Work Text:
The evil crook dances with his meek partner; one hand on their hip, the other gripping their hand firmly.
The little cat can feel it's jagged fingers digging into their side. They can feel every little shift and change in the larger.
When the smaller attempts to make distance, the monster pulls them closer.
When the cat slows, the skeleton forces them to regain pace.
Their mind tells them it'll be over soon, that they'll escape the retched life they're living of being trapped in this cycle of abuse.
The disk spins in the endless loop it is destined to play.
Just as the cat is destined to be stuck by the skeleton's side for eternity.
