Regulus slipped out of bed and put on his jumper. He cast a silencing spell on his feet so he didn’t wake up his roommates, Barty and Evan.
Regulus promised James he would go to his dorm tonight as they haven’t cuddled in a week. It’s
twelve in the morning and Regulus is fast walking up to Gryffindor tower.
When Regulus gets there he says the password and walks to James dorm. It’s dark when he enters so he tries to find the bed through memory and when he gets to a bed he slips under the covers.
“What, and I mean this nicely, the fuck are you doing?” Sirius asks, turning his lamp on.
Regulus panics because he apparently did not find the right bed in the dark. “Heyyyy… remember when we were kids and-” Regulus chuckles nervously.
Sirius yawns and just throws the covers open patting the bed. “Just get in.” Regulus nods and slips under.
Sirius and Regulus lay in silence for a few minutes before Sirius breaks it by asking, “Are you ok?” Regulus nods and responds with, “Yeah, I’m fine, just sleep. Go to sleep.”
The next morning Regulus wakes up to an empty dorm room. James is the only one still inside, and he is laughing so hard on the floor that he’s in tears. Regulus throws a pillow at James. “Shut up.” he grumbles.
James’ laughter dies down and he walks over to Sirius’ bed sitting next to Regulus. “You know I thought you forgot about our plans,” he says teasingly.
“Fuck off. I haven’t gone to his bed since I was like nine!” Regulus exclaims, moving closer to James.
James chuckles, “Why didn’t you just pretend you were sleepwalking? What happened to I’m a Slytherin, I never panic?”
Regulus looks up at James, “I truly can not put into words how much I hate the way you remember everything I have said.”
James grins and leans down to kiss him. “You love me anyways.”
Regulus sighs, “Unfortunately I do.” Then he kisses James back.
