    "For one thousand days, Remy walked a repeating labyrinth. He came to know its single, inevitable path well, its turns marked by solitaire and sex, absorption and amnesia.

    Sometimes, one death would follow another, and he would lose sight of Legacy in the tangle of absorbed personalities. As she absorbed more minds, they overspilled her. He would start a conversation in French with Aurora, only to have Kurt reply in German or Feral take a swipe at him. In those.times, she did not remember him.

    Sometimes, they would have months without a death, and Legacy would find her way back to herself, and they would almost have a life together. But then a soldier would die and Legacy would do her duty, and he would be at the start of the labyrinth again."

    It is dark and I have tagged it accordingly, but it isn't darker than the comic, and (almost) no one dies in it who doesn't die in Age of X.
