Zelgius, or better known as The Black Knight, had awoken from his first night's rest proper in the sleeping quarters the Order of Heroes provided. Despite having been summoned here in Askr for a while, Zelgius had avoided the Order of Heroes, believing he didn't seem worthy of being called a “Hero”, perhaps General Zelgius of Begnion would be but not The Black Knight of Daein. That all changed when a certain Silver Haired Maiden was summoned to Askr.
As he got dressed in his armor, Zelgius thought of Micaiah. It was quite early so she probably wasn't up yet. As he was lost in his thoughts, Zelgius finally finished getting suited up until he realized that he wasn't wearing his cape. Looking around his room, he found a certain someone wrapped up in it asleep in one of the chairs.
“Heh… I did forget I gave her my spare key.” Zelgius sighed as he looked at Micaiah, who was fast asleep. He thought that she probably wanted to surprise him when he woke up but forgot that he wakes up much earlier than she does. It brought a smile to his face. Zelgius put on his helmet and gently unwrapped Micaiah from his cape. After putting his cape on, Zelgius picked up Micaiah to take her to her room.
Walking out into the empty hallway was easy enough and fortunately Micaiah’s quarters were only a few doors down. Much like how he gave her his spare key, Micaiah had given Zelgius her spare key so Zelgius had an easy time getting in her room. After gently putting Micaiah down on her bed, Zelgius whispered something to her.
“Sleep well my fair maiden…. I will see you in a few hours.” Zelgius whispered before heading off to fulfill his duties for the Order of Heroes as the Black Knight.
