Work Text:
Amy doesn’t believe in the Doctor.
There was never a raggedy stranger who crashed into her garden when she was small and lonely. There was never a man who was nothing like anyone else she’d ever met, except that he told the same lie that every grown-up told.
Amy doesn’t believe in the Doctor. But sometimes late at night she dips fish-fingers in custard alone in the kitchen and pretends it all was real.
