Seventeen Log

Summary:

I recently watched this short anime series called Honobono Log (Heartwarming Log) and I decided to use the episodes to inspire some Seventeen scenarios (except for the last three which were my own creations). Each member was chosen for their prompt by random number generator. Enjoy!

Chapter 1: Rain (DK)

Chapter Text

"Ughhhhhh," DK moaned into your back. You were sitting on the floor reading a book and he was lying behind you, face pressed against your back and arms around you. "I can't believe this, I already packed everything."

"We can just go another day," you responded as you turned the page in your book.

DK simply huffed in response.

It was his first day off in weeks and he'd planned to take you out on a picnic. He'd packed everything you needed and brought it over, but before you could head out, a freak rainstorm had literally drowned out your plans.

"(Y/N)...." he whined, kicking his legs and shaking you at the same time.

"Stop shaking me, you know we can't go out in this."

"But I wanted a picnic. Can we still have one?"

You paused in your reading. "What do you mean?"

He huffed and rolled onto the floor, lying on his back next to you. "I packed everything already. Can't we just have it here? An indoor picnic?"

It took a few seconds for his words to register. "Sure, if you want."

He was gone before you'd finished speaking, bustling around to find everything he'd brought.

You set your book down and watched with interest.

He produced a blanket, which he quickly spread across the floor where you were sitting. A full basket complete with paper plates and cups. Sandwiches, chips, fruit, and some sodas. He made a big show of setting everything properly so that it looked like a picnic and offering you everything. He'd even brought some fake flowers as a centerpiece.

You ate some of everything, making sure to thank him for putting it all together. He cracked jokes and you exchanged work stories. You talked about the book you were reading and he told you about some funny pranks Jeonghan had been pulling lately. Before long, it had been a few hours. He'd already started packing everything back up when you glanced at the window.

"DK, look."

He followed your gaze to see the sun had finally come out. He extended his hand to you.

"Want to go for a walk?"

"Sure."

And while it wasn't exactly the picnic he'd envisioned, it was easily one of the more memorable dates you two had.
