Work Text:
Of course Theo didn’t want to be there. Like he’d repeated time after time to Scott, Stiles, Liam, anyone who would listen: he was not a pack animal. But that didn’t stop Liam from finding him the second the final bell rang and practically dragging him into Stiles’ Jeep. The drive to Derek’s loft had been a quiet, uncomfortable one, the silence only broken by the occasional swearing on Theo’s part which was quickly accompanied by Stiles telling him to shut up.
“Theo,” Scott’s voice seemed to break him out of his trance of grumpiness, pulling him back into the reality of the situation he had gotten himself into, “It’s good to see you.” Theo had to put all his will into not rolling his eyes at the other boy. Why did he always have to be so kind?
Theo half stomped his way over to the empty couch in the loft, plopping onto the plush leather as Scott and Stiles conversed in low tones, definitely about him. Liam smiled his stupid, puppy-proud-of-himself smile as he made his way over to Theo, sitting on the couch next to him.
“I can’t believe you dragged me to this bullshit.”
“I can’t either.”
“That’s not what I meant.”
“I know.”
This time, Theo did not restrain himself from rolling his eyes and scowling at Liam. The other boy only smiled back, knowing it got to Theo more than anything. Theo huffed, turning his attention to Scott, who was standing in the center of the room, beginning to address the group.
“I’m sure you all know why you’re here…”
God, when did Scott get so boring? His voice was dull and monotone and just so, so boring.

“We should wake them up.”
“Not before I get a picture!”
“Shhhh!”
“You shhhh.”
The pack bickered amongst themselves when the meeting ended, all eyes on the two boys curled up on the couch. Liam was sitting cross-legged, his back turned slightly to Theo’s shoulder, leaning against it, his breathing even as he slept. Sometime during the meeting, after the two had fallen deep into sleep, Theo’s arm had snaked its way around Liam’s waist and now lay on his hip, where Liam’s hand had fallen to hold it. The two boys lay tangled together on the leather couch, breathing in tandem, so peaceful. More peaceful than most of the pack had ever seen them.
“I’m never letting them live this down,” Stiles snickered.
“Theo is gonna kill us.”
