Prologue
Hinata Shoyō.
Just hearing his name can make everyone go wild. What could be the possible reason why?
He's not that tall to be noticed. He may have an amazing jump, but that can't be the reason why most of the players want him so badly, right?
But then that doesn't really matter. The fact that Hinata Shoyō exists is enough reason for them to adore him.
This is a story of a 16-year-old Volleyball player who was loved by everyone. He thought that it was just a friendly one, but oh boy, it's not. Now who could be the first man to make it on his heart?
Who knows?
Maybe everything is just the beginning of something everyone is not prepared to know.
THIRD PERSON
"Everyone, gather around!" Takeda-sensei called the Karasuno Volleyball Club members. Everyone stopped practicing and moved to gather near their sensei's place. They sat as they started listening.
"So I got a call from Coach Nekomata and the other coaches about the upcoming three-week training camp. He said that they would move the schedule earlier than it should be. They agreed to make it tomorrow so that at the end of the training camp, we will have an outing."
"Oooohhhh!!" Tanaka, Nishinoya, and Hinata exchanged an excited glance and smiled.
"But.." The three looked at Takeda-sensei when he spoke again, "Tomorrow is your test. And if you fail, you should take another test, which is the day after tomorrow." he added.
Hinata, Tanaka, Nishinoya, and even Kageyama froze in their seats as they knew that the four of them suck at studying. No way! I want to go to the training camp immediately!*Hinata mentally screamed with a terror expression visible on his face.
"Don't worry, we know that you can all pass the tests. It's not that the questions weren't taught before, right?" Sugawara tried cheering them up, specifically Hinata, his favorite junior.
"Hmm..." Daichi placed his hand under his chin, thinking of something. Sugawara just stared at him until their eyes locked with each other. They communicated through their glances for a couple of seconds.
"Should we make a deal for the four of you?" Daichi finally spoke.
Takeda-sensei and the four idiots then looked at him with curiosity. "What deal, Daichi-san?" Nishinoya asked.
"If the four of you pass the test, I will be granting each one of you a wish. But if someone fails the test, then there are no wishes granted but the one with the highest score can dare the ones who failed. Deal?" Daichi explained.
There was an unbelievable silence after that. The four of them glanced at each other while thinking. Daichi's deal is a win-win especially if they pass the tests. But the one who will fail will surely be very unlucky.
"So..?"
Hinata gulped hard as he was not confident enough to get a passing score. He can study later but there's no guarantee that he will remember all of it. But thinking about the deal, if there's a chance that all of them passed, he can wish something to his Daichi-san. He can also get to dare someone if he gets the highest score and someone fails.
Should I agree? Yes? No? But that's a good deal. He heaved a sigh and then looked at them. "Deal!" The four of them stated.
