Work Text:
Everything was shrouded in thick dark clouds.
Hanging over head.
They refused to leave, crowding every thought and making them worse.
Choking the light out of her head.
Out of her eyes.
Her body wouldn’t move.
Stuck in her bed, held down by the dark clouds.
A friend comes to find her shrouded in the dark.
She chases the dark clouds, doing what she could.
Soft words.
Soft touch.
A hug and a joke and anything to catch the light smothered.
Dia finds her strength to sit upright.
Shoulder against Laguna’s.
The monster hugs her side.
“You’re gonna be okay.”
