Work Text:
When the force finishes showing Osha what truly happened that day, her vision fades to black and tears well in her eyes. She begins panting feeling like the mask she has on is suffocating her, but the revelation of what just happened has consumed so much of her she finds herself unable to remove it. Sol. . . she trusted him. She loved him so dearly and after all these years how could he look her in the face and not tell her.
Why do you love people who can only go so far? Who can’t go as deep as you can?
Qimir’s words rang in her head, mocking her. Hating the truth, hating that he was right. Her pants quickly morph into gasps and she begins to feel like she’s struggling to breathe. Her vision starts to go dark in an entirely different kind of way, when the mask is suddenly ripped off of her. When her eyes are met with the light of the cave, a pair of hands grabbing her by the wrists quickly follow.
“Breathe,” Qimir tells her, unflinchingly calm.
She finds herself annoyed, doesn’t he think that’s what she’s trying to do.
“Breathe,” he says again and for some reason she’s too overwhelmed to even think about, it slowly begins to work. Her breaths slowly calm down and she stares into his stoic face. His darks eyes complimenting his dark hair. “You don’t have to believe me, Osha, but I am sorry about what happened to you,” he tells her.
The statement turns her fear into anger.
She knows what kind of monster he is. This mask was a trap to get her to join him, get her to fall into darkness alongside him. He doesn’t care about her, it seems no one truly does. . . all he wants from her is this ‘power of two’ thing he spoke of. He wants to see what anger, fear, and loss do for her.
“Don’t touch me!” She spits out as she pushes him away. It doesn’t move him back any further which only makes her even more upset. However it does manage to free her arms from his grasp. “I’m not my sister,” she tells him again as she fruitlessly pushes against his chest.
Tears threaten to spill from her brown eyes as she pushes against his chest again. She thinks of Sol, Mae, Jeki and Yord. The Jedi Order. How they all abandoned her with him. Another push hits chest and this time it does send him a few steps backwards.
“Doesn’t it feel good, Osha?” he asks her, completely unbothered by her recent actions. “Not having to force it down, not having to act like it doesn’t exist,” he tells her.
As his words settle in, she becomes aware of herself, how her shoulder feels like there was a large weight removed from them. Like she can finally breathe clearly. She’s never felt this free in her entire life, not back with her Coven and not with the Jedi Order.
“Feel it,” he says and unlike before his words don’t spark anger in her. “Feel every last bit of it,” he tells her, his words coursing through her entire body. It leads to a different emotion, one she’s tried to ignore for so long. One she felt when she his lightsaber against him and his hand had grabbed her arm.
That’s when remembers his words, below the surface of consciousness are powerful emotions, anger, fear, loss, and. . . Like the other emotions he laid out to her, this one too was all consuming. Desire.
She walks towards him and lifts her arms up and instead of pushing him away this time she places her hands on his robed chest with a surprising gentleness. He tilts his head at her, studying her. She looks into his eyes for a moment, before eyes fall to what she’s been desiring. Even when she knew it was wrong to.
Another step is taken and now they're only a breath away from one another. If this were any other moment, she would have doubted herself and gotten into her own head about it. This time though, she pushes herself up by the tips of her toes and presses her lips against his. Qimir seemed to have already read her moves by a lightyear away, because the moment their lips touched he wrapped his arms around her waist and returned the kiss with an experience Osha has yet to have, but what she may lack in experience she makes up for in need and want. She follows his lead and brings her hands to the back of his neck, where locks of his black hair intertwine with her fingers.
Qimir pulls her into him and they’re pressed against each other chest to chest. His hold on her almost hurts with the strength he’s using. Osha’s body relishes in it though, it’s like every cell in her body is craving for more. It sends a pulse inside of her that feels much stronger than the force. Without even realizing it, Qimir was leading Osha to be pressed up against the wall and the moment she gasped as her back hit the wall, he introduced his tongue against hers in a way that made her knees feel weak. Qimir’s arms doing a good job of keeping her standing up straight.
Now that she’s once again reminded of those arms, her hands trail down from his neck to his shoulders, and eventually those arms. The ones that plagued her in both good and bad ways. She knows the bad things they’ve done, but at this moment she can’t help but be curious of what other things they are capable of.
Osha feels hot all over, in the best kind of way, and it only increases when Qimir inserts his knee between her legs. He then shifts it up and sparks explode inside of her brain as his thigh rubs against her now pooling heat. While never having felt so good. . . so alive. , , it also wakes her up in a way she wasn’t just a few moments ago. She was quite distracted though.
She turns her head away from his as she remembers what she’s doing and who she’s doing this with.
“I—I can’t,” she says as she slides away from him. It being quite easy to do as Qimir’s hold on her had laxed.
She looks at him once more and she picks up the barest hint of a smile. She’s not sure how she feels about that, she knows she’s made a huge mistake, but she doesn’t hate it either.
“I need some air,” she tells him as she makes her way out of the cave.
As she makes her way outside the cool air of the ocean breeze hits her hot cheeks and it feels like cold water on a hot day. She looks up into the night sky, the constellation pattern totally unfamiliar to her as finds herself more comfortable with the darkside than she’d care to admit.
