Anonymous Forum #4265
Luofu Law is honestly one of the most sought out law firms ever. The most significant reason as to why is both to the thanks of founders Jing Yuan and Fu Xuan. (FYI If you’re going to say Sir Jing is lazy, please go to #anonymousforum2541 and read the top comment by @succulentslumber. Thank you.)
But there’s this one thing, given that Lady Fu is a VERY disciplined woman and leader, she has little to no private life known at all. But recently, I saw a post on Satiate by a user named caelleventures with Lady Fu in it. This is the post and caption “Hehehe, look who finally agreed to hang out with us”. If you’re going to say the picture in the post isn’t Lady Fu, then you don’t know her. One, her hands are literally just like Lady Fu’s with the same pure jade bracelet (that we still don’t know anything about!!!!!) on her wrist. In addition, you can see a bit of her signature pink hair. Thoughts?

I didn’t think I would be @ in a post like this. Honestly, who cares if Jing Yuan is lazy or not after you spout this BS? Lady Fu wants her life private for reasons like these. Stop being nosy. Your reasons for it being her are dumb too.

I agree with all the people hating. But you want a serious response? Glad Lady Fu has friends, haha. What is your reasoning for this post? Lol.
***
“Did you hear of the drama?” Jing Yuan knew that his and Fu Xian’s company had some meddlers who liked to gossip, but to this level, even he was surprised.
They’re gossiping about some post he vaguely remembers being sent a link to by Yanqing the other night in their groupchat.
Fu Xuan hasn’t seen it, he knows because despite the fact the woman doesn’t sleep until sunrise is approaching, it’s because she’s actually doing work, and barely gets a few hours of sleep before going back to more work.
He didn’t know of Fu Xuan having friends, actually, but he doesn’t mind. This is probably a new development. The most he knows is some fleeting mentions of “a bothering but cute new worker” in one of the departments.
Maybe she knows Caelus and Stelle — the two people who share the account that started the drama in the first place — through that particular worker.
“Good morning, Lady Fu!” A group of tired out workers stand up at the sight of Fu Xuan open the door and holler their greetings, Fu Xuan named it a wake up call for her every morning and even began to share a bond with it. Yeah, Fu Xuan really needs friends, maybe it’s not that worker after all.
Of course, with the greeting welcomed hushed whispers of gossip which Fu Xuan certainly didn’t miss, Jing Yuan assesses from the rise of her eyebrow.
“Jing Yuan, did anything happen?” She says, and honestly? Jing Yuan doesn’t hear anything, only distracted by how Fu Xuan smells different.
This isn’t just her renewing the perfume brand she seems to absolutely worship which only sells one scent. This is something new.
It’s nowhere near as revolting as the previous brand she had which would be so strong it would be able to keep her awake for days. It’s a gentle, subtle scent.
“You smell different.”
“What?” Fu Xuan says, almost bashfully if he thinks enough.
“You smell different,” Jing Yuan repeats, tilting his head for her to elaborate. He can’t tell what exactly she smells like, but it’s something like strawberries.
“Oh.” She blushes, Fu Xuan blushes! “It’s.. well… I’m trying out a new scent. Freesia. Pink Freesia, to be exact. A… friend of mine suggested it.”
A friend. A friend. Fu Xuan actually has friends. “I’m happy for you.”
“What?” She asks for the second time, and Jing Yuan has no chance to go on further before an intern rushes to Fu Xuan with a billion papers he knows she’ll eventually just take and do herself.
The day goes absolutely wonderfully for the law firm, with Lady Fu’s pleasant mood. She seems happier — and Jing Yuan is glad she’s somewhat unaware of all the drama encapsulating her even if it means he’ll get a barrage of angry texts later.
And angry texts did he get.
Lady Fu
Jing Yuan, why didn’t you tell me about all of the ongoing predicaments when we encountered one another at the firm?
Well, what Fu Xuan’s level of anger is. She’s quite civil in text, no matter how much Jing Yuan tries to tease her. She keeps her messages curt and short, since she isn’t quite used to not rambling about her passion and love for law and justice and all that.
He sends her off with a good luck and decides it’s time to go out drinking after it’s been so long.
Jing Yuan
A drink?
Jingliu
It’s unlike you to want drinks.
Blade
Pass.
That’s all he needs to urge himself to indulge. Dan Feng — no, he’s named himself as Dan Heng now after his amnesiac act — doesn’t even bother replying.
Blade…he makes his chances to reply whenever he can, still stuck into the past the same way he himself is, but he doesn’t want anything to do with Jing Yuan.
And Jingliu is Jingliu. Jing Yuan misses her more than anyone — maybe he misses Baiheng more? Since she’s dead? — but she’s not… she’s not the same. He can’t lay his finger on it, and frankly, he doesn’t want to either.
But that’s a topic for another day, he thinks, as he grabs some expensive wine he got from some businessman at his last birthday banquet.

“Hello, everybody, it’s Lil Gui!” Guinaifen starts to the livestream she’s opened up, mentioning she’s doing a real time Q&A for her 500,000 subscriptions. Honestly? Sushang is happy she’s getting attention, she deserves it, after trying so hard.
“Survival and tips, thank you for the five dollars! And, I live in the Xianzhou, Luofu to be exact! Yep, I live a few minutes away from Luofu Law’s HQ, hehe.” One question in, and this is a dumb idea. Why are they doing this? For what purpose?
But of course, Guinaifen has more important reasons (like getting subscribers).
Sushang feels a nudge on her left, from the foreign girl, who pushes her face to the camera before asking one of the most idiotic questions ever, “A viewer asks if you’re ever going to act in sexual films, Sushang!”
Has Guinaifen forgotten that the two of them are very well barely adults? Has Guinaifen forgotten that whatever Sushang says, she’ll get in trouble with her agency?
“Haha, these type of questions are better suited for an interview.” Sushang hopes to end this quickly but she knows it’s futile.
“Sushang, I get a hundred if you answer this question,” Guinaifen tries to whisper, keyword tries, “I got a twenty for simply asking you, so get on with it!”
“…I doubt I will if it isn’t a side or background role. I would rather not engage in sexual scenes because of my strength lying in action and fantasy films and shows.” Sushang opts to recite an answer she was told to memorize when she was still a child actor and nosy journalists sexualized her.
“Wow, formal answer from Miss Actress! Thank you dear sire for the seventy! Heh, I guess her answer wasn’t worthy for the hundred, huh?” Guinaifen does a little celebration with her fist to herself, one of her habits, she’s come to know.
And then Guinaifen goes on to answer more random questions, Sushang tunes her out, only deciding to focus when she hears one of their friends’ names because she’d rather not have Guinaifen accidentally put them in any drama.
“Galaxy Submitter asks, have you guys heard of the Luofu Law drama since you live close to the HQ, well, to be honest, yes, I’ve heard. I dunno if you know, commenter, but Sushang and me are friends with the original posters of the first post!” Why is she throwing Caelus and Stelle under the bus now? Should Sushang stop before she causes anything bad?
“Anywho, it’s going real high, huh? To be honest, the post means nothing… So what if Fufu is friends with us?” Sushang hates to admit, but Guinaifen has a point. So what if Fu Xuan is friends with some random philanthropists, an actress, and a streamer? So what if Fu Xuan has a pretty jade bracelet?
Sushang knows the bracelet isn’t something Fu Xuan got herself, a girl like her doesn’t treat herself out by getting herself gifts, she gives herself sleep. It was a gift, but the public don’t know Fu Xuan the way she does.
So who are they to suddenly assume it’s a significant other — even if it is? Sushang wanders off to her room, tuning out everything Guinaifen says to try to get her to come back for more subscribers’ donations, she’ll send an apology later.
Sushang
hope ur ok
Fu Xuan
It’s nothing, Sushang. Don’t worry your head off. Although it is rather idiotic, I’ll clear it up in an interview.
Sushang

Sushang
Lmaooo
idk it’s js
it pissws me off so hard
why do they care sm
Sushang texts Guinaifen for a little while before deciding to go in their Ghost Hunting Groupchat.
It was just for fun because they investigated crimes in some alleyway town and chased down gangsters that were like “ghosts”. In return, they did get some medallions from a site that goes something like Gangster Grove.
She remembers the day they got a million and Guinaifen spamming the chats with thank yous and I love you Gods.
Sushang
come over rn to me and guinaifens apt?

oh!! i can :)
i finished work early!! mr tail can come?

Bailu
!!!!!!!! YES
YESS 100%
Maybe that’s when it all went wrong. Inviting them over.
Because of course, Caelus and Stelle, as they absolutely must, take a picture and it goes viral on those forums for the second time.
This time, it’s not a picture with Fu Xuan in the edge. It’s a picture of them all together, drinking some beer cans, Bailu with a non-alcoholic beverage, and they’re absolutely wasted.
Remind them again to drink while a minor is over? She can’t even recall when they added Bailu to their friend group.

RECAP of all the recent drama (2000+ new posts because of it in the past few days)
@/caelleventures on Satiate posted something with the caption “Hehehe, look who finally agreed to hang out with us”. And a lady in that image — without her face shown — looked like Lady Fu. Some pink hair and a pure jade bracelet were visible.
Once this was posted, a user on this forum posted something about it asking others of their thoughts (#anonymousforum4265). Next, just last night, @/caelleventures posted another picture, but without Fu Xuan. The caption was “Late night hang outs with the Ghost Crew”. These are some funny comments BTW:
“mfs who don’t know the ghost crew tryna add some law firm nobody into it. they’re iconic and certainly not some charity foundation for this pink girl” by @/cursesonmysoul
“Guys stop dissing lady fu like this. Her jade bracelet is worth like 2m (Yes i calculated). She doesn’t work w poor ppl.” bt @/liefsavei

Is this seriously gaining traction because Fu Xuan has friends and one day she doesn’t post them? Embarrassing that we’re being known for this now…
Did she really download this app just to see the gossip? Yeah. Is it worth it? No. Sushang thought it would be more eventful — so why is Fu Xuan’s PR team getting so scared over it?
Nevermind. It’s just like how the media will never know Fu Xuan the same way Sushang does. Maybe Sushang herself doesn’t get Fu Xuan the way the PR team does.
She thinks of sending out a message to Fu Xuan, to let her know she doesn’t have to go through this alone, but that’s… it’s not her place to do so.
All she does is send a “GL to us all” in their main groupchat. And it seems everyone gets the hint and sends praying emojis. Except Qingque who says “Good luck or girl love?”.
***
Fu Xuan doesn’t know why everyone thinks this is a big deal, to the PR team, to everyone really.
A post of her out hanging with Caelus and Stelle (also Qingque, but the public doesn’t know that) goes viral. So what? And now people want to know about her jade bracelet?
It was a gift from Qingque. She’d spent two million on it — all to give Fu Xuan a promise. Fu Xuan’s more than thankful, she never gifts herself like this, a good reward is a good nights sleep after all, but Qingque obviously thinks otherwise.
Qingque had given her a pure jade bracelet and in return, Fu Xuan gave her a spot in her bedroom — or rather, a place as her roommate.
This was a new development. She doesn’t really get the ring of dating yet, but she figures that if she lives together with Qingque, their relationship will be easier.
After all, Qingque was never at her own house, always having sleepovers and gamble parties more of her priorities. But ever since she moved in with Fu Xuan, she’s home more often than not (only yesterday, when she was in the more recent post in Caelus and Stelle’s shared account, did she sleep somewhere that wasn’t home, or well, in Fu Xuan’s bed).
But she can’t talk either. Even if she does sleep home, she doesn’t necessarily sleep in her bed. She dozes off on her desk, having done some paperwork overnight and practically passes out before Qingque drapes a blanket over her.
Besides that, she feels bad for Caelus and Stelle more than so herself. Fu Xuan is involved in a lot of scandals, given considering her stature, and she doesn’t want the kind philanthropists they are to get in trouble for it.
PR Lady Ellis[document attached]
Fu Xuan is feeling a bit more distracted with Ellis’ message. The document is nothing but the background they’ve laid out and a bunch of questions they expect will be asked.
This is dumb. But so is Fu Xuan.
***
“Oh, no, haha,” Meira can feel her ears rotting at Fu Xuan’s next robotic response. She was excited to do this interview with such a prestigious person, but no wonder they put an intern like her up to the task.
Fu Xuan — a woman involved with some pointless drama her cousin sent her a link of over lunch — is completely and utterly an android. She’s not real, Meira convinces herself.
“Oh, and a special question,” She hopes Fu Xuan will answer that one, “Your jade bracelet, huh?”
And she does. And Meira has to take a second to stop and compose herself because she knows she’s gaping. And so is Fu Xuan.
Fu Xuan’s eyes widened slightly at the surprise of the question, as if it wasn’t on the document of questions she’d memorized (seriously, when will companies stop doing that? the best reaction is the most unexpected after all), and blushed.
Yeah, this is money. She’s not just a fodder intern. She’s a genius and she will make that bank. This is her year.
“It’s, well, a treat I got from my friends. They are quite generous.” Fu Xuan says, and Meira can actually classify it as truth, but she doesn’t know if that’s good or bad.
After a few more questions, they finish up, and Fu Xuan looks more than just relieved. Business is business, but even Meira can feel a bit of pity.
She’s not been doing interviews for long, but her mother certainly has — and according to her — it’s hell. That’s fine, Meira will break the cycle anyway, mom isn’t as good as she thinks she is.
The recording isn’t all that bad, they took around an hour total, and there were a few good reactions.
The drama will subside — if Fu Xuan doesn’t do anything. Or her friends. Most of everything so far was her friends.
Meira doesn’t get the public, maybe that’s the only thing her mom can one-up her on. When she’s confused with any reaction, she “runs to mommy” (her words not Meira’s).
Meira

Keeping Up With Star Rail New Interview
During the Event: “Insider Intern”, an interviewer (named Meira Arender, daughter of Diya Arender, maiden name Singh) had an hour with Fu Xuan of Luofu Law. In the video, Fu Xuan gets nervous when asked of the topic of her jade bracelet but says her generous friends bought it for her. Next Interview will be recent intern & genius Stephen Lloyd (who isn’t even an interviewer) with Sir Sunday of Penacony.

“Sir — Jing Yuan! Do you have anything to say?!” Yanqing can only wince as Jing Yuan helps him push their way through the crowd.
It’s absolutely foolish, really, an allegation stating that Luofu Law bribed the judges to win a recent case that wasn’t all that important had gone all over the globe.
Yanqing can’t talk though. He’s still a newbie, and Jing Yuan still(!!!) thinks he needs some teaching. In his opinion, chess is not a good way to decide if someone can be a lawyer or not.
Of course, he did hear out his mentor. Jing Yuan said that law is a test of logic and patience, just like chess is. He still thinks it’s bullshit.
Jing Yuan probably isn’t in the mood to hear that right now. He looks real distraught and Yanqing thinks, ‘I might as well prepare for a situation like this when I grow up’.
Biting on the straw of the boba Fu Xuan handed him in the morning as she bid him farewell for war, he gets why they were so stressed over this.
Is this how getting harassed for having friends felt like? Weird. But this time it makes sense, so he shrugs.
He has better things to bother with right now. But Jing Yuan would disagree. Really, does anyone believe that Luofu Law would do that? It’ll die down in a week! No need to over react! (He can already hear Fu Xuan’s nagging.)
Abruptly pulled out of his thoughts, Yanqing’s sight is covered by a waving hand and that’s all he needs to wriggle his wrist from Jing Yuan’s god awful grip, because really, since when was the Dozing Founder strong?
He heads over to Bailu and finally sighs a little bit, “I really thought we couldn’t hang out when the Founder messaged me…”
“Hehe! Thank your favorite High Elder Bailu for that!” She jumps. This is a 17 year old girl. And she’s calling herself an elder. Even Yanqing is older than her.
“Anyway, guess what Guinaifen said about a particular mystery?” Bailu shakes her hands around and Yanqing knew this was a bad idea; that wasn’t saying he’s not gonna join in though, of course.
“Yes. Oh my gosh, yes. A million times yes! Let’s do it!” Yanqing celebrates before Bailu has to ruin his joy since apparently having some fun after weeks of Jing Yuan’s laborious program isn’t acceptable. Fuck her.
“I’m not proposing to you, calm down, youngster,” He doesn’t really know what’s made her speak like this — the fact her mom was a creep who barely exists, or the fact her dad was really ugly. Yanqing knows, Jing Yuan’s showed him pictures!
“Let’s do it, okay, what are the culprits, wait, can we buy red yarn? Who will get the cork board?” Yanqing had always dreamt of getting one of those unsolved murder cases he sees all over Tattle Tale that go viral.
Bailu stares, more glaring really, and pushes his wrist just like Jing Yuan did, but obviously much more weak, did he mention Bailu is weak?
Guinaifen
PROJECT SOLVE A CASE FOR QINGQUE AND HER BESTIES GO
Qingque
kekw u don’t need to do this
This was a very bad idea with Guinaifen in charge.
***
This was a very good idea.
Bailu knew they could do it, really she did! Especially with the fact they had her, a High Elder, on their side.
She doesn’t know why — but she even has a fan club! Although they’re a little edgy. A girl who keeps calling her the name of her mother, a guy who looks like he wants to self harm everytime he sees her, her estranged brother who completely left her to the wolves, and her uncle, Jing Yuan.
Well, he’s not really her uncle, she figured that out. But he acts more than any uncle could.
Qingque somehow managed to acquire some files on the case — how did she do that? She’s not very close with Qingque, just knows she’s some junior worker at Fu Xuan and Jing Yuan’s company.
Anyway, after having spent her entire life learning dumb laws and becoming aware of dumb media, she thinks she’s a pro.
“Wow, Bailu, you’re 17! You can’t talk!” Is what she hears instead of being fawned over once she tells Stelle her story.
Is it really not believable? It’s obviously the fact they were actually bribed!
“…Calm down, Stelle.” Caelus laid a hand on his twin’s shoulder, which in return he received an offensive push, “Don’t worry, Lulu. It’s just…we have grounds to trust Luofu Law, or well Jing Yuan.”
After receiving a look from Qingque, which she still can’t define but has been seeing around recently, he adds, “And Lady Fu… Of course.”
Oh. Bailu thinks she gets it now. “Uhm, does this mean— does this mean Miss Qing is… in cahoots with Lady Fu?!”
“Heh, cahoots is one way to put it.” She chuckles in response as she plays some round of Celestial Jade on her phone. Bailu remembers her saying the game is amazing and she’ll spread it across the globe.
Caelus chokes before he gets up and acts like some authority while Sushang groans as if she’s sick of this. Yanqing looks like he’s going to pass out any second. Huohuo was petting her (very cute) dog, and Bailu let out her hand to touch a piece of its fur. Fluffy.
“Mr. Tail calms me down, really, I mean…even if I’m a detective, why did they call me over…” Bailu almost snorts, before reassuring to Huohuo’s fears.
“You’re a genius, girl, you can do it.” Yeah, maybe she could’ve had a better technique but she’s doing it Bai way or Bye way. She made that line, she’s a genius, really.
She passes the files to Huohuo and lets her do her work while she’s rubbing her hand against Tail, “Oh…I get it.”
Yes! She must’ve come up with the same solution at Bailu!
“This was done by an ally of Luofu Law but, without telling Luofu Law. Does that…make sense?” She tilts her head and both Bailu and Yanqing shake their heads, but Sushang seems to agree.
“Wait, that makes sense. Guinaifen, fact check it!” She tugs at Guinaifen excitingly, whom is still talking about her theory of how it’s the company trying to screw themselves over to Stelle, Caelus, and Qingque.
They need some cooperation.
***
Qingque’s taken over some leadership now, and Huohuo surprisingly finds herself at peace with that.
She only knows Qingque through Stelle and Caelus since they met while gambling, but she knows despite her laziness, she works hard.
And… is probably dating Lady Fu. While Lady Fu is one of the people with the most integrity she’s ever met, her being roommates, yes, roommates, she still hasn’t gotten use to that yet, with Qingque isn’t very… ideal. The only way is love, they say.
It seems Qingque is also very different when it comes to her girlfriend. All for the sake of Fu Xuan’s company, she’s let go of her phone where she was playing Celestial Jade and cursing out aunties over 50.
“Mn, we just need to see who Luofu Law is in partnership with… wait, this means we have to meet up with either Fu Xuan or Sir Jing, ugh.” She groans, and it’s endearing to Huohuo how she calls Lady Fu so casually. She rubs Mr. Tail just a little bit softer, this is young love (Qingque is older than her), isn’t it?
They all choose a next meeting time, and agreed that it’s much easier to get Jing Yuan over since he’s the one that opts for breaks much more than Fu Xuan does, in fact, Huohuo remembers reading an article about how Fu Xuan didn’t skip work even for Lunar New Year, but it seems she does take her breaks then now for her girlfriend, Huohuo presumes.
“Oh, Huo, you’re going shopping right? Do you mind if I join in?” Qingque asks and Huohuo nods. Even though Xueyi is already coming with her, the more the merrier.
That’s what she thought anyway. Xueyi and Qingque don’t really seem to get along as much as she expected. “We should not engage in the act of stealing anything, Qing.”
“You speak like a robot, might as well be one in another life… Ergh, I was just kidding, okay, Miss Nosy Detective!” Qingque huffs and it feels nice. Even though they’re arguing, and even though they probably hate each others’ guts, Huohuo’s happy to have her friends, Qingque and Xueyi are her friends, she hopes, meet.
“I must clarify that I am not a robot. Huo, there is a pet care station located within this mall. It would be better for Mr. Tail to be responsible for people that are not easily distracted.” Huohuo nods, and gives Mr. Tail’s leash a tight squeeze as she pets him, handing him over to an employee.
“Oh, you got a tag on ‘em? Can never trust these mall workers.” Qingque says. Right in front of the employee. She’s quite direct, isn’t she?
“I concur with Qing's suggestion, Huo. Despite my previous statement regarding preference for Mr. Tail to be in the company of caretakers, it is better to ensure that he is properly tagged.” Nevermind. Qingque and Xueyi get along quite fine, they have lots in common.
After telling them that Tail does in fact have a tag, one she spent even thousands on, they go around several shops, but Huohuo notices Qingque’s eyes on a particular one.
Does she want to…? “Qing, I see you eyeing that workplace. I must assume you are interested in its items. Shall we occupy and raid it?”
“Who’s the thief now, Xueyi!”
***
“Mm…Well, I agree with Huohuo’s thinking process more than anything.” Jing Yuan tries to politely shut down Guinaifen’s theory and Sushang thinks it’s absolutely hilarious.
“Well… fine, I guess.” Guinaifen succumbs to both Huohuo and Jing Yuan’s experience, and they start to all look through the files of partnership that they have with other companies. Which is…more than she expected.
They’re in Qinque’s apartment, but of course, Qingque is still on her phone playing Celestial — wait, no, she’s not? She’s. Looking. Through. Files. Wow, Sushang is impressed.
Qingque is older than her but this level of responsibly is nowhere to be seen elsewhere. It’s because of Fu Xuan, she knows, and it’s nice, actually.
“Oh, this file has some contenders!” Stelle yells out loud, while her brother seems defeated. Were they playing games on who can find someone suspicious first? Of course they were. Of course. This is just a game for them all, isn’t it?!
“Thirsty Treat? We give them our lawyers and they give us stocks of their products to put in our company cafeteria. I don’t think it could be them, but I’ll look for more files on the database.” Jing Yuan shrugs, and Sushang’s glad they’ve left the company laptop in his hands, anyone else would probably drop it and break it into pieces.
Sushang decides to join him since she’s finished all the files they’ve given her anyway and no one seems like they’d want to screw over the opposing firm like that.

“Your database is weird as hell,” Sushang states and Jing Yuan chuckles.
“It’s an old one. This laptop is special — it’s the database Fu Xuan and I set up when we were first imaging being owners of a firm.” He reminisces, and Sushang shrugs, guessing he does that a lot.
“Anyway, they’re suspicious, especially with this Miss Marinae.” He gets in the mood, and tells everyone he’ll be checking them out and to tell him when they find anyone else suspicious.
After looking through a few more leads, Sushang is absolutely convinced it must be Thirsty Treat. What else could it be, really?
Messages - Fu Xuan
[document attached]
Take a look at this.
Why are you at my apartment?
Sushang’s more or less relieved when she sees the message from Fu Xuan on the laptop, because of course she’s already solving it as well and knows Jing Yuan is at her apartment.
“Looks like we’ve got a new lead, huh?” Sushang lets herself lay on Qingque’s couch which is a lot more comfortable than it looks. How much did this shit cost? How rich is Fu Xuan? Well, she does have to give some credit to Qingque too…
The file is long. Really fucking long. It’s probably copy pasted but Sushang has to admit, the proof is there and it’s really there.
“This company is owned by Carlize Marinae. This… it doesn’t make sense.” Huohuo murmurs, and she’s right. How could the suspects be between two people who have gone against each other?
“Why are you guys partnered if you helped someone who went against her?”
“Who her company has sued and who she has sued are two different entities. After we told them that, they agreed to a partnership.”
Sushang still can’t piece it together. They’re both suspicious, she can agree, they even have ties with the judges and jury involved but — she isn’t sure. Something’s up, and she can’t tell what it is.
“Sushang, you’re doubting it too, aren’t you?” Yanqing tugs at his knees nervously, holding onto a file.
He lends it to her, and honestly, she’s willing to deal with this (not cute) bastard if it means she’ll clear up her unnecessary doubts.
This is too obvious now. It’s sneaky, super sneaky, but Sushang can tell now. “But why?”
“Charlize’s sister owns it, that company, a bloodline of company owners, ergh.” He groans a bit, and no one’s spared them looks, convinced it’s that stupid company that’s owned by Charlize.
“This is another one of Charlize’s companies, though.” Yanqing says, and gives her his phone. Wow, he’s getting his proof from the internet now?

“Hm, that’s an elaborate line of crumbs. So is it Charlize or Lina?” Sushang asks, still impressed by his work, he isn’t taught by Jing Yuan for nothing, huh.
“It’s both.”

Case Drama Resolved.
This is honestly so dumb and so obvious, I don’t know they thought they’d get away with it, it’s nice Luofu Law shared the files with us and you know they only do that when you won’t be able to tell how it works unless you’re batshit insane.
The culprit framed another company who won like 3 lawsuits against them to try to like get some rep back I guess idk how it works
So proud of Jing Yuan and Fu Xuan they’ve gone so far

are you talking about the drama about bailu’s mom?
***
Baiheng’s dead.
Jing Yuan hasn’t hung out with them ever since she died, ever since then, all of them have tried to take care of Bailu, out of guilt or not, they don’t know.
Jing Yuan’s helped her with technical stuff, he’s too scared to go in personally. Jingliu’s taken care of her like a princess, it’s the only time she’s happy because it feels like Baiheng’s smiling to her. Dan Heng’s taken the role of her older brother, and is the reason she met the Ghost Crew. Blade…well, Blade is Blade.
They’ve all seperated too. Jing Yuan works with Fu Xuan still, Jingliu works with some Luocha guy that was probably a criminal in his last life, Dan Heng hangs out with his Astral Express friends who travel the world, and Blade’s…well, literally a criminal.
He doesn’t know how to manage. Fu Xuan’s been there, Fu Xuan’s always been there, really. She knows everything, he’s told her everything, but he wants her to live without worrying for him.
Because he can do it. He can manage this life — and Fu Xuan can go have fun with her girlfriend. That’s what Jing Yuan wants.
Nothing really ever goes his way, though.
“Tomorrow is the day Baiheng died. You must atleast go out with your friends, Jing Yuan, I’m sick of seeing you sulk around in your bed all day everytime.” And she’s right. Fu Xuan’s always right, isn’t she?
So he does it. After the previous message being months ago, of course started by Jing Yuan asking for drinks, he talks again.
Jing Yuan
Let’s hang out tomorrow
Dan Heng
what?
Blade
Ok
Jingliu
With Bailu?
Jing Yuan
No, with us
Jingliu
…
Blade
Ok
Jingliu
Since when are you one for reminiscing, Yuan?
Dan Heng
since when is he not
Jing Yuan
:)
This will be nice

“Baiheng’s dead.” This time, Jingliu affirms it, and she seems at peace. “Jing Yuan, we’ve all gotten better. It’s only you — and well, Yingxing but he’s managing it, stuck onto the old days.”
“I guess.” He shrugs, and he knows it. He’s too stuck on what was — what could be now.
“I have Bailu. She’s…she’s not a replacement for Baiheng, but Baiheng would be happy if I took care of her.”
She’s right.
“Baiheng would be happy if you took care of yourself too.”
Oh. That’s— that’s a lot for Jing Yuan.
“You have a life to live. She doesn’t. She’d want you to live your life instead of sulking in your dumb bed all day long.” Jingliu and Fu Xuan both seem to think he sulks in bed all day long.
“Go play with that lion you adopted over winter.” She knows about Mimi, she probably keeps up with his media then, she keeps up with Dan Heng too, he knows that, and Blade sometimes.

Fu Xuan is dating Jing Yuan.
He gave her the pure jade bracelet she is famed for. The location of the shop is Jinx Jewelry. It’s a place owned by Jing Yuan’s associate, Tingyun.
They’ve known each other since they were in their junior years in school, it’s inevitable they’d get into a relationship.
Jing Yuan’s words in Severe Starlight: “I wouldn’t argue if I were with Lady Fu.”

Jinx Jewelry is the shop that was located before we had Tingyun’s. Tingyun’s is just called Tingyun’s.
This is idiotic. Unbearingly so, in fact. It annoyed her beyond words.
Her? With Jing Yuan? No. Not at all. She would rather shave her head off than be in a romantic telationsjip with Jing Yuan.
She has her own girlfriend with whom she lives a very good life. That alone is enough.
Speaking of Qingque, she actually did take up Fu Xuan’s offer on writing a book about the art of slacking, but said she’d just share it with only her.
That was more than enough. Even if she loves Qingque, she will not allow for this behavior. For other workers, that is. She’d just set up measures against them but she knew Qingque would be able to sneak through those as well.
And with her thoughts causes her to forget the problem of the dating allegations and call Qingque. How very professional that was of her.
Well, she didn’t forget. She just wanted to ask Qingque about it. It’d be lovely to hear the mindset and perspective of another’s.
“Hi,” Qingque’s sleepy voice rang through her phone. Did she just wake up? “And no, you didn’t wake me. I’ve been watching this Turkish drama for the past like, 12 hours.”
“Oh, sorry to interrupt, I just had some questions though.” Fu Xuan says, leaning into the plush chair Jing Yuan demanded she do her work atleast in something comfortable.
“It’s fine. What’s up?”
“Have you heard of those rumors? About me and Jing Yuan? Sorry to be so casual, but… it’s just frustrating especially after the previous stuff.”
“Oh, no probs. And yeah, I literally paused my drama cause that drama was more worth it.” Fu Xuan can just hear Qingque stretch while she’s yawning.
“…Stay home this time. Day off from the boss.” Fu Xuan says, “Get away from the trouble.”
“I’m literally your girlfriend, Fu Xuan. I’m not doing that.”
***
“It isn’t bring your girlfriend to work day, Lady Fu,” Jing Yuan is an absolute scoundrel who has zero morals and zero life. All he does all day is work, sleep, play with his cat, work, sleep, work while bullying Fu Xuan, sleep, repeat.
He is a miserable man. That’s why Fu Xuan must encourage this old man who still somehow looks like he’s in his youth despite his white hair to retire.
He needs some rest, really. That’s why she has to make it so he doesn’t have any allegations. Especially with herself.
“Well. This is technically my work. So she ain’t bringing no one.” Qingque is no good at defending either.
“Qingque. You are not the president of this company for a reason, please stand down.”
“President Qing has a nice ring on it, though, awh!”
Jing Yuan breaks it up before they start flirting, “We have no time for any of this. Fu Xuan, I understand your concern for the dilemma, but I’m not even going to be in the Luofu by midnight.”
“What?!” She turns her attention away from a clingy Qingque who holds onto her arm.
“I’m going to visit an old…friend of mine.” He smiles. What? Old friend? Jing Yuan has no friends though. Well, besides— No way.
He’s going to see one of those people Whom? Jingliu? Fu Xuan heard that her case is being sent to another city in the Xianzhou, but she’s still in the Luofu for the week.
Blade is a criminal so Jing Yuan should know not to go give him a visit. He broke out last week.
Dan Heng is god knows where and there’s no way he’d ever tell Jing Yuan. Or would he? No. It doesn’t really make sense.
“We…Well, I don’t know. But I’m solving stuff. Okay? No need to worry about me. His friends are with us too.” Jing Yuan crosses his arms.
“Oh! Yep, Caelus told me about it the other day.“ Qingque squeezed Fu Xuan’s arm, pulling her close. She’s always been like this in private. Private isn’t with Jing Yuan most times, but maybe she’s getting closer to him.
“Alright. How is that supposed to fix the rumors?” Fu Xuan doesn’t quite get it, and she’s really in some need for some coffee.
“…Dan Heng knows a guy.” Jing Yuan is an idiot, Fu Xuan surmises. Does he want to fix things with Dan Heng or use him for his advantage?
She can’t talk, though. She was like that once upon a time with Qingque. It didn’t work, though.
She just has to trust Jing Yuan with this ordeal.
“Well then, I’d prefer you leave my office, thank you.” Jing Yuan shakes his hand to the direction and Fu Xuan sighs in defeat.
So be it.
Leaving the doors with Qingque even though it’s still working hours is weird. Normally, they’re never even in Jing Yuan’s office.
Qingque has only ever been there during a weekend as a birthday gift, to tour the building.
“We can’t leave Lil Old Yuan to this, babe.” Qingque is right. Fu Xuan has to do some work too. She just doesn’t know what.
Qingque turns around with a smile, “Let’s tell the world we’re dating.”
“Absolutely not.”
“Why not?!” Qingque stomps on the floor. Since when did she care about this type of stuff? Their relationship is privy only to friends, as it should be.
Is that… really what Qingque wants though? It is what Fu Xuan is happy with, but she doesn’t really take notice of Qingque’s opinion on that stuff.
Maybe. Fu Xuan should… consider it.
“Give me a good reason, and I’ll think about it.”
“Just one? I’ll give you plenty, hmph.” Qingque spreads her arms about. “We’ve been together for quite some time! And hey, with all the drama that’s going on, telling the public you’re in a relationship is nothing too surprising. Also.. I wanna flaunt you to my friends.”
That’s kind of cute. But still, no.
“Qingque, I love you so much, but don’t you think it’ll look weird if you, a worker in my company, is my girlfriend?” Fu Xuan shakes her head, Qingque is probably thinking that the way she’s talking makes her sound like an auntie.
“So what? I’m not even that high up in the ranks so they can’t call bias.”
“I have several reports from other employees to get you fired. Qingque, if you somehow manage to be liked by your peers enough, I’ll think about it.”
“Can’t I just resign?” Qingque snorts.
“Absolutely not, Qingque!” Fu Xuan is enraged. Resign? Resign? No. Fu Xuan will not let go of Qingque.
“No one is going to want to hire a Celestial Jade-obsessed woman who slacks every opportunity she has! You do good work, so do it!”
“Jeez,” Qingque giggles, slinging an arm around Fu Xuan.
“Okay, girlfriend. Just you see. I’ll show you the art of slacking.”
She can try.

“Oh, Qingque, you’ve been such a good help recently. How’s your work?” Xiaoyu can’t help but thank Qingque. She doesn’t live in her hometown anymore, but she visits twice a month.
“It’s going good, thank you auntie. I’ve been doing this and that.” Qingque shrugs, “Might visit mom soon. But the normal New Years is all I’ve used to.”
“Haha, oh how I miss your mother’s presence here. Especially, your father, he yearns all day for her. They even send letters to each other while texting.. really, they’re just like kids.”
“Well, just like how mom and dad are hopeless romantics, I guess I am too.”
“Oh? You have a lover, little Que?” Xiaoyu can’t lie, she’s curious. Qingque with a lover? She’s much too lazy for the boys, and all the girls like Celestial Jade but not to the level that Qingque does. She’s glad she’s found someone.
“Mhm. Maybe next time, I’ll bring her over. We’re kinda at a disagreement right now, though.” Qingque looks happy. To talk about her, really, even though they’re apparently in a disagreement.
“Unfortunately she’s not into Celestial Jade but she plays with me lots. She’s not the best, but it’s nice teaching her.”
“Oh, do you know she cooks really good? Not just traditional stuff, auntie, she can even cook European dishes.”
She… really likes to flaunt her girlfriend, doesn’t she?
“We live together. It’s… a new thing. Well, we’ve been dating for some time now, but you know, we started living together a few months ago so… never knew when to tell you.”
“Tell her what?” Yingyue is eager to interrupt. Despite being her younger twin, he only has one child. One little girl. One sweet Qingque. The best niece she could ever ask for.
Her children are just as lovely, of course. Not to Qingque’s terror or Yingyue’s affectionate nature.
“Mommy, why is uncle always bothering me? Also, please tell Qingque to come play with me.” Xiaobo’s words are everlasting in her ears ever since he said that but now he’s a young man with big dreams. Studying all day to become a doctor, quite ambitious he is.
Qingque frowns at her dad’s messy hair before rolling her eyes, “My girlfriend. Go back to cooking for your precious nieces and nephews now.”
“Hmph, look how this once a little girl became a mean young lady.” He chuckles, ruffling her hair.
***
“Dunno. I’m not not gonna be lazy, so… yeah. We just have to find something else.” Qingque shrugs. Fu Xuan can’t really understand. Why not?
“Look, I’ll even explain it all to you even though you know and just aren’t realizing it.” She starts, almost frustrated but Fu Xuan hears the fondness leak from her voice.
“I know the life I want, Fu Xuan, it’s a life with you.” And oh does that make her feel something in her heart.
“That life doesn’t… require me to work. I don’t want to work and tire myself out for people, and that includes you. I’ll do anything because I love you but I can’t not slack off.” Qingque sounds like a little girl but she’s right.
“I’m not really lazy though. I work and do my stuff but there’s no reason to let other people expect more of me. That’s kind of why I’m the lowest ranking lawyer as of now.”
Kind of? It’s entirely the reason.
“You on the other hand, you can’t not work for the life of you, hey?”
“…You’re right. I guess… well. My mentor, before I met Jing Yuan, before I even came to the Luofu, told me that he only wanted to train me because he heard it in a dream. Not because of my works or talent. He said in that dream, I took his place as the head by killing him.”
Fu Xuan’s never told anyone this before. Not even Jing Yuan knows, besides what’s on the record.
“I… couldn’t believe it. So I ran away before that future could ever see itself true. I’ve never done a case in Yuque again.”
“Is that why you work loads?” Qingque asks. Qingque has the right to ask.
“I guess so. It’s like I’m hoping one day, my mentor will come back and mentor me again because of my experience rather than some dream. But now… I guess I’m in the position to be the mentor. I just keep doing it though, proving myself to no one.”
“That’s okay.” Qingque reassures. It helps. It’s not okay, actually, she’s an adult and she’s only working so hard for some dumb thing, but… it’s okay because Qingque said so.
They’ll be okay. And Fu Xuan will say it.
“We’ll be okay.” She says it but it’s more of a wish than reality.
“We already are.” Qingque shallows in the background, peacefully eating some sweets she’s just bought.
“Can we really not tell the world that I love you?”
“No way. But I can tell you that I love you too if it counts.”
***
“See. I told you I could handle it.” Jing Yuan throws his hands in the air, smile evident. The trip must’ve gone well.
That’s good.
He leaves a bit after, enamored with his phone. Is his reconciliation really going so well? Fu Xuan can’t believe it.
She doesn’t really have time to anyway with Qingque’s new ideas. She’s made a new Twist*Tube account.
“I’m making posts and videos about Celestial Jade, Fu Xuan, It’ll go viral. This is my true dream. Not my mom’s or dad’s. Mine.”
It’s going well, too. Life is going well.
The account is fine, it has tutorials, techniques, secrets, history, and everything there is to the game. Of course, Fu Xuan’s watched all the videos.
“Let’s go out for a date.” Qingque suggests on a night but it’s Fu Xuan that plans it all.
She books them a fancy restaurant. It’s sleek, it’s neat, and it’s empty just for them.
The food is wonderful, but Qingque’s presence is more.
“Wanna get married?” And of course Qingque brings it up casually; even when they started dating, all Qingque did to ask her out was say: ’Let’s date. I think you’re cute’.
The ring is beautiful. It’s from… the same place as her pure jade bracelet. From tTingyun’s. Only one is custom made but both are precious. Both are made of beautiful immensely pure and durable jade. Both reek of love.
“When was this?” She sounds like some controlling mother.
“Back when that trouble with the case was up. Huohuo and her friend, Xueyi, helped me buy it and pick it out. Just for you. Hey, they engraved our names on it too.”
The life I want is with you.
“Thats what you told me the other day.”
“Tried to hint some stuff. And stuff. Uhm, yeah, so… can we..?”
“Yes, we can get engaged, you dumb idiot.” Fu Xuan can’t help but smile.
“Oh you have to meet my aunt then! And my dad! Oh, and definitely my mom, but maybe we should surprise her with a wedding.”
“Hehe. Aren’t you looking out for the future? Super eager. Just a few months of dating and you wanna get engaged.”
“Hey, stop teasing me…”
***
“Hello, madam. I’m Fu Xuan, Qingque’s… fiancé.” Xiaomei is more than surprised.
The co-founder of the company Qingque works at. A… genius. A millionaire. She’s set herself for life.
“Ah, no need to call me madam, auntie is fine.” She can’t help but smile. This is Qingque’s little lover.
“Thank you for sticking with Qingque, she can be a handful sometimes.” She extends her hand.
“Yeah, I’ve experienced.” Fu Xuan shakes it with a determined look. Wow, really hoping to impress, is she.
“I should call out your father, shouldn’t I?” Xiaomei directs to Qingque, calling for Yingyue.
“I’m here, I’m here, what is it— Oh, Qingque’s girlfriend.” Yingyue clearly hadn’t even changed out of his pyjamas. The audacity of this man…
“Fiancé.” Qingque corrects with a smug look on her face, and Xiaomei is more than delighted. Qingque is having a good life. Her life is complete just because of that.
“Wow, I see. Have you told your mother?” He doesn’t seem to care. How dare he, how dare he. He’s the father of Qingque and soon-to-be father-in-law of Fu Xuan and this is his behavior.
“Mm. Nah. I mean, I told her that I’m seeing someone but she doesn’t know if we’re together nor that we went from dating to engaged let alone started dating.” Qingque scratched her neck.
“We met this New Years, did we not? You were dating by then.”
“…I just told her I have someone I’m into.. Mom is a bit enthusiastic about these things. I think we might as well make the wedding right before New Years’ and let her know then. So New Years, she can nag all she wants.”
“I can prepare the wedding, don’t worry,” Fu Xuan interrupts, hard working as ever (Qingque told her that).
“Wasn’t worrying in the first place.”
***
“Qingque, how come you don’t tell your own mother about your wedding until it actually happens?!”
“Hi mom. Mom, Fu Xuan. Fu Xuan, Daiyu, my mom.”
“Qingque! Do not ignore your mother! My lovely daughter with a lovely wife keeps it away from me, I see how it is!”
