The news was playing in the background as the Dragoon Hero was doing everything she could to not listen to the current battle, which involved Rumi. Ryuko rolled her eyes at the news even though she wasn’t truly watching it. She was listening to the words from the news but she refused to watch it, wanting to keep her hands busy as she focused on making a meal for Rumi. Soon, she was chopping some chicken breasts, hoping she was going to wow her wife with her growing cooking skills. I know she usually cooks but I want to prove that I’m learning from Rumi. Once Ryuko was finished cooking, that was when Rumi unlocked the door to their house. “Darlin’, I’m back,” Rumi let out a pleased growl when Ryuko turned around to greet her.
Rumi paused in her footsteps when she smelled the seasoned chopped chicken. “Did you cook?” She questioned, causing Ryuko’s cheeks to turn red at the words. “The house is still here,” Rumi teased lightly, knowing that the woman was still learning but she was still grateful for her wife’s cooking.
“I made sure I didn’t burn anything,” Rumi smiled at the words, knowing Ryuko would do anything to make her happy.
“I’m sure you didn’t. Now, let me set the table and we can eat,” Rumi told her with a grin.
