Shoyo, now a pro volleyball player and playing for Asas São Paulo had forgotten all about the rejected confession. Well okay maybe he hadn’t, but that doesn’t mean he was thinking about it every night. Okay, maybe he was but that’s besides the point. The point is that Shoyo Hinata doesn’t care about Tobio Kageyama at all.
Saturday 2:02 AM (7/7/2028)
Shoyo: Kenma.
Shoyo: Kenma.

Shoyo: Kenma
Kenma: Shoyo.
Kenma: You do understand that it is 2 in the morning over there right?
Kenma: Why are you up?
Shoyo: uhm that’s not the point
Shoyo: the point is that I can’t stop thinking about him ken
Kenma: Who?
Kenma: Kageyama?
Shoyo: …
Shoyo: wdym who :(
Shoyo: and yes.
Kenma: Mb ig
Kenma: Well sho if you miss him jst text him.
Kenma: You still have his number right?
Shoyo: …
Shoyo: no :p
Shoyo didn’t mean to delete Tobio’s number, he was just in his feelings and a little upset about his long-time crush rejecting his very heartfelt confession that took a lot of courage. The scene of shock and sadness on Kageyama’s face when Shoyo confessed to him replays in Shoyo’s mind every night. Shoyo sighs as he reads the newest message from Kenma.
Kenma: I still have his number from that gaming session we did.
Kenma: If you want I could give you his number.
