looked inside
