What Hurts Worse Than Heartbreak Is Betrayal

Summary:

"What about school?"

"You don't really care about school that much, so I don't think it would matter if you missed it, right?"

"Oh yea, school's lame anyway. I should take this as a vacation from it."

Or;

During a virus battle, Kevin gets bitten by a wolf. Tyler gets woken up and is no longer an oblivious idiot. Amy cries, boo, hoo so sad no one cares.

Notes:

I have become obsessed with Kevin and Tyler. Also Mem and Zen are married. Sue me.

(See the end of the work for more notes.)

Work Text:

Amy Anderson

Tyler Bowman's girlfriend of seven months already. Kevin Raynolds, Tyler's best friend of seven years

Kevin hated Amy. There were no words to describe how much he despised her. Well, no words that were appropriate. Either way, Kevin hated her so much he refused to participate in any group activities that she would be apart of.

Tyler wouldn't even try to convince him and change his mind, he would just call him selfish and stubborn.

And that he should spend time with Amy so he could get used to her. Kevin would rather jump into a tank of phiranas than be friends with Amy.

Why the hell would he be friends with someone he hates?! It didn't make any sense! That girl is a thief! She stole from him. Why hasn't he gone to police? If she stole something, he should report it. Only problem is that what she stole from Kevin wasn't an object. He was a person . Amy stole Tyler from him.

Of course he knows Tyler doesn't belong to him, no one can own someone. It was the type of stole that caused Tyler to always bail on their plans.

He wouldn't hang out with Kevin anymore because he had a girlfriend—Amy—and needed to spend all his time with her.

It made Kevin so... angry . He wanted to strangle Amy for taking his best friend away from him. But obviously, he could not do that. Because it was clear that Tyler would take her side and get angry at Kevin for "hurting" his precious girlfriend.

It made Kevin's face scrunch up in disgust. His other friends, Shope and the Roach—mainly Shope—could sense there was something off about him. Shope being as smart as she is, had her suspicions as to why Kevin was so angry whenever Tyler would leave their group to hang out with Amy.

At first she thought Kevin was jealous of Tyler, but later on it dawned to her that Kevin had a burning hatred for Amy.

"The more you glare at her like that, the more obvious it will be that you want to throw her into a volcano." Kevin looked at Shope, his hands released from fists and the fire in his eyes died out.

"I don't know what you're talking about." Kevin dismissed her accusation.

Shope let out a sigh. "We-" She glanced at Roach for backup, but he was distracted by a stray fuzz from a dandelion that was blown inside, "- I know how you feel about Tyler and Amy's relationship. To be honest, I don't like her that much either, but we should still be happy for Tyler, as he... loves her.." Her eyes traveled to Tyler and Amy. She had her both her hands on his arm. He had his free arm around her waist. She also had her head on his shoulder.

Kevin followed her gaze and the sight made him flare up with anger all over again. "I can't watch that bullshit." He snarled and stormed away.

"I think he's angry." Was the first time Roach spoke since he lost sight of that stray dandelion fuzz.

Shope was going to say something like 'Yea, no shit Sherlock,' but given as Roach is the youngest in the group, and the most innocent one, she decided not to. Because it would probably hurt his feelings. He's very sensitive about stuff like that.

People would often think he's not as smart as all the other kids because he gets distracted so easily and all the time, and he's not paying attention for people tell him important things. That wasn't true. Everyone is smart in their own way. Including Roach. He was still able to pick up that Kevin was angry, even while distracted by a dandelion fuzz.

"He sure is, very, very angry." Shope agreed.

The virus that had fallen this time infected a pack of wolves. It didn't make them huge and mutated like all the other virus infected animals the Supernoobs fought before.

They just looked more buff, with red eyes and went on a rampage.

"Go Battleball!" Tyler yelled, raising up his blue Battleball, the others followed his lead and they transformed into their supersuits.

Kevin turned into a wolf, to distract the other wolves. But that didn't really help. As Kevin was in battle, one of the wolves snuck up on him and bit his arm. Shope was close by and witnessed it.

"Kevin!" She used her powers, first she electrified the wolves then used a tornado to send them to Tyler who extracted the virus and turned them back to normal wolves.

They ran off due to being electrocuted and have swirled around in a tornado. Meanwhile Shope ran over to Kevin, he had changed back to human. There was a bite mark just above his wrist.

"Oh my goodness! Are you okay?" She held his shoulders. "I'm fine.." He muttered. "No you're not. We need to get you to Mem and Zen now." She threw his arm around her shoulder and helped him up.

"Guys help me!" She called to Tyler and Roach. Tyler hurried over and threw Kevin's other arm over his shoulder. Roach got under him and got Kevin on his shoulders.

The three of them all carried Kevin to the spaceship owned by their alien trainers, Memnock and Zenblock. "What happened to Kevin?" Mem asked when the teens walked in carrying him.

"He was bitten by a virus infected werewolf before we extracted it." Shope explained in the simplest and calmest way she could as she was kinda freaking out.

"He was bitten by a werewolf ?!" Mem shrieked. Shope nodded to confirm. "Oh jeez! This is bad! Really bad!" Mem panicked. The floating computer known as XR4TI made an appearance.

"Tell them what will happen to Kevin." Zen said.

"Due to Kevin's Battleball being connected to him via DNA, he will slowly but surely turn into a werewolf." XR4TI explained.

"What?!" All four noobs cried out all at once. "I can't be a werewolf!" Kevin removed himself from his friends, as they were still holding him. "Is there a cure?" He asked desperately. Mem and Zen looked at eachother. "Well... we need to figure that out..." Kevin stared at him with wide eyes. "You don't know ?" Zen shook his head. He was probably going to say something insulting like usual, but Mem interrupted him. "Something like this has never happened before. It's new. It will take time to figure out, but we promise we'll do whatever it takes to change you back, Kevin." Mem leaned down and put his... hand—if anyone can even call it that—on Kevin's shoulder.

"Are there like stages to this? Or is he just going to poof, werewolf?" Shope asked. Zen somehow magically pulled down a chart, with not so very good drawings of Kevin. It made him offended.

"Stage one, Kevin will start to have cravings for raw meat, stage two, he will begin to get more.. aggressive, stage three, Battleball malfunction and Kevin will be turned into a wolf, finally, stage four is when Kevin will get larger and start to walk on two legs, thus becoming a full-fledged werewolf." Zen pointed to each of the stages as he explained them. "How far apart will the stages take place?" Tyler asked, first time he spoke up since bringing Kevin back to the Galacticus. "A few weeks at most in between each stage." Zen answered.

Kevin glanced down at his arm. There were only two red dots that remained from the bite. He was healing fast. Must come with the property of being a werewolf.

"What happens when he gets aggressive? He'll be dangerous. What if he can't control himself while at school?" Kevin felt like he was struck by a bullet when Tyler spoke those words.

His own best friend thinks he'll be dangerous... "We're going to try and make a device that will slow down the transformation as much as possible to give us time to find out how to stop it permanently." Mem said.

"Kevin should stay here until we can make the device to stall the transformation." Zen stated. "What about school?" Kevin protested. Shope tried not to laugh. "You don't really care about school that much, so I don't think it would really matter if you missed it, right?" She obviously didn't mean to say it like that, sounding a little mean and offensive, but Kevin took it that way, on the inside at least.

So he did what he did best, played it cool and acted like it didn't effect him. "Oh yea, school's lame anyway. I should take this as like a vacation from it." He grinned.

Mem sensed there was something off about him. He had a feeling Kevin wouldn't want it to be brought up, so Mem didn't say anything.

He would talk to him when they had some privacy.

Kevin was alone in the Galacticus. But he wasn't completely alone, he had Mem, Zen and XR4TI as she was the one providing the research. Mem looked over at Kevin who was sitting on the couch. He nudged Zen. "Talk to him," he urged. "What the heck am I supposed to say?" Mem rolled his eyes. "He looks down, say something nice. Give him hope, tell him everything is going to be okay," Zen groaned.

"Why don't you just tell him that?" Zen argued. "It would be nicer coming from you." Mem glared at him. They continued to go back and forth.

Kevin, sitting on the couch, was hearing everything because Mem and Zen are horrible at whispering. He was getting pretty irritated until he snapped at them.

"Oh my god you guys are bickering like an old married couple!" Kevin turned around and leaned on the couch facing Mem and Zen with an angry expression on his face.

Mem and Zen stopped immediately and turned to him. "Old married couple?" Zen asked. Right, they were aliens. So they must have their own word for marriage on their planet that's not the same as it is on earth. XR4TI floated over to them and in their own language, translated what Kevin just said.

"What?!" Both male aliens exclaimed together. Both blushed. Mem's wasn't as visible because of his green skin. Zen on the other hand, had blue skin, so the red blush was much more visible on his face.

"Oh, no, no, no. We are not married, you are highly mistaken." Zen denied, face still red. "Yes, what he said." Mem agreed. Kevin raised an eyebrow.

"Yea, sure. Next you'll tell me you're not in love." Mem and Zen froze. "We are not "in love" as that is what you earthlings call it." Kevin rolled his eyes and went back to sitting on the couch properly.

Mem and Zen looked at eachother, then immediately turned away, both blushed like mad.

A week had passed since Kevin was bitten. The bracelet on his wrist stalled the turning process. He was only on stage one, craving raw meat.

It was mostly steak he wanted. Unfortunately, his jealousy was something that sped up the process to stage two, aggressiveness.

He got so angry when he saw Tyler and Amy it just booted to stage two much faster than it was supposed to.

It got even worse when Lunch came around. Tyler ditched them to sit with Amy and her friends, because she was obviously more important than his best friends.

They were feeding eachother. Kevin clenched his fists, the fork in his hand would certainly leave a mark.

Shope was sitting across from him and noticed. "Kev... what's wrong with your eyes?" Kevin didn't seem to hear her, he was too busy murdering Amy with his eyes.

His red eyes. Shope was freaking out. Roach wasn't paying attention. Tyler was sitting with Amy when he felt like eyes were literally burning the beck of his head.

He turned to see Kevin's red eyes looking directly at him. But... his head was turned slightly so his eyes were looking a tiny bit to his left. He turned to see who was sitting there. Amy.

Kevin wasn't glaring burning daggers at him, he was glaring burning daggers at her. But why would Kevin be looking at Amy like that?

Was he jealous of their relationship? Does he want what they have? Tyler wouldn't be surprised. Kevin was sometimes the jealous type.

But he was hardly ever jealous. Tyler stood up.

"I have to do something, I'll be right back." He kissed Amy's forehead, she giggled. And just that caused Kevin to explode. He was triggered.

As Kevin was storming over to the table where Amy was, he was absolutely ready to literally rip her throat out, Tyler was making his way over to him, he had to stop him from doing something he'd regret–not that Kevin would regret ripping Amy's throat out, because he wouldn't.

Kevin was too angry to notice Tyler was coming right for him.

The blonde gripped Kevin by his arms and teleported the two of them out and away from the cafeteria. Once Kevin could no longer see the person who was triggering him so much, he calmed down.

His eyes went back to their normal blue. "Hey Kev.. you good?" Tyler asked. Kevin finally noticed he was there. He had to try so hard to stop himself from blushing from how close he and Tyler were together. "Yea.. I'm good." Tyler sighed. "I'm going to take you back to the Galacticus. I don't think it's a very good idea if you stay at School. It would be better for Mem and Zen to keep an eye on you."

Kevin would usually jump to agree with Tyler, because of his kind of obvious to everyone—but Tyler—crush on him. But this made him mad.

He felt like Tyler was directly telling him he was too dangerous to be in School and that he should stay at the Galacticus like a caged animal.

It was like saying if Kevin was trapped in a burning building with Amy, Tyler wouldn't even think before he ran in to save his "beautiful precious most important person in his life" girlfriend.

Kevin would be left behind to burn. "Fine. I'll go back to the Galacticus. But don't think I'll forget this." He grabbed Tyler's wrist and aggressively pressed his Battleball that sent them back to the ship. He let go of Tyler's wrist and glared at him. "Go back to School Tyler, your precious little girlfriend needs her knight in shining armour!" Before Tyler could respond, Kevin pushed his Battleball again and it teleported Tyler away.

Kevin was still seething with anger even though Tyler was gone. Mem and Zen had witnessed the whole thing.

Mem sighed before he slowly walked over to Kevin, he placed a hand on his shoulder. Kevin whirled around. "What?!" Mem retracted his hand.

Kevin's face softened. "Sorry..." He looked at the floor. "Don't worry about it. You must be mad, and you have every right to be. What happened to you probably could have been prevented, but I don't know if it was predictable." Mem leaned down to Kevin's level and put both hands on his shoulders. "Don't worry about it kid, we'll help you get back to normal, right Zen?" The blue alien looked up from the ice cream he was eating. "Yes, yes. Of course. Whatever." Mem smacked him. Zen glared at him.

Then the two proceeded into an argument. Kevin facepalmed. He walked right up to them, hit their Battleballs aggressively, they turned into their human forms, Bob and Rob.

The next thing Kevin did was take the three of them to their house. He dragged them to the master bedroom and shoved them inside.

"And don't come out until you've relieved that sexual tension!" Kevin slammed the door.

"What the heck does he expect us to do?" Mem asked, he turned to look at the bed. He and Zen sat down on it. "I don't know. Maybe the Earth Internet will know." Zen pulled out the computer from behind his back and looked up "What two humans do on a large bed."

The results made Zen scream and slam the computer closed. "Kevin wants us to do that?!" Zen shrieked. Mem had gotten a look at the screen before Zen shut it. "I don't know! Neither of us is a "human female" so how is that supposed to work?" Mem didn't know who to ask, he was freaking out.

"Look it up.." Zen suggested. Mem closed his eyes as he opened up the computer again and typed something new in the search bar.

"How bed playing works with two male humans."

He was scared to click search, but he did it anyway. The results were... interesting. Mem was frozen. He couldn't move. He was just staring at the screen.

Zen raised an eyebrow. "Come on, it can't be that bad," he chuckled before turning the computer towards him.

"What?!" He froze too. He glanced at Mem. His face felt hot. That's never happened before. "What is this? Why does my face feel like it's burning?" He fanned his face with his hands. "I.. I think 'embarrassment' is what the humans call it.." Mem mumbled. His face was getting hot too. Curse their human bodies.

"D-do you want to do it..?" Mem gripped the sheets and looked down at his hands. "I-I don't k-know..." Zen pulled the computer over to him and typed in something new.

"Why do humans do the bed playing?"

The results said its usually because two people are in love. "They do it because they're "in love" as the Internet says." Zen answered his own question.

Mem took a deep breath before he looked at Zen, getting a good look at him. His face was still hot and then his heart started beating faster.

He didn't know what being in love was, but he might have just discovered it. He was imagining Zen surrounded by a pink flower covered sparkling background that made him look pretty. He had to admit, human Zen was really attractive, wherever he learned that word from. He thought about alien Zen. Actually, it didn't matter what form Zen took, because it was Zen himself.

But then he thought about Kevin. And Tyler. And Amy. Tyler and Amy loved eachother, then he thought about Kevin's behavior, then he knew. Kevin was in love with Tyler.

He was suffering in silence as the person he loved so much was in a happy relationship with the girl.

What other problems do humans have when they feel love for someone of the same gender? Kevin is already suffering so much, but he hides it so well.

"Mem? Hey, Earth to Memnock," Zen chuckled at his little Earth joke. "Kevin loves him.." Mem mumbled. "Huh?" Zen looked confused. "Kevin loves Tyler but Tyler doesn't love him back because he loves Amy." Mem repeated. "Oh. What does that mean?" Zen asked. Mem reached over and grabbed his arms. "It means Kevin is suffering. He's hurting. One day when it becomes too much he's going to break." He was close. Really close.

He was cute. Really cute. Or was it handsome? Zen didn't know and he didn't really care. Mem has always been cute.

Especially when he was a kid. Then there was when he was a teenager. Maybe he's always loved Mem and just never realized it. Coming to Earth opened his eyes.

"Zen.." Mem whispered. "Hm?" Green eyes met blue eyes. "What is it that humans do.. when they get close to eachother and... press their mouths together?" Zen blushed again.

"Uh.. I think that's called a kiss.." Mem moved a little closer. "I want to do that..." He said. Zen swallowed hard. "Y-yea.. me too.." The two leaned in until their lips connected. Both insecure about it because they've never kissed anyone before.

Mem was worried he wasn't doing it right and Zen was afraid he might get aggressive and hurt Mem.

They didn't need to worry, because it was like the kiss came naturally. Maybe humans have it in their instincts to know how to kiss without any problems.

Zen remembered a time he saw two humans doing it, their eyes were closed. Zen closed his eyes and Mem did the same.

Mem's hands were still on Zen's arms. He didn't know where to put them, because he really wanted to kiss Zen more.

He thought putting his arms around Zen's neck would make their kiss better, so he did that. It caught Zen by surprise but he didn't complain. He placed his hands on Mem's waist, like he knew exactly where to put them.

He was enjoying this. A lot. So was Mem. They were enjoying it so much that they didn't noticed that Shope kicked the door open. "Guys! Tyler took Amy on a picnic date in the forest and Kevin is missing! We looked everywh-" She stopped when she finally noticed them.

Mem and Zen broke apart. "Uhm.." Mem was a blushing mess and he buried his face in Zen's shoulder to hide his embarrassment. Shope was shocked, her glasses fell down a little and made them crooked, she fixed them.

The Roach didn't seem that bothered. He probably saw his parents do it all the time.

"Yes, yes, go find Kevin. We're busy." Zen shooed them away with his hand. Shope shivered. "We'll go. And I'll knock next time.." She ushered the Roach out of the room and shut the door immediately.

After they left, Zen lifted Mem's chin so he was facing him. "Now.. where were we?" Mem turned redder. Zen chuckled and kissed him again.

He wrapped his arms around his waist and pulled him down onto the bed.

"Where are you taking me?" Amy had her eyes closed as Tyler led her through the forest. "It's a surprise." He said.

Amy was about to peek when Tyler spoke again. "No peeking." She quickly shut her eyes again. Tyler chuckled.

He brought her to the blanket and picnic he set up earlier in a beautiful clearing in the forest. "Okay, you can open your eyes now." Amy opened her eyes. She gasped. "Wow.. it's beautiful Tyler.." She walked over to the blanket and sat down. She patted the spot next to her and gestured for Tyler to join. He did. They ate the sandwiches Tyler made. "These are good." Amy complimented him.

"Thanks. I've been practicing." Tyler grinned, proud of himself. Amy smiled at him. Tyler felt his heart speed up a little. But it wasn't a lot.

"You did all this for me.." Amy moved closer to him and placed her hand on his. She closed her eyes and leaned in. This is what Tyler's been waiting for.

Sure, they've been boyfriend and girlfriend for seven months, but they haven't kissed yet. Tyler leaned in too. He was about to shut his eyes when he heard a growl.

He pulled away and looked at the bushes. When Amy didn't feel him she opened her eyes to see him looking at the bushes. She followed his gaze and she saw it too. A snarling, growling black wolf was stalking towards them. Tyler stood up, determined to protect Amy.

He pulled the baseball bat out of his bag. Amy blushed, her boyfriend brought a bat to their date because he wanted to make sure she was protected from anything. She felt so special.

The wolf got closer. Tyler stood with the bat. But the wolf ignored him completely. It was going after Amy.

Tyler gasped, Amy screamed, the wolf lunged for her, Tyler got between them at lighting speed and hit the wolf like it was a home run.

The wolf let out a cry of pain. It struggled to get back to its paws. Tyler was angry, his grip on the bat tight.  The wolf looked up at him with glossy blue eyes. Ones that were so familiar. Tyler's anger vanished and was replaced with shock.  The wolf was Kevin. He had completely forgotten about him turning into a werewolf. Tyler dropped the bat and his hands flew to his mouth.

Kevin looked hurt, he felt betrayed. He pushed up to his feet and limped away. "No! Wait!" Tyler tried to follow but Amy grabbed his arm.

"What are you doing? That thing tried to hurt me." Kevin being called a thing made Tyler's blood boil. He pulled his arm away from her.

"That thing was my best friend! And I've been so distracted by you that I completely forgot about him!"

Amy frowned. "Who cares? I'm more important, I'm your girlfriend, I should come first." Tyler narrowed his eyes.

"Not anymore. We are over." Amy gasped as Tyler stomped away. His anger faded into worry as he searched for Kevin. It started to rain. "Kevin!" He called, "Kevin where are you?!" He was searching frantically.

His heart stopped when he heard the sound of a car's tires screeching against the road. "Kevin!" Tyler ran for the road.

Tears filled his eyes when he saw something black on the road. It wasn't moving. "No!" Tyler ran, he flipped over the furry animal. It was a wolf.

"No! No, no, no! Kevin don't you die on me! Don't you dare!" The wolf whimpered. There were lines of red static before the wolf transformed back into Kevin.

Tyler was holding him close. "Don't cry.." Tyler felt a hand on his cheek. Tyler grabbed his hand. "Don't speak. You need to save your strength." Kevin coughed.

"Nah.. I'll be fine." He winced. Tyler pulled him closer. "No you won't. Stop talking." He ordered. "Why did you come after me? I was about to kill Amy. And I wanted to. So badly. She stole you from me..." Kevin admitted. Tyler cupped his face. "Why didn't you tell me how you felt? If you did then I would've realized sooner how possessive she was. She was keeping me away from you guys and I never noticed. I'm so sorry Kev. I should have known. I broke up with her, she and I are over. I promise." Kevin didn't know what to say.

"I really like you Tyler.." Kevin whispered. Tyler's face turned red and his heart beat faster, so much faster than it did when he was with Amy.

Tyler knew what he had to do. He leaned down and planted a kiss on Kevin's lips. He got worried when Kevin didn't kiss back.

He pulled away and saw that Kevin's eyes were closed and it seemed like he wasn't breathing. "Kevin..?" No answer. Tyler shook him gently. "Kevin wake up.." Tears flowed down his face. "Kevin... I told you not to die on me..." Tyler was shaking, he wasn't going to let Kevin go, he felt like if he did Kevin would drift away from him and he wouldn't be able to get him back. Tyler cried, he almost forgot they were in the middle of the road. He could hear sirens.

He also heard footsteps. "We have a one over here! Get me a stretcher!" The paramedic tried to take Kevin, but Tyler pulled him away.

"No! You can't take him! I need to stay with him." The paramedic sighed. "We need to take him to the hospital." Tyler still wouldn't let go of Kevin.

"He's still alive kid, and he won't be any longer if you don't let us assess him." Tyler looked at Kevin one last time before he handed him over to the paramedics.

They got him stable and into the ambulance. "Do you want to come with him?" Tyler didn't need to be asked, he jumped into the ambulance and sat down, talking Kevin's hand.

There were still tears in his eyes. The guilt of believing Kevin getting hurt was his fault was eating him up. "Tyler..." A small gasp escaped the blonde boy's lips.

"What are you doing? You shouldn't be talking. You should be resting." Kevin was in pain but he forced a smile. "I wanted to tell you something. I passed out before I could kiss you back." Tyler's face felt hot.

Kevin knew about that. But he also just said he wanted to kiss back. He would have if he didn't lose consciousness.

"Can we try that kiss again?" Kevin asked. "When you get discharged from the hospital." Tyler said. "Oh c'mon that's not fair." Kevin complained.

"Dude, you were hit by a car! You need to recover." Tyler argued. "Hey, you kissed me before I was even put in this ambulance." Tyler got flustered again. "That was different! I thought you were going to die in my arms. When your eyes were closed I thought you did. I thought you were dead, Kev. I couldn't live with myself if I knew you died and I couldn't do anything to save you. I would never forgive myself for letting you die.." Kevin squeezed Tyler's hand to bring him reassurance.

"It wasn't your fault. I should have watched where I was going." Kevin said. "But I also hit you with that baseball bat like you were a home run! I was so blind, I should've known that was you." Tyler buried his face in his hands.

"You can't blame yourself for Amy being a distracting bitch." Kevin said. Tyler couldn't stop the smile from forming on his face. "True... but still... I let her get to me.." A voice that didn't belong to Kevin spoke up.

"You need to stop blaming yourself. It was an accident. It was raining, the driver was also drunk and wasn't looking at the road. He is at fault." The paramedic said, then he turned to Kevin. "And you need to get some rest, you can talk with your boyfriend more when we get you signed into the hospital and into a nice bed."

Tyler blushed. Kevin wanted to hide his face but he was still on the stretcher so that wasn't possible. "He's not.." Tyler was about to deny it when changed his mind. "No. He is, he is my boyfriend."

Kevin looked up at him, he smiled, despite the pain he was in. "Are you sure?" He asked. "More than sure. What do you think?" Tyler smiled at him.

"Boyfriends.." Kevin took a moment to take it in. "I like the sound of that." He said. "Yea, me too." Tyler agreed.

Mem had his head on Zen's chest, the latter had his arm around Mem's waist. "Hey Zen," Mem turned his head so he was directly facing him. "Hm?" Mem paused before he continued. "Do you remember all those times the neighbors invited us over for dinner? And when we invited them over? Like with those new parents who let the noobs look after their new baby, and then when the Roach's parents had us over... and all the other times. Do you think they thought we were.. married?" Zen sat up slightly to let Mem get more comfortable.

"Probably. But they didn't ask because they were afraid of getting it wrong and then being embarrassed." Mem shifted around a bit so his chest was on top of Zen's.

"Would you ever want people to be right about thinking we're married..?" He seemed a bit insecure about asking. They just finished "bed playing" as they renamed it.

Mem didn't want to admit he was still sore. He was. Only a little thought, he's tough. Maybe he wasn't that tough when Zen was doing things to him. But he didn't mind, he loved it.

Zen leaned forward and pecked Mem on the lips. "Yes." Was his answer. "I want to be married to you." Mem propped himself up with his arms, still on Zen's chest. "Really? You want to marry me?" Zen answered by kissing him again. "I want to marry you too..." Mem mumbled against his lips.

"Then let's get married." Zen pulled away to say it. Mem stared at him in disbelief. "What? How?" Zen pushed Mem up so he was sitting on top of him. "Let's ask the noobs. They should know." Then the phone rang.

Zen answered. "What?" He said, annoyed. "What?" His face paled. "What?!" He hung up the phone, jumping up, forgetting Mem was on top of him and sending him tumbling to the floor.

"What? What happened?" He asked. "Kevin is in the hospital! He was hit by a car! And he's human again. Tyler dumped Amy and now he and Kevin are together." Zen talked so fast Mem almost missed what he was saying. "What?!" Zen rushed to get his clothes back on and tossed Mem his. They got dressed quickly and rushed to the hospital. Zen tried not to drive too fast, as soon as he got there he parked and he and Mem got out.

They rushed inside and to the desk. "Can I help you?" The lady asked. "Yes. We're here for Kevin Raynolds." She raised an eyebrow. "Are you family?" She asked. "N-" Mem cut Zen off. "Yes. We're his dads." The lady smiled.

"Room 207 on the left." Mem thanked her and grabbed Zen's hand and pulled him down the hall. "We're not his dads." He said. "I know that. But she wouldn't of let us by if we said we were his "alien space trainers," she would have thought we were crazy. And if we showed her, she would freak out and call the police, and that would lead to scientists and probably disection." Mem explained.

"Have I ever told you how much I love you?" Zen had a goofy smile on his face. "You did now." Mem pulled him in for a kiss before he stopped in front of the room. He entered. Kevin was lying in a bed. Tyler beside him. Shope and the Roach across from him. "What the hell happened?" Zen demanded.

"I took Amy on a picnic, I forgot about what happened to Kevin, he found us when he was a wolf, tried to attack Amy, I was dumb and blind and I hit him with a baseball bat, I realized too late it was him, he ran away, I tried to go after him, Amy stopped me, she said she was more important, I dumped her, ran after Kevin, heard a car screech, saw Kevin on the road, he turned human again when I reached him, he told me how he felt, I thought he was going to die so I kissed him, the paramedics arrived, saved his life, on the way here we became boyfriends, then we got here, Kevin went into surgery, it went well, they settled him into this room, I called those two, they arrived, I told them the exact same story, they called you and then you got here, you know the rest." That took a lot of breath out of Tyler.

"Mem and I want to get married." Zen blurted out.

All four teens stared at them. "You didn't do what I told you to do.. did you?" Kevin asked. "Yes. We did." Getting hit by a car wasn't going to erase the memory of him basically telling Mem and Zen to have sex with eachother.

"How do we get married?" Mem asked, changing the subject. "You can have a small little ceremony of all your friends and family, or you can go to Town Hall and sigh papers."

Mem and Zen looked at eachother. "I want a ceremony." Mem was the first to speak. Zen just nodded his head. "Me too." He agreed.

"But that's going to take a lot of planning. You need food, music, guests, the rings, grooms men, someone to preside over the ceremony who will marry you, and somewhere to get married, also decorations, suits, one can be white and the other black, or both can we white whatever you want, it's going to be a lot of work." Shope explained. Mem and Zen looked at eachother before looking back at her. "It'll be worth it." They said together. Shope grinned. "Leave everything to me. I got this." She said.

"I honestly don't know how you pulled this off." It was the day of the wedding. Shope had organized everything, location, food, guests, decorations, music, the whole shebang.

Her friends were more than impressed. "I have my ways." Shope responded to Tyler's comment.

"Let's go check on those two." Tyler said. Shope nodded, she went to Zen's room, the Roach was there with him, helping him get ready.

Meanwhile Tyler joined Mem, who was getting help from Kevin. Mem was a lot more nervous than Zen was apparently. Zen was nervous, he just didn't show it as much as Mem did.

Kevin smiled brightly when he saw Tyler come into the room. He met him halfway into a kiss. It was only supposed to be a peck, but they got so lost in eachother's lips it lasted longer. At least, until Mem interrupted them. "Ahem." He cleared his throat and that forced the boys to break apart, their faces red and lips slightly swollen.

"Hate to break it to you two lovebirds, but this is my wedding day, you can be all lovey-dovey at your own wedding." He said. Tyler and Kevin helped him finish getting ready before they left the room giggling like little girls.

"I'm glad you could come dad." Zen's dad smiled. "Of course. Memnock was always this cheerful kid, I liked him. I'm proud of you son, make sure you keep him. He's a good one." Zen's dad was in human form. All the aliens had taken human form because of the real humans at the ceremony. Including Roach's parents.

They were a little confused, because they thought Mem and Zen—or as they know them, Bob and Rob—were already married. But they were happy nonetheless to be invited.

"Your mother would be so proud of you Zenblock." Zen smiled. "I know. I wish she was here." He said. His dad put an arm around his shoulder. "Me too son, me too." They both looked up at the sky and had a moment of silence. Then Zen's dad looked back down.

"Let's get you married." He smiled.

Mem was with his mother. "Oh, my little baby is all grown up. He's getting married." She was getting very emotional. Mem's dad had to get her to calm down.

"I'm proud of you son. Even if you did almost give me another heart attack when you told us you were getting married." He chuckled.

Mem smiled. "Sorry about that. We were just so excited, I didn't want to wait another minute to marry Zen. I love him so much." The only thing in Mem's eyes was pure love as he talked about Zen. Mem's Mom hugged him. "I always knew there was something special about that boy. I adored the way you two played together. I'm so honored I get to call him my son." She linked arms with him, then the two walked out the door, Mem's Dad went ahead to find a seat and joined Zen's family.

Zen was already standing at the alter, waiting for Mem and his Mom to come down the isle. Zen was wearing a black suit while Mem wore white.

Zen's heart skipped a beat when he saw him. He was so happy he decided to marry the man he loved. Even if they skipped a major step in human romantic relationships, the actual dating part, and just got right to marriage, they're doing fine.

Mem had a huge smile on his face when he joined Zen, standing only a foot away from him. Zen had an identical smile on his face. General Blorgon agreed to preside over the ceremony. He was honoured. "We are gathered here today to honour the love between these two souls, M- ehem, Bob and Rob. If anyone has any objections to their love, speak now or forever hold your peace." No objections were made.

"Bob, do you take Rob, to be your lawfully wedded husband, to cherish him, to love him, and to care for him, for as long as you both shall live?"

"I do."

General Blorgon turned to Zen. "And Rob, do you take Bob to be your lawfully wedded husband, to cherish him, to love him and to care for him, for as long as you both shall live?"

"I do."

"Then by the power vested in me, I now pronounce you husband and husband, you may kiss."

Zen took Mem's face in his hands and they shared a beautiful love-filled kiss. Everyone cheered. The rest of the night was beautiful. Everyone danced, Mem and Zen were happily married, Mem's parents and Zen's Dad got along great and they were glad to be a combined family.

Zen whispered something in Mem's ear that made him blush. "Zen, you are so dirty minded." Zen smirked and kissed his cheek. "What? Am I not allowed to do those kinds of things with my husband?" Mem playfully rolled his eyes.

"We can do that when we get home, let's just enjoy tonight." Zen seemed a little disappointed, but he agreed.

"Right, because tonight is about us."

Kevin and Tyler lay cuddled up on Tyler's bed. "Ty..?" Kevin mumbled. "Yea Kev?" Tyler hummed. "Can we get married like Mem and Zen did?" He asked. "Kev, babe, we're fourteen." Kevin looked up at him. "I know that. But I don't want to wait. I love calling you my boyfriend, but I would feel even better if I got to call you my hubby so no bitches will take you away from me." He grinned.

Tyler was about to say he shouldn't call people "bitches" but he loved Kevin too much to argue with him. He also tried to ignore that Kevin wanted to call him "hubby." But he wasn't complaining.

"So is that a yes?" Kevin looked at him with shinning eyes. "Can we even get married? Like is it possible to get married this young?" Tyler asked.

"There's only one to find out. We have to ask." Kevin insisted. He got out of the bed to put his clothes on. Tyler followed him.

"You want to.. get married? To eachother?" Kevin and Tyler were at town hall, wondering if it was possible for them to get married.

"Okay," The lady at the desk took off her glasses and pinched the bridge of her nose. Then she put them back on. "How old are you boys?" She asked. "We're both fourteen." Kevin said.

"Fourteen?" The lady repeated. Tyler and Kevin nodded. "No one that young has ever gotten married before. I don't know if it's possible." She said.

"I'm sorry boys, I don't think you can get married. But come back in a couple years, it might work out then." She smiled politely at them.

Kevin had a sad expression. He looked at Tyler, his eyes sad. Tyler hated seeing his boyfriend upset, he was determined to make him happy.

He turned back to the lady. "Please, is there any way we can get married?" Tyler looked up at her with pleading eyes. The lady could see how badly they wanted to get married, these boys were desperate, and so in love.

"Alright, I might be able to get it authorized if a parent or guardian signs a form." Tyler and Kevin's eyes lit up. "Really?" She nodded. "I can't promise, but it's worth a shot." She told him. "Oh thank you! Thank you so much!" Tyler then turned to Kevin and grabbed his hands. "We can get married?" Kevin asked eagerly. "We can get married!" Tyler answered cheerfully.

They jumped up and down in excitement and then Tyler pulled Kevin into a passionate kiss. The lady was glad she could make them happy.

Tyler pulled away and just looked at Kevin woth pure love in his eyes before speaking. "Let's call Mem and Zen and ask if they can sign for us." Tyler suggested. Kevin nodded, he pulled out his phone and called Mem.

"Yes?"

"Can you and Zen come to Town Hall?" Kevin asked. He heard shuffling around and he did not want to imagine what was happening on the other line.

"Uh sure.. but why?"

"Tyler and I want to get married. But we need a parent or guardian to sign a form of agreement." Kevin explained.

"Okay, we'll be right there!" Mem hung up. Kevin grinned. "They're on their way." He announced proudly.

A few minutes later Mem and Zen—as Bob and Rob—entered Town Hall, proudly holding hands. They walked up to the desk where Kevin and Tyler were.

"So how do we get these two married?" Mem asked. The lady smiled and pulled out some papers. "So you're guardians?" She asked. "Actually we're Kevin's Dads." Mem put his arms on Kevin's shoulders. "Even better," the lady said—she introduced herself as Mrs. Miller but insisted they call her Jane—and took out a pen.

She pushed them over and told Mem where to sign. And after pen hit paper, Kevin and Tyler were legally allowed to get married, even at the age of fourteen.

Kevin and Tyler thanked Jane a million times before leaving, Zen had brought a huge sign that said 'Just Married' in big capital letters and Tyler and Kevin ran out of the building holding it up.

They made a quick stop to the jewelry store to get matching rings, then they went home.

School the next day was going to be interesting.

Tyler was a popular boy, with girls of course. The news of his and Amy's break up spread like wildlife. Now that he was "single" girls were lining up to ask him out. They obviously didn't know he was already taken.

He and Kevin weren't only dating, they were married. No one knew, except their friends. There were a couple of girls, one—no one cares what her name is—made her way over to Tyler and began to flirt with him. He looked very uncomfortable.

She even had the nerve to touch him.  It made Kevin angry. "Get your disgusting girly hands off him!" He slapped her hand away. She glared at him. "I can talk to him, he doesn't have a girlfriend." She sneered.

"You have no right to do that! He's uncomfortable." She rolled her eyes.

"So what? Is he your boyfriend?" The girl snickered. "No," Kevin shrugged. The girl smirked and was about to speak when Kevin shoved his hand in her face that had a very nice gold band on his finger. "He's my husband , bitch." He stuck his tongue out at her and double flipped her off. "Now go cry like a bitch," and she did. She ran away to her friends. They glared at Kevin but he flipped them off too.

Tyler stared at him, then Kevin sucked in a breath to announce it to the entire school. "He's mine fuckers! Talk to the fucking wedding ring assholes!" He yelled.

All eyes were on him, but he didn't care. "If anyone has a problem with us, fuck you! I love Tyler more than anything and I will not let anyone split us apart!" He announced loudly.

Tyler wasn't sure whether to be freaking out about what Kevin just said, or proud of him for speaking up to protect their relationship.

He decided to go with the latter. Tyler stepped forward and grabbed Kevin's hand. "Neither will I! Because I love Kevin, and nothing will ever break us up because we are married!" He yelled. He intertwined their fingers and the two boys looked at eachother with nothing but love and admiration for the other.

Some people cheered for them, others scoffed, scowled and rolled their eyes. Amy looked pissed. Tyler noticed her.

He flipped her off then pulled Kevin in for a passionate kiss. Amy growled and stormed away. Tyler pulled away because he couldn't stop himself from giggling.

"She is so mad..." Kevin started laughing too. "She's just jealous of us." He stated. "Yea, she is." Tyler agreed.

"I love you.." Kevin whispered.

"I love you too..." Tyler murmured back. They kissed again, not a care in the world about who saw them.

Those two were just proof that people can get married as young as fourteen if they loved eachother enough.

Notes:

Amy doesn't deserve happiness.
