"Muffled Scream"
Keith was making his way back to his room from the training deck to take a shower. It was a testament to how tired he was that he didn't notice Lance sneaking up behind him. The tick Lance got close enough he put a hand over Keith's mouth. He expected Keith to let out a muffled scream, but that wasn't what happened.
The tick Keith felt a hand go over his mouth he instinctively bit down on the hand, not realizing it was Lance's until he screamed. Keith released the hand, which withdrew, and he turned to face Lance, who was cradling his now bleeding hand.
"Lance?"
"Why did you bite me?" Lance examined his hand. "And why does it look like a vampire bite?"
Keith craned his neck to examine the bite mark from a different angle. "You're right. If it was on your neck, I would assume you got attacked by a vampire."
Lance looked back and forth between his hand and Keith before he reached out for Keith's face. "Let me see your mouth."
"Wha-? Lance, what are you- No! Leave my mouth alone!"
"I just wanna see, Keith!" Lance managed to pull Keith's upper lip up to expose his teeth. "Aha! Just as I thought! You have fangs!"
Lance released Keith's lip, prompting Keith to lick his lips and run his tongue over his teeth. He was surprised to feel his canine teeth were sharper than normal. "But why?"
"Maybe you're developing some Galran features?" Lance blinked a few times. "That means I'm dating a space cat...Does that make me a furry?"
Keith was saved from having to ask by Shiro giving a shout. The Red and Blue Paladins turned to look at their leader, Keith asking, "What's wrong, Shiro?"
"Why is Lance bleeding all over the floor?"
