it was the middle of the afternoon at UA high, class 1-A was currently in mr. aizawa’s class chatting away. “okay, okay quiet down” aizawa speaks up, shaking packets in his hand. “aw man.. packets” denki mutters quietly while frowning. “they’re not just any kind of packets, you guys will be put into groups of two. these packets tell you what you’re group will be doing, due dates, how it should be done, etcetera. midoriya come pass these out” aizawa slaps the packets on the table while sipping his coffee. once everyone has their packets, aizawa speaks up again.
“the groups will be as such:”
“midoriya and tsuyu”
“sero and yaoyorozu”
“iida and aoyama”
“ojiro and hagakure”
“kaminari and kirishima”
“mina and uraraka”
“mineta and sato”
“tokoyami and shouji”
“koda and jirou”
“bakugou and todoroki”
“WHAT. THE. FUCK?!” bakugou yells. everyone looks at him, some not even surprised. aizawa facepalms, “bakugou.. what is the issue?” he sighs. “first things first.. you pair me with.. with.. ICYHOT. second things second, WHY WAS I ANNOUNCED LAST?!” he says, very loudly. “ugh bakugou.. i honestly dont have time for your shenanigans. sero you’re with todoroki, and bakugou you’re with yaoyorozu. now everyone get into your groups.” aizawa says yawning. “oh, alright.” todoroki says unphased, while walking over to sero. “whats up ‘roki! lets get to work!” sero says smiling, he was super excited to be working with his crush favorite classmate!

later on, todoroki and sero were sitting on the roof at lunch working on their project. it was todoroki’s idea that they should try and finish early. “hey, you should come sleepover at my house so we can finish! my mom and grandma wont be home though” sero suggests while shoving his hand into the bag of chips he and todoroki were sharing. “well, sure. what time should i be there? should i bring anything?” todoroki asks while typing away at his keyboard. after sero is done chewing, he replies “mmm just the stuff for the project and anything else you might need. i’ll text you when you can start coming” while dusting off his hands. todoroki nods his head in agreement, closing his laptop. “i could also just come home with you if it’s easier. we wear about the same size in clothes” todoroki says, now looking at sero. sero, who was recently putting things into his bag, turns his head quickly at the suggestion. “UHM UH- NO, i mean, nah thats okay. i have to clean the house and stuff so it looks ‘presentable’ heh..” he replies, his face going a bit red (but its just because of the spiciness of the chips!). “are you sure? i could help you clean.” todoroki asks again. “UHM WELL-“ the bell rings. “OH UH I GOTTA GO” sero replies, not wasting a second longer in that.. situation. “huh.. that’s strange.” todoroki shrugs his shoulders as he picks up his bag to walk to his next class.
after sero abruptly left the rooftop, he started thinking. why would todoroki want to come to his house so soon..? it’s not like it would take that long for him to get to sero’s house. maybe he had ulterior motives? no, todoroki would probably communicate that. so, why was he so persistent in coming to sero’s house? oh well, he’ll just ask him later. most importantly, what was the name of those chips..

currently, sero was walking out of UA high school to go home. he was listening to music through his fresh, new, and shiny pair of jet black headphones (that todoroki happened to give him as a birthday gift, how friendly of him!). speaking of todoroki, sero doesnt notice his presence until he feels a light tap on his shoulder. “huh..? oh! hey ‘roki!” sero says startled, but turns around and gives him a bright grin. “hello sero, i thought i would walk with you since my house is also in this direction.” todoroki replies to the boys greeting. sero nods his head in agreement, slowing down his pace so that they can walk together. todoroki had noticed sero using the new headphones, and smiled softly to himself. they continue walking until sero points out his house, “heres my humble abode, mi casa, my safe haven!” sero says happily. “you have a very beautiful house sero. it suits you.” todoroki speaks in a dazed manner, almost as if he was looking at sero instead. “thanks bro!” the boy replies. “are you going to be okay walking the rest of the way home?” sero asks, just incase. “i’ll just call an uber.” todoroki says as if it was the most obvious thing in the world. sero is surprised at this news, why didnt he just call an uber from the start? “why didn’t you do that when we were at the school? you wouldn’t have had to walk all this way..” sero says looking confused. “because sero, i wanted to guarantee your safety on your way home. also, i just wanted to be with you longer.” todoroki says, now looking sero dead in the eyes. sero blazes red hearing this information. todoroki wanted to.. guarantee his safety?? “i- uhm.. ah..” the ravenette mutters. he was at a loss for words, why him? “you’re red, are you okay? do i need to come inside?” todoroki asks leaning in closer, very concerned as to why his friend was acting this way. “NO! no, no i’m okay.. thanks todoroki!” sero says, coming back to reality. “call me shouto, i’ll see you later” todoroki smiles as he walks away dialing a number in his phone. “FIRST NAME BASIS?!” sero thinks, LOUDLY. without much of a thought, he runs to the sidewalk to yell at todoroki, “YOU CAN CALL ME HANTA!!”. todoroki turns around and nods in acknowledgement with a small grin, then he continues walking. sero quickly ran into his house and up into his room. “AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA” he screams into his pillow.

the time is now 4:18pm and sero is wiping down counters, mopping floors, polishing furniture and whatnot. he also took it upon himself to order a pizza because who has time to cook nowadays? after he finished with the downstairs, he went upstairs to clean his room. he puts food wrappers in the trash, sanitizes his nightstand and desk, vacuums his carpet, and most importantly he makes his bed. he wants everything to look presentable so todoroki doesn’t think he lives like a slob. next operation: snacks. he runs back downstairs and dishes out bowls from the cabinet, varying in size. he runs to the pantry to pull out bags of chips for the larger bowls, and some candy for the smaller ones. he pours the snacks into their respective bowls and places them on the living room table. about 45 minutes ago he had texted todoroki to start coming to his house, and now todoroki texted him back.
todoroki: Hey, I’m 5 minutes away. Should I get you anything from the gas station?
sero: cool
sero: no u don’t need to get me anything, txt me when ur here so i can let u in
todoroki: Okay.
sero sighed, throwing his phone on the couch. he was in charge of taking the project papers home so now he was setting everything up for them to get to work. he took out various items such as pencils, markers, pens, etc. he also turns on the tv and plays a random channel because how could he ever work without background noise? as sero was mindlessley channel surfing, there was two firm knocks at the door. sero immediately leaps up from the couch and heads to the door. as he opens the door and leans against the frame, he is met with the face of none other than…. todoroki! i mean.. who else? “hey hanta, i brought some snacks and stuff.” he shuffles the stuff in his hands, “where should i put them?” he says looking sero dead in the eyes. i don’t think that was intention, he just has really, reaaaally nice eyes.. yea! “hanta?” todoroki waves his hand in sero’s face. “wh- oh, right uhm.. just place it on the kitchen table, you didn’t need to bring any heh..” sero rubs his neck, “anyways, come inside! you can put your bags by the steps” he beckoned todoroki inside then pointed to the steps. as todoroki walks inside, he shuts and locks the door. he totally doesn’t watch todoroki’s back muscles flex as he sets everything down.. why would he do that? “i had ordered a pizza earlier for us,” sero checks his watch, “should be here anytime now!” he says as he sits down on the couch. “how much was the pizza?” todoroki asks, also sitting down. “i dunno, like twenty bucks?” sero shrugs. he looks over at todoroki with sheer panic as he sees him pull a $50 bill out his wallet. “DUDE DUDE CHILL, ITS FINE” sero takes the money and puts it back into the wallet. “but you spent money?” todoroki looks at him confused. “yes i did spend money, and that’s fine.” sero says, patting todoroki on the back. “if you insist..” the other sighs as he shoves his wallet back into his pocket. sero stands up as he hears the doorbell. pizza time!! sero rushes to the front door to greet the driver and grab the pizza. “thank you!” he says quickly then shuts the door. “i wasn’t sure if you ate pepperoni so i just ordered cheese.” he sets the pizza down on the coffee table with the rest of the snacks. “do you want something to drink?”. “just water is fine”, sero nods in acknowledgment as he disappears into the kitchen. a little less than two minutes later, he returns with two glasses of water. he places the water on the table and cracks his knuckles,“alright! let’s get to work”.

sero falls back on the couch and groans loudly. he glances at the clock hanging next to the tv. it was already 8 pm??? he could’ve sworn todoroki had just came.. but anyways it was probably best that they clean up. “great work today ‘roki!” sero puts his hand up for a high five. todoroki returns the gesture and the sound of a “clap” resonates through the living room. “i can put the stuff away and you can just meet me in my room, first door on your left. i have a bathroom in my room that you can use to change.” sero says as he stands up from the couch and starts putting the papers and other materials away. “you don’t want any help?” todoroki asks, also getting up. “nope i got it! what kind of host would i be if i made my guest clean?” he chuckles, tossing the empty pizza box by the trash. todoroki nods then grabs his bag and heads up the stairs. sero sighs softly as he finally gets a moment to breathe. he was hardly even focusing on the work, all he could think of was todoroki. his hair, his eyes, his voice, his mouth.. WAIT WHAT? MOUTH? sero shook his head quickly and went back to cleaning, his face a raging red.

the light switch makes a satisfying click as sero turns off the light in the kitchen. he then walks upstairs into his room and sees todoroki sitting in his bean bag chair. not to mention he looks really nice in his pajamas.. but that’s what bros do, compliment each other! “you could’ve sat on my bed if you wanted to” sero says closing his door. “it’s okay, your bed looked so nice. i didn’t want to mess it up” todoroki says turning his phone off and putting it away. uhm well now they’re just staring at each other.. cmon say something!! “uh well i’m gonna change really quick!” sero says grabbing some random pajamas off his dresser then hurries into his bathroom. he leans against the closed door for a bit before starting to change. this is totally not sero. i mean he was never nervous around todoroki before.. also he never payed that much attention to his features either. sero comes to the ultimate conclusion that he MIGHT have a TINY crush on todoroki. oh well! he throws the clothes he was wearing into his hamper and walks out the bathroom. “is there anything you wanna do? we could watch a movie” sero suggests jumping onto his bed. “a movie sounds good, i want to watch your favorite one” todoroki agrees, glancing at the tv then back at sero. “well okay! you can come sit next to me” sero pats the spot next to him on the bed. todoroki gets up and sits down on the bed, placing his feet up as well. sero goes to his favorite rom-com movie, he feels that it’s something todoroki would like.

a few hours later, way after finishing the movie, the two boys are just chilling on sero’s bed. not gonna lie.. sero has been stealing multiple glances at todoroki for the past hour now. he goes to take another one but was definitely NOT expecting todoroki to catch him. they kinda just stare at each other for a good couple of seconds. “is something the matter, hanta?” todoroki asks setting his phone down. “uh.. no not at all! sorry..” sero dismissed his concern. todoroki moves closer to sero in his corner on the bed until he’s right in front of him. he sits down and crosses his legs (criss-cross applesauce). sero is TOTALLY NOT having internal gay panic right now, what type of nonsense is that? “hanta, be honest. is there something i did? you’ve just been so fidgety and nervous around me lately.” todoroki looks him dead in the eyes. god those eyes.. how could he even lie at this point? “u-uh so.. there is something i do you want to tell you.. just promise you won’t say anything about this to anyone else” sero finally looks todoroki back in the eyes. “of course.” todoroki agrees. “uh so, shouto, i’ve actually had a tiny crush on you for a while.. a-and i wasn’t too sure how you would react so i just.. pushed it away i guess..” sero FINALLYYYY admits. todoroki blinks in surprise, huh, that’s a look i haven’t seen before. “i was hoping you would say something like that, ive felt the same for a year now.” todoroki grins slightly. WHAT??! A YEAR?? how is he so good at hiding his feelings?? “really?” sero raises his voice a little higher. todoroki nods, tapping his thighs.

“so like.. does that mean we can date now?” sero asks. “would you like to be my boyfriend sero?” todoroki also asks at the same time. “yes” they both say. they both also laugh.. strange! “so uhm.. what now?” sero asks. “can i try something?” todoroki suddenly asks. sero nods quickly. todorki moves his head closer to sero until their noses are slightly touching. they both close their eyes and sero wraps his arms around todorokis neck as their lips connect. sero slowly climbs into todorokis lap as they continue to kiss. after a minute or two they finally part. they’re both smiling. hard. sero hugs todoroki tightly and todoroki hugs him back.
