Summary
Alfred was born with a silver spoon in his mouth. He rose above all and basked in the glory of undeserved power. He never had to make anything for himself; it was all always handed to him. But Alfred is tired. He needs to be the hero, and that's what he gets. The American is sent away to a faraway nation with a task that will make or break his entire future. What he doesn't take into account is the whirlpool of sour memories that he has to come face to face with once again. Can Alfred become the hero?

Arthur lived off the scraps thrown into his cage by the power-hungry men that controlled Manhattan. He does what he can to survive, but it will never satisfy his craving for his undying passion. Art, travel, and Japan: the land of the rising sun. The land of ukiyo-e prints, biambos, and Arthur's main source of inspiration. His dream would be to travel there, to meet the artists that he idolized so much, to immerse in their culture. "Honda Kiku" was the name scrawled in the corner of his latest artist purchase, and fate may have brought him straight from the print and into the world.
