Cooper wanted to bite Lucy's pink cheeks, take a chunk and swallow it like it was a delicious treat. Like her flesh was pecan sandies, cookies he used to be fond of in the old days. He couldn't remember when he'd last eaten those cookies.
He wanted to lap the blood from the wound as if it were water and he was a thirsty dog. Of course he wouldn't. But the urge was there as they kissed. Copper couldn't explain to Lucy it was because he loved so much he just wanted to gobble her up and keep a piece of her inside him.
