Charoen didn’t know if she could take it anymore. Ton had been Bothering her for almost a year now, despite being in university he still found a way to bother her, and she didn’t know how much longer she could take. She knew telling him that she didn’t like him wouldn’t make a difference so she did what had been her absolute last option. She’s going to tell him why she doesn’t like him.
“P’Ton” The girl in glasses called out for the tall guy in front of her.
“Yes, my sweetheart?” The tall guy replied.
“Stop calling me tha-, Whatever, I need to tell you something serious, the answer to why I have rejected you multiple times.” Charoen started nervously.
“So what is the reason?” Ton asked, slightly nervous wondering what that reason might be.
“I-im” Charoen couldn't help but be nervous telling Ton this but she knew she needed too. “I'M IN LOVE WITH ALPHA.” She was finally able to spit it out, although she didn't mean to shout it out.
“Huh???? You're in love with Alpha??” Ton said Shocked as this was not what he was expecting to hear.
“Yes I am.. I'm afraid that's why I was unable to reciprocate your feelings.” Charoen said afraid of how Ton may react
“Why didn't you tell me sooner?” Ton asked, relieved that he wasn't the reason why Charoen didn't like him.
“Well because.. I was scared.” Charoen said unsure on why he even asked that.
“Why would you be scared?? I can help you get with Alpha!” Ton said being as confident as ever.
“Wait what?! I never said anything about me needing your help, Plus we don't know if she would ever like someone like me.” Charoen exclaimed nervously at Ton’s sudden offer.
“Come on my sweethear- uh Alpha’s soon-to-be sweetheart, i'm sure she would definitely like you, and if your still unsure we have reliable sources to get information from.” Ton said as Charoen’s cheeks started to turn a shade of red because of what Ton had just called her.
“Reliable resources?” Charoen asked curiously.
“VERY reliable resources, let's go, let's talk to our resources.” Ton said as he signaled Charoen to follow him as he turned around and started walking.
As they walked the path looked oddly familiar but Charoen said nothing and continued following Ton. When they arrived at their destination, Chareon knew exactly where they were and she wanted nothing more than to go back home because they were in front of the house of none other than Alpha.
“Hey guys you're here, come inside!” A tall girl with glasses came out to greet them.
Oh. Charoen forgot her best friend, Ongsa, also lived here. As they walked inside she saw 3 other people sitting on the floor around a table, a bright and smiley girl who clung to Ongsa as soon as she sat back down next to her, Sun, Ongsa’s girlfriend, another bright and smiley girl who was also clinging to her girlfriend, Luna, and a stiff girl who had an alien hat on her head trying to hide the fact that she was enjoying Luna’s clinginess, Aylin, who also happen to live there. All of these girls were the people closest to Alpha, Ongsa being Alpha’s little sister, Aylin being Alpha’s cousin, Luna being Alpha's best friend, and Sun being the girlfriend of Alpha’s little sister who she also spent a lot of time with. Charoen was nervous but nonetheless she sat down.
“So…” Ongsa initiated the conversation, “P’Ton told me why you guys were coming over but briefly and the others don't know so, would you like to tell us, Charoen?” Ongsa said, trying not to sound too awkward. Charoen knew she was cooked, so she just gave in and told everyone.
“Well… I finally told P’Ton the reason why I have rejected him so many times and he suggested we come talk to you guys, as you guys would know the answers to my problems the best.” Charoen told the group as they all listened carefully.
“How are we the ones with the answers you're seeking?” Sun asked, confused.
“You guys have the answers because well, the reason I rejected P’Ton was because.. I'm in love with P’Alpha.”
“YOU'RE IN LOVE WITH ALPHA??” The four girls shouted in sync.
“Yes.. I am.” Charoen said, as the truth was finally out.
The four girls looked at eachother, as if they were communicating with no words. Then Aylin spoke.
“We’ll help you manut.” Aylin said in her usual cold tone.
“You will?” Charoen asks, surprised as this was not the reaction she was expecting.
“Of course we will! Plus we know things you don't.” Luna said in a teasing tone.
“What do you mean P’Luna?” Charoen asks, confused
“Well I've heard Alpha say and do things that show she is interested in someone.” Luna started.
“I have too.” Everyone but Chareon said, even Ton.
Charoen was shocked, she didn't know how to react. How could she know if they were all telling the truth? But then again these are her closest friends they wouldn't lie to her, right?
“I've actually heard her talk about the person she likes very clearly.” Aylin blurs out.
“You have???” Charoen askes, as everyone at the table turns to face Aylin as they were also shocked.
“Yes. The walls are very thin, so every night before bed I have to hear manut cousin talk about the girl she likes to her teddy bear, Mr. twinkles.” Aylin says, explaining herself.
Charoen couldn't believe her ears, Alpha likes a girl? Could there be any chance that girl could be her?
“Did she ever describe the girl? Or said her name?” Sun asks curiously.
“She has.” Aylin says but then stops.
Everyone sits in silence waiting for Aylin to continue, which now seemed like she wasn't going too. As the moments passed the air got tense until Charoen couldn't take the anticipation any longer.
“WELL???” Charoen finally shouted out.
“It's you manut.” Aylin said as she seemed to enjoy that silence just to tease Charoen.
Charoen’s world seemed to stop. Was it really her? Does Alpha really like her? Was this just a joke? All these thoughts rushed in at once but stopped once Luna spoke.
“Aylins telling the truth, I was there once, me and Aylin were having our usual ‘sleepover’ and right before we went to bed we heard her.” Luna said, backing up her girlfriend's claim.
Charoen couldn't believe it, her heart overflowing with millions of emotions, she didn't even know what to say.
“I have to tell her how I feel.” Charoen blurs out.
“Well you guys help me?” Charoen asked.
“Of course!!!” everyone shouted out except for Aylin who simply said, “sure.”
A week passed since that meeting at Alpha/Ongsa/Aylin’s house, and everything was ready for Charoen to confess. Tinh and Marwin eventually got filled in on everything that happened and decided to help too. Charoen decided to go with a picnic to confess to Alpha as she heard her say she would love to go on a picnic date to herself before. She also got help from Ongsa and Aylin to find out her favorite snacks and food, she even cooked some herself. She got help from Luna and Sun to find the perfect bouquet of white and purple carnations as those are her favorite flowers and colors. Everything was perfect and Charoen was finally ready. The day of the confession Marwin and Ton distracted Alpha for a couple of hours while Charoen, Luna, Aylin, Ongsa, and Sun all set up the picnic. The place where they set up was a tree that Alpha had always visited to read since she was young and it was now going to be their special place (hopefully). Then the time finally came.
“Alpha should be here in 5 minutes, Good luck Charoen, You can do it!!!!” Ongsa said, as a final push, then she left with Sun, Aylin, and Luna to give them privacy.
A few minutes passed and she arrived. The girl of the hour. The only girl Charoen was head of heels for, Alpha. When Charoen spotted Alpha she was far enough for Charoen to get into position, then came the painful few moments it took Alpha to reach Charoen. And then it happened.
“Charoen?” Alpha asked in a confused tone.
“What is all of this?” She asked.
As soon as Charoen heard Alpha’s voice she turned, holding the bouquet of flowers.
“P’Alpha.” Charoen started as she looked straight into Alpha’s eyes with a look of determination.
Charoen stepped a few inches closer to Alpha, close enough to hand her the flowers but far enough to give her space.
“I..” Charoen took a deep breath and continued, “I organized this and brought you here today to.. To tell you how I truly feel P’Alpha. I'm in love with you, so so so deeply in love with you, and I have been since 9th grade when I finally got a glimpse of the student council president, who just happened to be the most beautiful girl I have ever laid my eyes on. I thought there was no way we could ever be close, I was just a loser who was shy and awkward and you were the beloved popular student council president, we were two worlds apart until i met someone who brought me closer to you, Ongsa who i befriended when she moved here in 10th who also happened to be your younger sister, when i found out i was overjoyed we could finally get even a bit closer, but then as we spent more time together i got scared and never had the guts to even mention i liked you, then the last thing i thought would ever happen to me happened, Ton started to pursue me and i didnt like it one bit that's when i knew i needed to tell you how i felt so here i am, i'm so sorry it took me this long to tell you P’Alpha, I love you.” Charoen said this all while looking straight into Alpha’s eyes, never looking away, not once.
She did it, she poured her heart out, the thing she wanted to do since 9th grade. As Charoen got everything off her chest Alpha just stood there, staring into Charoen’s eyes just as she was doing to her. Alpha didn't know how to react, but she did know that she was overflowing with emotions, and she knew she had to express them one way or the other.
“These are for you.” Charoen said with a warm smile as she handed the flowers she was holding to Alpha.
Alpha just stood there, she took the flowers but she didn't even look at them as she was still just staring at Charoen. At this point Charoen started to get worried, had she done or said something wrong? So she spoke again.
“P’Alpha I know this may be-” Charoen started to say but was interrupted by Alpha seeming to finally be able to move again, Alpha took Charoen’s hand guided her to where the food and blankets had been set up, She turned around and gently place her flowers down and turned to face Charoen once more. Charoen was reasonably confused by all of this so she spoke once more.
“P’Alpha?” The younger girl called out to the older girl standing in front of her.
“Charoen… I'm not as good with words as I want to be in this situation, so.. let me show you how I feel.” Alpha said as she stepped a inch closer to Charoen.
As Alpha slowly inched closer to Charoen, Charoen felt like her lungs were giving out. Alpha took one final step and the gap between them was finally closed. Both of them just stared into each other eyes, full of anticipation, finally Alpha got the courage to gently grab the younger's chin, caressing it. Then Alpha leaned in slowly, slightly getting on her tiptoes as she was slightly shorter than Charoen. Charoen also started to lean in, and soon enough they connected lips. It was a soft, gentle, tender kiss full of love, it seemed as if Charoen’s lips were made for Alpha’s and no one else's. As their lips slowly danced, Charoen’s hands slowly made their way to Alpha’s waist as Alpha’s arms wrapped around Charoen’s neck. When they finally broke apart they looked into each others eyes, lovingly.
“I love you Charoen, I've always have.” Alpha said in almost a whisper but loud enough for Charoen to hear.
Charoen felt like her heart would stop beating, everything that worried her in that minute disappeared. She pulled Alpha’s waist to pull her closer into a warm embrace. She was so happy.
“Can I be your girlfriend?” Charoen asked.
“Of course, my love.” Alpha replied.

“And that's how me and your mother started dating, the rest is history from there.” Charoen said as she tucked her daughter into bed.
*Knock Knock*
“My love, is Athena asleep yet?” Alpha said as she walked into the room where her wife and daughter were in.
“Well… she wanted to know the story on how we got together as a bedtime story, and I couldn't resist.” Charoen said as she watched her wife enter and sit next to her on their daughter's bed.
“Yes mama! Mommy told me all about her confession, and your very cute kiss!!” said an excited girl who was laying down tucked in ready for bed.
“Did she now?” Alpha replied in a teasing tone as she looked at her daughter then back at Charoen.
“Yes she did!! I wanna know more!!” The little girl said excitedly.
“Well you'll have to wait till tomorrow, sleep well now sweetie, i love you.” Alpha said as her and Charoen got up and kissed their daughter good night.
