“So the questions are 24 and you have to answer them all”
It was the most boring day of robby’s life until his girlfriend texted him telling him she was bored.
His father wasn’t home and won’t come home for some weeks cause he went to the mountains in a sort of trip with carmen and Miguel.
He was suppose to go as well but he ended up being sick, so he stayed at home, reassuring his father that he will be fine and that he has tory he can talk to if he gets bored.
Maybe it wasn’t a good idea since he didn’t know how to cook and was starving, but he was surviving, sort of.
Tory would text him everyday to see how he was and he was so grateful for that.
She has just texted him telling that she is going to go over at his place to spend some times together, and once she was there she came out with a “funny” game they could do.
Well, she firstly suggested they could kiss to spend their time but his lip wasn’t in the right position to do that.
His lower lips still hurt from when 3 days before she’s accidentally bitten it, making it get bloody.
Robby chuckled, a cough following close behind. "I can try. What’s the prize if I win?”
"Win?" Tory smirked. "Surviving 24 questions without dying of boredom is the prize."
“Great…start”
"What’s my favorite color?"
"Easy, red.” He said confident.
“What type of red”
He remembered that she once told him before they became a thing, when they were at the drive-in with their friends from cobra kai.
“The red of roses, you told me”
She smiled before saying “the answer is correct”
She didn’t think he would remember it, but he did.
"What’s my middle name?"
Robby scratched his head. "Umm... You don’t have one."
She nodded to say it was correct.
“What’s my favorite song by Taylor Swift?”
“Uhm untouchable?”
“No, it’s sad beautiful tragic. Cant believe you forgot”
"What’s my favorite ice cream flavor?"
“Chocolate mint because you suck”
“Says the one that loves strawberry, but that’s correct”
He rolled his eyes playfully.
"Am I a morning person or a night owl?"
"Night owl, definitely."
"Do I prefer sweet or salty snacks?"
"Salty."
"What’s my biggest pet peeve?"
Robby pondered this one. "People chewing with their mouth open."
"Got it in one," Tory said, impressed.
"Do I like cats or dogs better?"
“cats”
She nodded and was about to keep going, but he stopped her.
“Please stop this game is boring as hell” he said.
“Fine” she said sitting on the bed next to him.
Tory’s gaze flickered to his mouth, and her expression turned a bit more serious. "How’s your lip? Still hurts?"
Robby touched the small scab and nodded. "Yeah, a bit. You really got me good."
Tory leaned closer, her eyes mischievous. “I should do it more often”
Before Robby could respond, she closed the distance between them, her lips brushing gently against his.
The kiss was soft and tentative, mindful of his injury, but it quickly deepened, sending a warm flush through his body.
For a moment, his sickness, the boredom, everything faded away, leaving just the two of them in their little world.
His hands moved to her waists pulling her closer.
When they pulled away they both smiled at eachothers, just to do it again.
And again and again, until the boring days were over.
