Chapter Text
It was a hot and humid day, the sky was cloudy but it was blistering hot. Like.. there was something wrong.
There was three people- if you could even say that..
A sheep hybrid, who was wronged by his past- and acting differently now.
A avian, a secret weapon of war, whom escaped from the terrors of fighting and blood.
And behind the avian was a gentle rock giant who wanted nothing but peace.
“Herb! Please stop this-! I don’t want to do this!” The avian shouted at the sheep hybrid.. He seemed.. Off.
“I- we- don’t want this-“ Ice stammered, but not letting his guard down. Ice wouldn’t let Herb get to Cavedweller.
‘Herb’ stared down at Ice, an unnerving glare. He took a step forwards, however Ice stood his ground, not daring to let his rock friend get hurt. Even if it meant hurting his other friend.
This strange Herb rushed Ice and slashed at Ices eye with his sword. The avian stumbled backwards, and held his eye.
“Herb- you- no… You’re no Herb. This- whoever you are needs to be stopped.” He glared at the sheep hybrid, clenching his fists.
In a blink of an eye Ice was up near Herb and decked him in the face, Herb took a step backwards and swung to try to hit the avian. But unfortunately for him, the bird was too fast.
Ice launched himself off of a tree, using his wings to drive himself towards his.. ‘Friend.’
As he was about to hit ‘Herb’ the bird saw a glimpse of his real friend, he looked terrified. But as quick as he appeared he left. Ice hesitated, since he did the bird was took by the neck and got thrown to the ground.
Ice struggled against the sheep, clawing at his arms. They stayed like that for what felt like hours, it seemed like they were both holding back, for whatever reason it was.
Ice closed his eyes in frustration and when he thought it was the end- there was a flash of grey with what seemed like moss. The sheep stumbled backwards off of Ice, who was a coughing mess.
Cavedweller looked back at Ice with an uncertain look, surely he did the right thing..?
Herb- or whatever he is, was passed out. His figure seemed different, resembling more of the Herb Ice knows. He looked terrible- but you could never be to sure…
Ice stumbled up, went over to the sheep, picked up his sword and stabbed him right through the heart. That is if he even did have a heart.
A silent ping was heard on his communicator, the notification read ‘H̷͉̑ḛ̵̢̺̎͐̈r̵̡̭̆̈́͝b̷̖̯̼͛̀͂ was slain by Ice’
The world went quiet then.
Too quiet.
Ice wearily looked back at CD, he took a step towards them and fell into their arms. The both of them were exhausted.
Everything went dark.
