"I cannot believe I signed up for this shit. Im Nayeon I'm going to come after you for setting me up with some stranger on a random date. GOD I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHY I AGREED ON THIS" Jeongyeon just kept on grumbling to herself about how horrible this idea was and how she is just getting into a mess without knowing anything. All she knows about this stranger is that she is known for having eyes that you can just get drowned in 'like what does that even supposed to mean Nayeon could have said something more or be more descriptive', Jeongyeon thought to herself while fixing her tie and the suit she wore.
Yes her first date is going to be in a fancy restaurant that just happens to be 15 minutes drive from her place.
She checked herself in the mirror for the last time setting the collars of her shirt and flashing herself a smile that she hoped would be the charm of the day.
She turned the keys in her car as Understand by keshi started to play on her radio
She knew that song by heart because it was one of those songs that gave her some hope in life that love can just happen? It put her at ease while she drove towards the location to meet her "date".
As her car started to get near the entrance of the fancy restaurant she could feel her palms getting sweaty. Even though she might be meeting a stranger she didn't want to ruin the plans of enjoying her night or probably getting herself in trouble.
Imagine her friends waking up to the hottest topic in the news as "Stranger Danger" with her picture in there and the mess she made. Jeongyeon shook her head from the unnecessary thoughts that just barged in her mind out of nervousness and made her way towards the entrance at the reception to check for her name in the list of guests.
"Table under the name Yoo",Jeongyeon asked while looking around the tables surrounding her background that had something or other happening.
"Yes Miss Yoo please follow me and also your company has already arrived", the lady behind the desk informed her.
'Great I have already made the impression of being late on this stranger' she thought while she made her way towards her table while the lady guided her.
The receptionist guided her towards this table where she observed someone sitting with her back facing her and by the looks of it, it was a backless black cocktail dress that she assumed 'her' date was wearing.
Her suspicion was soon confirmed when the lady hinted at her to go towards the table and she made her way towards the company.
To say that she was left breathless would be an understatement because indeed her date was very gorgeous looking woman with eyes deep drowning kind and a smile that just made her feel a slight.
"Park Jihyo" the gorgeous woman greeted her as she stood up to welcome her date.
"Yoo Jeongyeon and apologies for keeping you waiting", Jeongyeon spoke while.
"Oh no, don't worry you didn't keep me waiting I arrived a few minutes earlier", Jihyo said.
Jeongyeon just gave her a smile. The air around them wasn't as that awkward as she expected but it was slightly exciting, she felt like the person in front of her had some layers of stories that she wanted to explore suddenly.
Jihyo and Jeongyeon went through a list of items that they agreed to have and started to discuss things about themselves. "So you are telling me that she made you go on this date because you have been so busy taking care of your family and pets that you barely get time to socialize".
Jeongyeon chuckled at the way Jihyo was looking at her amused with the revelation of purpose behind this "blind" date.
"If you put it like that then it sounds like I have a very sad life when I have just been happier but by choosing a different category of happiness", Jeongyeon added. Jihyo nodded acknowledging that life can give you happiness in any form and for Jeongyeon it might be her family and close ones.
They have been discussing things about each other for the last twenty minutes after they have arrived.
It was evident that both were interested in discovering things about each other as the awkwardness died soon around them after they laughed at how they both are new to this blind dating or setting up thing.
"What would you like to have?", Jihyo mentioned as she decided what she would drink as she felt like the night wouldn't end soon.
Jeongyeon couldn't deny that Jihyo's eyes have really been drawing her in and she almost missed the question but nonetheless she answered "whatever you are going for"
Soon their food and drink arrived and they fell into a comfortable silence while occasionally discussing something or the other of interest.
"you like a lot of adventure don't you?" Jeongyeon asked while Jihyo gave her a nod, they just finished eating and Jihyo was talking about how she enjoys snowboarding whenever she gets some free time.
She was casually slipping on her Martini that she ordered while Jeongyeon was just looking at her.
"What about you? What do you enjoy doing in your free time?" Jihyo placed her glass down.
Upon being asked this question Jeongyeon picked up the glass in front of her for the first time and took a sip.
Jihyo gave her time to collect her thoughts while she closely observed how Jeongyeon's lips just part slightly while she is thinking and how she just licked her lips after taking a sip of her Martini. It was an alluring site to be honest. Jihyo has met many people in her life and they have been very charming but something about Yoo Jeongyeon stood out to her at that time. Even though it's their first date and not to mention the first time trying something like this, it was a pleasant night.
"I haven't gotten much of a chance to explore but I do enjoy spending some free time hiking or camping and occasionally these chill activities involve bungee jumping and surfing too" Jeongyeon spoke with a sparkle in her eyes.
"That's actually nice and very brave of you" the other woman mentioned after thinking about bungee jumping. Jeongyeon just waved off saying that it's not a big deal.
"You know I never had this type of drink which is so smooth and perfect, you have a great choice" Jeongyeon randomly mentioned it.
"You never had Martini and Rossi? it's one of my favourites and the best drink to have whenever I have a company" Jihyo said.
"And is there any specific reason for it or..." Jeongyeon was curious
"Kinda yes it has a lingering sweet taste and something I enjoy having while talking to someone" Jihyo then took another sip and savored the taste of her drink.
Soon it was the time to leave as both the women got up to leave, it felt like they didn't want the night to just end.
"So I was wondering.... " "Do you have any other... "
Both of them looked at each other slightly surprised by the timing but chuckling
"You should continue with your question" Jeongyeon gave Jihyo a soft smile.
"I was saying Do you have any other plans for tonight?" Jihyo mentioned looking around feeling uncertain to where to look at.
"I don't really have any plans unless this gorgeous woman has something in her mind then maybe...." Jeongyeon trailed off but this time putting that silly charming smile.
" and who would be that gorgeous woman?" Jihyo was amused by Jeongyeon's attempt to flirt with her but she definitely appreciated it.
"The one in front of me" Jeongyeon confidently said but her ears were turning red which didn't go unnoticed by Jihyo.
"Would you like to go to the park near the Han River?" Jihyo spoke this time feeling more confident and wanting to get her point across.
"It would be a pleasure" Jeongyeon motioned for Jihyo to walk towards her car. Suddenly Jeongyeon hurried towards the passenger side of the car and opened the door for Jihyo. Jihyo took the seat and Jeongyeon hurried to the driver seat and drove them to their destination.

Jeongyeon was driving through the streets smoothly making sure that she is careful even though they were sober yet she just wanted to be extra careful.

(The car stopped at a signal and Jeongyeon looked at Jihyo who faced her as well. No words were exchanged but that eye contact hold a lot of words for both of them. Uncertainty, Decisions, Insecurities, Courage, Desires, Adoration and Hope... Something they both needed after tonight.)

They didn't speak anything throughout the ride it wasn't an uncomfortable silence but it was something they needed after the dinner.
They arrived soon and Jeongyeon took her chance to remove her coat to cover Jihyo's shoulder as it was a chilly night. Jihyo tried to decline the offer but Jeongyeon wasn't going to listen. Soon they made their way to nearby benches which gave them a great view to the bridge and Han River. There was some soft music playing in the speakers that were near their seat.
As they settled down, Jihyo moved a little closer to Jeongyeon gently moving her hands on Jeongyeon's holding it and resting her head on Jeongyeon's shoulder.
"You know the reason why I asked you to take me here is because I always feel peaceful here. And I never expected myself to feel at peace so soon after meeting someone but I guess life has its ways to surprise us", Jihyo confessed.

"Honestly I wasn't prepared for what I was going to face today. But I am glad I decided to go on this date." Jeongyeon turned her head towards Jihyo facing her as she continued "you know there is something about you that just draws me in and I want to resist it but I cannot....." Jeongyeon took a breath that she didn't realize that she was holding "thank you trusting me with this place and for the best night Jihyo".
Jeongyeon was now clearly feeling her heartbeat ringing in her ears. Jihyo slowly moved her eyes to look at Jeongyeon's lips... It was tempting her... With the moonlight now highlighting Jeongyeon's features that she couldn't get a chance to look at closely while having dinner was enhanced. Jeongyeon took this as her chance to softly ask "may I kiss you?" and Jihyo couldn't trust her voice so she gave her a nod. Jeongyeon took another breath and then slowly moved her hands to hold Jihyo's face in between them. She was being so delicate because she was scared that this moment right here would just disappear if she isn't careful.
They slowly enclosed the gap between their lips feeling the softness of the lips and relaxing into the warmth that now they both share. It started as a simple kiss but slowly tongues got involved as Jeongyeon asked for permission. The Martini that they had earlier slowly lingered in her mouth as she took her chance to explore.

They parted from the kiss with breaths heaving. Jihyo felt a little bit exposed after sharing the kiss so she suddenly pulled Jeongyeon closer and buried her face in between her neck. Jeongyeon was surprised for a second but then slowly placed her hand on Jihyo's head and softly whispered "are you upset because you didn't like the kiss or..."
Jihyo interrupted her "shush I'm just trying to make sure that all of this is real and I'm not dreaming"
Jeongyeon just placed her lips on Jihyo's again, it was a kiss that lasted only a few seconds but enough for Jihyo to have this silly smile on while Jeongyeon said "does that confirm that this is real?"
"mm maybe yes.... maybe no... " Jihyo replied and laughed.
Jeongyeon was just shaking her head while smiling to herself thinking that she could definitely hear the latter's laugh everyday and maybe.... just maybe Martini and Rossi was now her favorite drink too.
